Had an amazing meal here last night with some colleagues, defianatley recommended this restaurant as the flavours where really good.

Very nice experience at this restaurant. I got seated at 9 pm on a Saturday with no problem . We had poppadoms and prawn puri for starters , and chicken Makhani and chicken vindaloo for mains, all with a bottle of red wine. Cost £82 . Very nice and good service

I came here on a quiet Tuesday evening, the food was super tasty and fresh and the staff were very helpful.

We come regularly. Staff are always very kind, friendly, welcoming and polite. It is by far the best egg fried rice we've had in the UK. We recommend chicken makhni, an absolute delicacy. Service is quick and the place is always spotless clean. Portions are very generous so you can eat fairly well for 10-20£ per person and still bring some food home. We recommend it 100%, an underrated gem in Epsom!!

Shame their takeaway service isn’t at the same level as the restaurant. Have ordered delivery several times, food is always delivered warm. Taste is hit and miss, tonight we were not impressed, samosas were bland mash potato with a couple of peas added in. Salmon had no flavour and mushroom rice was mediocre despite 8 cardamom pods in the rice (yep, in just one portion). Curry was not up to par to what we had in the restaurant, despite being a chef special. Poppadoms were clearly precooked a while ago - they had already started going stale.

I used to love this place, but it's gone downhill. I received a delivery with curdled, off, mint sauce. They apologised, and, as I have been ordering from them for years, I ordered again......and guess what happened?! To have not done the necessary clean up after the first mistake indicates a very concerning deeper issue. I won't be ordering from them again.

The food is really really good and the personnel very polite. You have to try the dessert.

Very tasty. Highly recommended the Pahadi lamb which was very tasty and delicious lamb which fell apart, clearly nicely slow cooked. Bhajis were flat but big enough to stay moist in the middle. Naan tasted fresh and soft. Recommended

Outstanding restaurant. Very clean and welcoming with a polite and friendly staff. It was warm and quiet inside, and they were playing soothing music which set a very calm vibe. I was immediately at ease. The food was excellent. Super fresh and full of flavor. And at the end of our meal, the owner came over and shared some friendly conversation and bought us a nightcap liqueur. All around peaceful and fulfilling experience. I highly recommend.

This restaurant used to be amazing for both takeaway and dining. We visited and had takeaways regularly from 2011 to 2021 and it was always a favourite. However there has been a drastic change. We have been very disappointed with last two times in late 2022 and 2023. There is a huge change to the food quality and it is no longer the authentic Nepalese it was in the past. We won’t be returning unfortunately.

We had a takeaway delivered at 15th October this Saturday and I must tell you the food was amazing my kids and family enjoyed a lot. Must recommend the food from this restaurant.

Ordered momos. An utter disappointment. There was no flavour in chicken , not even salt. The chutney given was cold as if straight out of fridge. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

I used to be regular customer here and stopped coming here in 2018 when I suggested to my partners family about trying this Indian. It was the worst experience ever and we felt like we were being rushed to order and hurried to get out although we had even booked the table. I haven’t come here since and will never come back to this place. There are better Indians around avoid this place or you will be forced to rush your meal and get out

These are fake reviews, the food gave us food poisoning, it seemed like it was frozen food and ready made sauce. Not authentic at all. Food tastes bland and lacks flavour. certainly won’t be returning or recommending. They even had the audacity to charge us full service charge after we had complained about the food. I was so hungry and wasted my hunger here.

Rubbish don’t bother. Awful food and even worse staff. Cannot be bothered at all to appease their customers. Why they have good reviews is beyond me so are these verging on fake!!!

If I could review it as a minus I would. Food nowhere near ready on collection. Mainly due to momo but when asked to discount that still a wait. Asked to be refunded that was a problem but got it in the end. Sainsburys saved the day and also saved money. Utter rubbish blamed on poor systems. Turn up when indicated by their system to find out it is incorrect. Don’t bother!

Appalling bad customer service. Happy to take £50 from us for food - but then blamed Deliveroo for the food not showing up. “Blame Deliveroo not us” - not our fault… £50 down no food and no help…

Food was very good and no complaints with service. To bring my rating to a 5 🌟 I would request a good quality rose blush wine available, sort out the issue with the draft from the front door every time someone enters/leaves and give the accessible toilet a bit of attention (fresh paint and new fixtures would make all the difference)

This was the first time that I've had Indian or Nepalese food at an actual restaurant, and it was fantastic! We ordered the sherpa lamb, the everest special biryani and the chicken tikka which were all great. The service was lovely and I hope to come back here soon.

