Good grub. A bit crowded/noisy.

We ordered online a takeaway meal to collect. Our food was ready and waiting on arrival. Piping hot, it was well packed for the journey home. We were delighted with every dish and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There was more than enough of everything, and to be fair, it's hard not over eat. All around, we highly rate the Surrey Palace.

Had a family birthday meal for 5. Both the food & service were excellent. Would definitely recommend

Not one for writing reviews but I’ve been so impressed that I feel people need to know and this business needs to get the praise they deserve as it’s very rare now to find a place that can absolutely smash a first visit, a visit on a extremely busy night and a home delivery with ice cream which was delivered in one piece and still ice cream. Their food is amazing, their staff are polite and just what you would expect and their delivery time wasn’t long at all and the driver was polite and happy. So happy to find somewhere great and would highly recommend to everyone, see for yourself!! Also what a great menu, so so many different choices to suit everyone! And I’d defo recommend the flake and Ferraro ice cream.. better than a desert place!

Met with old friends for a long awaited beer and a curry. We were warmly greeted and set up with drinks while are party arrived one by one. They were clearly aware that we were all having a good catch up and suggested leaving us with some poppadoms to have a few beers until we were ready to order. Food was timely and tasty but the evening was made by the service. The staff understood how to look after us at OUR pace. It is a shame that this is noteworthy but nowadays we become used to being rushed through a meal in the fastest possible time. Our bill was about £60 each , which sounds a lot but we were there for 2/3 hours and had half a dozen beers each so the food was quite reasonable.

Just ordered a take away and as usual the food was amazing! Taste lovely and plenty of food! Chicken Chat puri starter was huge and well worth having.

I’ve lived in Ewell Court for 8 years now we’ve used Surrey Palace for all of that time. What a find. Amazing Indian Food. Well cooked. Well prepared. Take aways are always spot on. Lamb is always soft and you can tell the care that’s gone in. It’s been slow cooked and tender. Staff are always friendly. It’s probably the best Indian restaurant this side of Bombay. Bravo

I have used this place for 12 years. While it is a bit more expensive. The quality is spot on. I have had curry all over the world and Surrey Palce is consistantly the best I ever had. I am back every week for my curry and I don't both going anywhere else.

Food was absolutely scummy service excellent.

Ordered at 8:56, received at 10:20 after being advised of a 45 minute delivery. Curry was definitely two days old and attached photo was the salad I receive to accompany my £15 worth of dry starters. Still at least it was cheap at 43 sovs for two

Wow what a curry! Came here with my Mr, the chef came out & tailored both of our curry's to taste! Food is impeccable. So so tasty! The staff were friendly and kind to us. Lovely atmosphere & interier! As someone who eats curry weekendly, this is up there with the best! Will definitely be back for more and would highly recommend.

I've been eating on and off here for 20 years however I don't live locally anymore so coming here is a rare treat. I came here for dinner with the Mrs recently and the food was impeccable (as it always has been). The chef tailored both of our curries to our tastes and both tasted divine. As an avid curry fan and someone that eats curry most weekends this is truly up there with the best of the best. The restaurant itself has great decor and a lovely atmosphere, the staff friendly and attentive with a great service. I'd give 6 stars if I could! Highly recommend! X

Just had a home delivery a regular customer for over 20 years Ordered a lamb balti medium was so hot my husband could not eat it

It was okay. Nothing special. Delivery was quick. The answered there phones quickly. Big selection of food. I made an online order. The online order was a hassle as I was given an offer code which did not work. I had already spent a while getting my order together so I had to order anyway. Delivery was super quick. Really quick. It was there own driver as he asked me if I had paid or not. No issues at all here. It may have been quick as it was a Monday night. But beat eta Delivery by 30 minutes. Food was okay. The chutneys were to sweet and generic. They were not freshly made. And was expensive for what it was. The naga was not hot, or lethal - as advertised. This was really dissapointing as this is meant to be the hottest chillie and I tasted none of it. Spinach was good - nothing special. The lamb In both dishes was good quality. Naan was okay again nothing special. Samosa has a slight sweet taste to it. All in all. It was okay. Not worth £40+ to me. And the fact the voucher code didn't work was dissapointing.

This was my first visit to Surrey palace and we went for a family birthday dinner after a few family members go regularly and have always had fab meals. It seemed to be taken over by delivery orders to the point where we didn’t get asked what we wanted to order for over 45 minutes. We then waited 2.5 hours for our mains and when they came it was so disappointing. The food was either extremely salty or dry and they also forgot a item and got a few things wrong. Like most restaurants you’ll be given a free drink but not here though my family members said they usually do. They didn’t seem to care that the experience we had was shocking and we were all keen to leave. I won’t rush back.

This is my only curry restaurant that I look forward too,my friends come from Wimbledon to go here because they love it so much.From the tables to the food waiters and ambience it’s special.There are comments that it’s pricey it’s not give it a try you pay a little more than other ones in the area but the presentation and quality is very good.It’s the only place I have a king prawn jalfrezi because it never fails on being delicious.

