Everest Spice Nepalese and Indian Restaurant in Epsom and Ewell

Great local curry place. We regularly got deliveries from here and they would be exactly what’s needed every time.

The food is divine! We tried the Tandoori Paneer main along side some vegetarian side dishes and just want to go straight back to have it all again. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and dimly lit. The music played was traditional, soft and gentle; perfect for a nice night out dining. Great vibes. Highly recommended :)

Seven of us came here for a meal and we all enjoyed a spectacular meal. Everyone said how delicious their food was and not a single complaint. Highly recommended.

The food here is absolutely delicious - this restaurant deserves to be packed to the rafters every night. We live down the road in Worcester Park, Everest Spice is significantly better than the 2 curry houses on our high street and worth the short train trip.

We had a great meal here. I tried the lamb shank and it was delicious. The chenin blanc is also very good and reasonably priced. The highlight of the evening was being looked after by Alisa. We thought the service was exceptional and Alisa could not have looked after us any better, she is a credit to the restaurant and made a big contribution to us having a great experience. Great food, good wine and great service. Thank you

Very lovely food probably one of the best we've ever had. Food took a while but they did specify it was made from scratch. Was totally worth the wait.

Everything we ordered was lush! We would definitely come back and service was friendly, we even got offered complimentary drinks. One drawback was that tikka masala was distinctively sweet which was unusual.

Tried this while staying in area due to family members living in Epsom. We all ordered a very wide variety of offerings off the menu ( no starters tho) and every dish was lovely no queries moans from anyone everyone thoroughly enjoyed meal. Will definitely return when back on our travels real nice place and great staff.

Good took an hour and a half to turn up and had no flavour and was also cold better off going to a supermarket and getting something from a jar .

Had an amazing meal here last night with some colleagues, defianatley recommended this restaurant as the flavours where really good.

Very nice experience at this restaurant. I got seated at 9 pm on a Saturday with no problem . We had poppadoms and prawn puri for starters , and chicken Makhani and chicken vindaloo for mains, all with a bottle of red wine. Cost £82 . Very nice and good service

The food was very good however the noise in the restaurant was so bad that we were having to almost shout to carry on a conversation. Will never return!

I came here on a quiet Tuesday evening, the food was super tasty and fresh and the staff were very helpful.

We come regularly. Staff are always very kind, friendly, welcoming and polite. It is by far the best egg fried rice we've had in the UK. We recommend chicken makhni, an absolute delicacy. Service is quick and the place is always spotless clean. Portions are very generous so you can eat fairly well for 10-20£ per person and still bring some food home. We recommend it 100%, an underrated gem in Epsom!!

We had a takeaway, it arrived a little earlier than expected, and included some unordered extras like poppadoms and chutneys. I can honestly say this was the best Indian takeaway I'd ever had. Wonderful flavours without blowing your head off, generous portions and friendly delivery. I've been dreaming about the bombay aloo ever since!

Shame their takeaway service isn’t at the same level as the restaurant. Have ordered delivery several times, food is always delivered warm. Taste is hit and miss, tonight we were not impressed, samosas were bland mash potato with a couple of peas added in. Salmon had no flavour and mushroom rice was mediocre despite 8 cardamom pods in the rice (yep, in just one portion). Curry was not up to par to what we had in the restaurant, despite being a chef special. Poppadoms were clearly precooked a while ago - they had already started going stale.

I used to love this place, but it's gone downhill. I received a delivery with curdled, off, mint sauce. They apologised, and, as I have been ordering from them for years, I ordered again......and guess what happened?! To have not done the necessary clean up after the first mistake indicates a very concerning deeper issue. I won't be ordering from them again.

I don’t normally write reviews, but felt I should as this restaurant is excellent. The Chicken Nepal Kalio is out of this world and the staff are so friendly. I will be back soon!

The food is really really good and the personnel very polite. You have to try the dessert.

One of the best Indian meals I have had out - I went for the mixed biryani (chicken, lamb & veggies) and it was so good. Massive portion, full of flavours, filling and the cauliflower and chickpea sauce on top was delightful. I wish I had actually chosen the vegetarian option as the baby aubergines, courgette and okra were a welcome surprise to some Indian veggie curries where it is just extra onion and peppers. So so good. Service was great and all the other food on the table looked and tasted great too. I will definitely be back for more or a takeaway.

Very tasty. Highly recommended the Pahadi lamb which was very tasty and delicious lamb which fell apart, clearly nicely slow cooked. Bhajis were flat but big enough to stay moist in the middle. Naan tasted fresh and soft. Recommended

Used to be one of our favourite restaurants in Epsom but unfortunately it seems to have gone drastically downhill in quality. Interestingly we ordered two identical dishes and they were different colours! Meat was hard, sauce was way too salty and it was inedible. Went straight in the bin. Such a shame

Outstanding restaurant. Very clean and welcoming with a polite and friendly staff. It was warm and quiet inside, and they were playing soothing music which set a very calm vibe. I was immediately at ease. The food was excellent. Super fresh and full of flavor. And at the end of our meal, the owner came over and shared some friendly conversation and bought us a nightcap liqueur. All around peaceful and fulfilling experience. I highly recommend.

This restaurant used to be amazing for both takeaway and dining. We visited and had takeaways regularly from 2011 to 2021 and it was always a favourite. However there has been a drastic change. We have been very disappointed with last two times in late 2022 and 2023. There is a huge change to the food quality and it is no longer the authentic Nepalese it was in the past. We won’t be returning unfortunately.