Food was super good as per usual but the service was slow. My real issue with the restaurant is that we ordered a small glass of soda water. This was recorded on the receipt as line and soda with a charge of £2.50. So we queried this, only to be told that the lime charged was for a slice of lime........this we didn't have either. Again, we pointed out that this was outrageous that they charge even for the slice of lime which we didn't have. So, end result, they insulted us even more by reducing our bill by 10p! Appalling customer service.

This place nevers fails to impress. Great service from friendly and knowledgeable staff, amazing food with quality ingredients. They even cook dishes not on the menu. Simply the best 👌 👍 😍

Went last night with my partner for dinner. To echo other reviews- the service was lovely and very friendly. Popadums arrived immediately: We loved the sauces! Main meal took a while to come but I think we arrived at the beginning of the dinner rush, and we had popadums so it was fine. The food is EXCELLENT. Good quality meat, non- greasy and just- delicious. My partner had a biryani which he struggled to Finish - and it was perfect. My mushroom rice was so good- fresh mushroom, non greasy- and the curry was agin non greasy and delicious with big chunks of meat. Amazing aloo gobi too- the cauli not overcooked and soggy, but with bite (we took a decent doggy bag home, portions are generous!)The only slight downer was that when the bill came, there were 4 extra beers on it- my OH had a few already so didn’t notice but luckily I did, and the problem was rectified quickly. Looking at other reviews there don’t seem to be similar concerns so I suspect genuine mistake. We will be back!

Visited Everest Spice tonight for a mid-week treat. The restaurant was relatively quiet, but by no means empty. The staff were pleasant and friendly throughout our visit, being very attentive at all times. We had drinks, poppadoms, and main courses of Tandoori chicken with mushroom rice, and Himchuli king prawns with lemon rice, along with a plain naan.The food was hot (temperature) and delicious. The Himchuli king prawns had a kick, but not an after burn, the spice was more flavour than heat, which was nice. The Chicken was moist, and very tasty.Overall, it was a great meal, the value was good, and the service was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, and will certainly return.

Fantastic Nepalese food. Went early on a Friday night, which was a great choice as it was packed by 8. Food was stunning, fantastic flavours truly the nicest & tastiest place I have been to in a long time. Comparable to Indian but was so much better. Service was fantastic and very helpful, they paired some nice wines. It does get busy and loud on Fridays and Saturdays, so choose your time and have an experience you won't forget.

Hidden gem with amazing tasty dishes. Have been getting takeaways from here for a while now and have to say they are my favorite curries from the area. Actually ate in the restaurant for the first time a couple weeks ago, tasted even better! Staff are friendly & attentive, food was quite quick, the variety of food on the menu is perfect.

We recently booked this restaurant due to its proximity to the station as four of us were arriving from different directions. The manageress greeting us and recommended the momos for starters which we absolutely superb (the lamb ones were the best). She also gave us recommendations for the main courses of which I would say the Lamb Sherpa was the stand out dish. Definitely a different taste to standard Indian/Bangladeshi curries and we will definitely be back. The only area to improve would be the quality of the coffee which tasted distinctly instant but not enough to downgrade to 4*. Really impressed.

Always seek an Indian restaurant out on my travels.This one was a few minutes from my hotel amongst a collection of bars and restaurants.Enjoyed a really good chilli chicken starter followed by chicken tikka jalfrezi, Pilau and podina paratha. Major spice all round!! Very good food and nice friendly service throughout. Good menu and fair prices too.

We visited on a fairly busy Saturday, but they found my chum & I a table without fuss.I ordered a Chicken Tikka Biryani while my chum ordered Lamb Dansak with Mushroom Pilau rice. Both dishes were delicious (we tried each others meals); very flavoursome & satisfyingly spicy. Regarding the side-dishes, our poppadum's were nicely fried (not microwaved) & the sag-aloo not at all greasy with plenty of spinach. The Keema nan was excellent, too - not over dry.For once my Biryani's accompanying veggie curry was really tasty, my chum's Mushroom rice was excellent, with perfectly cooked, nicely separated grains, plenty of spice & nicely prepared mushrooms.Though the owner is a little bit dour, both the waitresses who served us were lovely & charm personified.Easily, one of the best curries I've had in years. Outstanding!