Back home in the uk for a weekend staying with friends and craving a good English curry. This restaurant didn’t let us down. The service was very friendly and the food, fantastic!!! I would highly recommend it

Best curry house I have ever been to, been coming here for years, both take away and dining in and either way it's the best. I normally find other places when you order a delivery the quality of the food is not as good but with Surrey Palace the quality of the food is top notch! 10/10 recommend 👌🏼

Helpful chat to discuss menu and quantities in person with Tariq at the Surrey Palace restaurant led to a big delivery order for 40 people for our NYE party in Tolworth. Excellent service as the food arrived on time (105 items) and got rave reviews e.g.'best curry ever I've ever tasted' from all our guests (vegetarian and non-vegetarian alike). Superb quality of ingredients and fantastic taste. Thanks for making the food part of the party so enjoyable.

Ordered 2 starters and two mains. It took one hour and 45 minutes for delivery. When we telephone the restaurant, they said they were busy. Clearly too busy to receive a customers order within a reasonable amount of time. The order contained 1 X Crab Jafrani and there was just two pieces of crab. This dish was £16. The manager then called me back and I asked three times to be refunded for this dish and he said that I will give you it free. next time, I said I do not want this in the end. I got a refund poor service poor food poor management. Avoid

Love this place. Unfortunately this takeaway chicken passanda. Slices of chicken almost like it came out of a packet. When I ate this in the restaurant before it was amazing. Very disappointed.

Just had a take away from here, have always used in the past and been happy, however it was awful. The containers are plastic now and flat so that you don’t get a good portion of curry. The curries were thin and tasteless. It was very expensive too. Would not go here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend. So sad as it used to be so good. It’s gone from being the best to the worst.

The wife and I always get our curry from The Surrey Palace. Probably a bit more expensive than your usual curry restaurant, but the quality and service cant be faulted. Full of flavour and good portions! Look forward to our next visit soon.

We are local to this restaurant and visit frequently. We are always made to feel more than welcome and our food is always delicious. Always an enjoyable visit. Must visit if you haven’t already. I recommend the chicken naga!

One of the best curry houses I’ve been to in a while. Lamb chops to start, very tasty, with lamb korai main, which was well spiced and incredible. The breads were nice and crispy and good selection of dips for the poppadoms. Kingfisher on draft. Very friendly staff as well, would visit again and recommend

Far too expensive with small portions. Chicken doesn’t taste fresh, we all thought it was defrosted chicken. My curry tasted like gravy granules added to a shop bought paste. Wasn’t pleasant.

Highly recommended and I was not disappointed. Went for my son's birthday. We ordered a selection of starters and the king prawn puri was a generous size and tasty. We had various main courses and the mutton was good. It had 3 chilli's but it wasn't too hot, the korma for me was slightly too sweet, the dal was good and everything wasn't too oily. I definitely go back, best curry locally.

After getting a table at this difficult to get in restaurant we was very disappointed with the food which was very substandard we had 3 different chicken dishes & to say the chicken was tough is an understatement in fact it kept asking outside for a fight with this restaurant being top end price wise you would expect the food to be a certain level so I’m afraid we wasn’t impressed & won’t be going back

Excellent service and great food once again. Table for 6 at 8pm and we were in there for 3.5 hours, not rushed at all. Staff are brilliant and very attentive.

First time. I thought the food was very greasy and everything tasted the same. Will give it another go as the owner was very helpful. It was quite expensive. However all chefs can have an off night so I will give it another go.

Food was amazing, just a real shame was overcharged and reciept taken away so quick before I could question it, how many people do they do this too,when questioned got the biggest blag “ the glass wine is more as we gave you more than 125ml” ecen when it was a fixed glass or bottle rate! Tables booked with so many young groups clearly the resturant not checking in with Covid Regs, waiter even took mask off for a picture for someones birthday. Lets hope no-one gets ill! Amazing taste sensation! I've moved further away but still my go-to curry house. Large selection of curries. Something for everyone. I usually get takeaway as the venue itself does get a little too crowded for my liking and you do feel a little bit packed in. If it's a quiet day it's perfect but on a busy night it's not the best. The food is amazing though and the staff are very friendly (more so when it's not rammed). The food can come surprisingly fast so once you've ordered don't expect to be waiting long! Can't believe I've visited so many times and yet to review! Highly recommend.

A regular here but mainly for take outs. Food always good & staff nice. Prawn bhuna is a must. Not the cheapest but never had a bad meal

Delicious food and lovely staff. Would have 5 stars but we had to question the drinks bill where we'd been overcharged. In their defence they had been really busy but their system of how many people are in the chain of getting the drinks to the table needs tweaking!

The food is just unreal, its delicious and the customer service is over and above any other Indian restaraunts locally (and they are all pretty good!). The staff make such an effort to be friendly and their knowledge of the menu is second to none. Its undoubtedly the best indian around

We've had food from here many times, normally as takeaway since we're local. It has never disappointed, and all our friends and family who've eaten with us have commented on how delicious it is! The service in the restaurant is also first class.