Visited on a Wednesday evening so the restaurant want very busy, service was excellent with friendly staff. Food was delicious, nicest curry I’ve had in a while. Highly recommended.

First time used this place. We all had great meals. I placed a telephone order at 6pm to be delivered at 8pm. All very efficient and delivered on time. Food was delicious! Thankyou. Will defo use again 👍🏻

It was quiet when we arrived at 6pm although it got busier later. We shared four poppadums before we ordered starters of chicken lollipops and vegetable samosas - both were excellent. Mains were salmon and a chicken masala, also very tasty and hot and accompanied by egg fried rice and a Peshawari naan. With a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and two lemonades the bill was £69 including service. Good and friendly service (they went out and bought the lemonade!).

Delivered hot and on time, very friendly delivery driver and the food was absolutely delicious. Very generous portions of chicken and the best delivered samosas we have had. Will order again!

Watch their pricing! Went here with the family having been with a larger group previously. The food is nice (except the Chicken Korma which was very thick and creamy, like paint /PVC glue). However meals and sides generally good. You wouldn't choose the restaurant for its decor or ambiance. However, order carefully as they catch you on the prices. Eg. Pint of Cobra £5.95. 2 halves are £6.50. 2 bottles of non-alcoholic beer (330ml each) £7.90 Poppadom basket (4) £4.50 Half poppadom basket (2) £3.00 Eating out has become more expensive, but when you study the bill it feels like you are being ripped off. Won't go back.

We had a takeaway delivered at 15th October this Saturday and I must tell you the food was amazing my kids and family enjoyed a lot. Must recommend the food from this restaurant.

Chanced upon the Everest during a night out with friends after a horse racing event. After a few rounds in the pub, the majority verdict was to go for Nepalese/Indian food - what a find the Everest was. Very interesting menu and my first experience...

I used to be regular customer here and stopped coming here in 2018 when I suggested to my partners family about trying this Indian. It was the worst experience ever and we felt like we were being rushed to order and hurried to get out although we had even booked the table. I haven’t come here since and will never come back to this place. There are better Indians around avoid this place or you will be forced to rush your meal and get out

These are fake reviews, the food gave us food poisoning, it seemed like it was frozen food and ready made sauce. Not authentic at all. Food tastes bland and lacks flavour. certainly won’t be returning or recommending. They even had the audacity to charge us full service charge after we had complained about the food. I was so hungry and wasted my hunger here.

What a lovely restaurant! Felt welcome from the moment we arrived, the staff were all really friendly and recommended the momos and Sherpa lamb and Nepal kalio and the mushroom ko parikaar side. Stunning flavours, spicy but the individual herbs and spices came through, good...

Rubbish don’t bother. Awful food and even worse staff. Cannot be bothered at all to appease their customers. Why they have good reviews is beyond me so are these verging on fake!!!

If I could review it as a minus I would. Food nowhere near ready on collection. Mainly due to momo but when asked to discount that still a wait. Asked to be refunded that was a problem but got it in the end. Sainsburys saved...

Appalling bad customer service. Happy to take £50 from us for food - but then blamed Deliveroo for the food not showing up. “Blame Deliveroo not us” - not our fault… £50 down no food and no help…

Meals very hot for standard curries

The food from Everest Spice is always delicious and the turnaround times are always quicker than estimated. It's a delight to find somewhere that does lamb sekuwa. I highly recommend Everest Spice.

Food was very good and no complaints with service. To bring my rating to a 5 🌟 I would request a good quality rose blush wine available, sort out the issue with the draft from the front door every time someone enters/leaves and give the accessible toilet a bit of attention (fresh paint and new fixtures would make all the difference)

This was the first time that I've had Indian or Nepalese food at an actual restaurant, and it was fantastic! We ordered the sherpa lamb, the everest special biryani and the chicken tikka which were all great. The service was lovely and I hope to...

Food was super good as per usual but the service was slow. My real issue with the restaurant is that we ordered a small glass of soda water. This was recorded on the receipt as line and soda with a charge of £2.50. So we queried this, only to be told that the lime charged was for a slice of lime........this we didn't have either. Again, we pointed out that this was outrageous that they charge even for the slice of lime which we didn't have. So, end result, they insulted us even more by reducing our bill by 10p! Appalling customer service.

Hidden gem with amazing tasty dishes. Have been getting takeaways from here for a while now and have to say they are my favorite curries from the area. Actually ate in the restaurant for the first time a couple weeks ago, tasted even better! Staff are friendly & attentive, food was quite quick, the variety of food on the menu is perfect.

Fantastic Nepalese food. Went early on a Friday night, which was a great choice as it was packed by 8. Food was stunning, fantastic flavours truly the nicest & tastiest place I have been to in a long time. Comparable to Indian but was so much better. Service was fantastic and very helpful, they paired some nice wines. It does get busy and loud on Fridays and Saturdays, so choose your time and have an experience you won't forget.

Cannot rate Everest Spice highly enough - food delivered quickly, hot and in ample proportions to provide two meals for me, with unexpected poppadums and pickles. Been to the restaurant many times and the takeaway food is just as good. Clearly excellent chefs who know how to produce tasty and well spiced recipes to suit any taste - hard to beat anywhere.

Always seek an Indian restaurant out on my travels. This one was a few minutes from my hotel amongst a collection of bars and restaurants. Enjoyed a really good chilli chicken starter followed by chicken tikka jalfrezi, Pilau and podina paratha. Major spice all round!!...

We order from here regularly and love the food. We had guest yesterday. They loved the food may have converted them to Everest Spice.