First logistics ... the website allows you to order a takeaway or preorder your meal in advance which is really good. I ordered on the phone which was also quick. Cooking took 15 minutes longer than the estimated 30 minutes but the quality of the food produced made the wait worth while. Big portions of tasty and at times very hot and spicy Indian and Nepalese food. I will be back

Proper chaps evening, copious ale followed by a ruby, and what a ruby, more like a diamond in the rough! Restored my faith in the wizardry of the Indian chef, a real master of spice, well executed and beautifully presented by our fabulous Polish waitress - A truly international culinary experience. Food was nice when it eventually arrived. This is the second time in a row that the actual delivery time was much longer than indicated on the website. I had to call twice to chase to find out what was happening and a promised call back to let me know what was happening didn’t happen. Sadly poor customer service. If you can collect I would advise you to avoid delivery. Plus, make sure you order from Epsom and ask for it to be sent from Epsom - the food from Sutton is nowhere near as nice!

Always great Nepalese food, good service, friendly people. If you like curry don’t be put off by the Nepalese bit, for me it means more class, a finer balance of spices, more choice cuts of meat. These folks know there trade. They do a great NHS discount too.

Been waiting an hour and a half for our takeaway and the now they aren't answering the phone...!!!!!!!!

Ordered a delivery which is free with minimum spend. I asked what the service charge is for but they wouldn’t answer. It’s not about the cost (if it were, I wouldn’t be tipping the delivery bloke over the odds every time) as it’s only 40p but I don’t like being ripped off either. Every delivery is charged Kim this but gets nothing for it. Why can restaurants charge for providing literally nothing, ie, the service charge? Other retailers wouldn’t be allowed to get away with this.

We visited & ate in the restaurant on a random midweek evening. The staff were friendly and attentive, the menu had a great selection, and the food was outstanding. We had the Everest Special Chicken, Grukhali lamb, Bhindi Sukha, and Everest Mixed Platter. All was excellent quality, but got cold quickly so could have done with a hotplate.

We group of four dined in Everest Spice on Saturday. Luckily, pre-booked worked as place was all time busy in the evening. We found the manager, Rajiv was lovely and helpful person. With his great help, starter as lamb sekuwa was remarkable. They serve lovely Nepalese sword beer. Recommended Gurkhas lamb and chicken curry in no.26 were flavoursome, tasty and nice kick of spicy. We have been offered free drinks after the meal which was good excuse to go back there again. Overall, had a best Nepalese from all perspective like food and service. We will be definitely back soon.

I totally agree with reviwer `HomeInSurrey. There were four of us and we booked Everest for Tuesday evening (8th Sept). Having loved Asian food for many years, I found their menu range to be quite impressive and we all ordered different side and main dishes. None of them disappointed; all were absolutely delicious - with quality and quantity in mind, too. I only wish I had access to a restaurant of this calibre near to where I live - some 120 miles away. The staff were very good, attentive and friendly - but without going overboard. My next visit to friends in the Epsom area WILL include another visit to Everest and I can`t wait!

A polite and friendly delivery service. Everything was freshly cooked, and it all tasted extremely good. (Chicken korma, sagg aloo, mushrooms and king prawn curry).

Ordered a take-away from here this evening; it was all freshly cooked and it was really very nice. I'll definitely order from here again. The only drawback was the price - nearly £45.00 for two curry/rice, 2 sides and 2 breads - but in line, I think, with other similar places in the Ewell/Epsom area.

Having pre-booked, three friends and I were warmly greeted on arrival. Drinks and papadams were ordered and delivered promptly while we browsed the main menu. We decided to order a selection of main dishes and sides so that we could, in effect, enjoy a mixed buffet. Our mains included two different chicken dishes, a veg biriani and Gurkhali lamb. I particularly liked the lamb which was so tender, though all dishes were exceptionally good quality (and generous in quantity). Like so many restaurants, Everest Spice participated in the Government’s recent ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme (now ended). The restaurateur told us he had been fully booked every night during the scheme, requiring considerable effort to meet the exceptional levels of demand, at the same time as implementing arrangements to ensure a Covid-secure experience for customers. Everest Spice appears to have overcome that transition and offers a nice table layout with an atmosphere to help create a convivial atmosphere for customers.The staff were very efficient and attentive throughout the evening, and we were offered drinks on the house at the end – nice touch.My friends and I are already looking forward to another return visit to Everest Spice. Highly recommended.

So partly in response to BobHFilmEditor’s “Could do better” review below, but MAINLY because we just like the place, 4 of us booked and ate at Everest Spice Tuesday 8th September 2020Regrettably, BobHFilmEditor was unable to join us but his place was taken by another friend who has eaten there several times before.Rajiv recognised us and took GREAT pains to admit that on the night of BobHFilmEditor’s review, they did get it wrong. He and I had a long conversation in which he explained that the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme had resulted in many more customers than anticipated. In addition, they were short of staff through no fault of their own. Basically, I took it to mean that they were essentially overwhelmed. So, moving on to our experience on 8th September, we all enjoyed the food, getting exactly what we ordered which was, frankly, delicious – the reason we regularly go there!The service was back to what we expected (i.e. excellent) and as a “Thank you” to us for giving them another chance, Rajiv gave us the “Eat Out to Help Out” discount, despite the scheme having officially ended. We all agreed, that, in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, “We’ll be back”

Very tasty Nepalese restaurant. Good menu variety, quick service and friendly staff. Tried it for the first time on eat out to help out and will be returning!

From the outside it shows promise, but once inside the noisy inside when busy is deafening. With now sound absorbent floors, walls or hangings its all a bit bland and with lots of people all trying to talk to their friends you all end up speaking louder to be heard. Maybe the owners should visit another Indian restaurant and notice the surroundings.The service was very poor, taking several minutes to be served anything, and then over 45 minutes for the food and that was only the pompadom starter . Considering there were people waiting outside, that is bad business not to serve quickly and get another sitting in.The food was only just average for an Indian restaurant, and to my amazement they forgot the rice and had to be reminded. One of the most staple items most people order, how can you forget it. They then forget my drink, so in the end went up and got it myself.Considering they were only half full due to spacing for COVID, how would they cope if they had more people?

This restaurant displayed the highest standards in all aspects. The service was great - very friendly and accommodating throughout and looked to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The food was superb; the menu was extensive with old favourites and Nepalese specials and the Gurkhali Lamb (billed as a Nepalese village curry) was supreme; a real delight. It offered an explosion of flavours with great texture and a kick for the diner who enjoys a strong chilli element to their curry. The pictures of Nepal added to the overall experience and the place was well lit.A coruscant gem in the centre of Epsom.

Me and my partner randomly popped up inside this little heaven after seeing new UK scheme. Nicely greeted and seated by humble gentlemen. Served our drinks and pappadum on time. We were somehow curious about cuisine as we never had Nepalese before. Same gentleman, only wearing white shirt on night, explained about place and about his country. Completely impressed with professionalism.Meanwhile, we have been served our mains. Recommended Nepalese lamb and sweet and spice chicken curry with especial Nepalese rice and garlic bread were so tasty, fresh and tenderness. We were amazed during our stay in Everest Spice. I most say, most go place if you are around Surray.

We had a bit of an issue with a takeaway from here but we let Vijay know and he really went out of his way to sort it out for us. Things are understandably quite hectic at the moment so it was very kind of him to go the extra mile to satisfy his customers.Would highly recommend as great food here. I particularly recommend the lamb as you can tell it's made from high quality meat and the momos are delicious. Definitely worth a try.

I have been a big fan of Everest Spice since it opened, great food and service. This evening however, we ordered 2 mains and 3 sides. The website claimed free delivery and free popadums. We were charged for delivery and no popadums arrived. Plus the bill was 45 quid. This is the last time I will use Everest Spice. Feeling ripped off during Lockdown

Worst curry I've ever had. I can make better curries at home. The curry sauce was flavourless and congealed, the chicken was dry, the mango lassi was not fresh. I waited 45 minutes to get the attention of staff and 3 groups of people left after I'd finished. Was very disappointed and won't try again.

We’ve never eaten in this restaurant and decided to try a takeaway. As a family, we understand Indian food very well.This was easily the worse Indian meal any of the four of us could remember. Even simple things like the raita were awful.The best thing was that we forgot to order one dish - as that would have been thrown away with the rest.From other reviews I can only assume the restaurant serves far better food than the takeaway.

The Everest Spice in Epsom was an absolute joy to meet old friends for dinner. When we arrived for our 19.45 booking the Restaurant was already full bar our table. The staff were so friendly and the food great. I had my favourite lamb Bhoona and it was one of the best I have ever had, my wife and friends were equally impressed with there meals. I highly recommend a visit to this excellent Restaurant.

We had come down from London to Epsom for work.  Although we were the first customers to arrive in the evening midweek, it didn't take long for many other tables to be taken as well.We were really impressed with the excellent quality food and size of portions.The waiters and manager were especially generous with their hospitality.We will definitely eat here again next time we are in Epsom.It might be helpful to know that the restaurant is within walking distance of the Train Station.  They also have a set four course menu which looks good value for £19.

Everest is our go-to place when we go out. We have never had anything but great experiences and fantastic food here.
