Bought two tuna melt paninis.
Watched as they put as many items into the oven as possible. Used the same tongs to handle meat and vegetable products. Due to overloading the oven my panini was cold in the middle and my husband was accidentally given a ham and cheese when he's pescatarian for a reason. Took time to ask your name, but called out drinks by describing each one once they were made. Why bother taking names? All the food was replaced, but you shouldn't have to tell people how to do their job. It should be basic food hygiene and allergy awareness with no excuses.
Almost empty apart from me, so first in the queue but no receipt so needed to memorise my number. Food was cold but burnt, fries would have been better than usual fast food ones as they were thicker and still had skin on them shame they been over cooked and left to get cold. The chicken was dry.
I rarely visit these places and probably won't again
To put it bluntly Yes it is that BAD!. Used to be called Chiana Peking & when it failed they rebranded it Mings. Greasy unpleasant food. zero manners from manager when things go wrong. Ordered a sweet & sour battered chicken, it to arrive with no Sweet & sour sauce? only to be told you have to pay for the sauce extra Yes Really!.
I ordered for my lunch break at work, I ordered 1.5 hours in advance an booked a delivery time as I only get 30mins for lunch.
The restraunt accepted the order an verified the time slot.
5 mins before my lunch break they decided to cancel my order, leaving me working a 12 hour shift without food or time to make any other sort of order.... (they didn't even bother to call an give me a heads up), I only noticed the email once the time slot had actually passed, my food was late, a 3rd of my break already gone. So I was looking for the receipt so I could get the number to check where my food is an that's when I found the email informing me it's not coming 😔
I understand stuff happens but not to call an let me know 🤔 I think that's just awful way to treat customers who's bookings an money you already accepted, they did issue a refund but it's not the point here.

Very disappointed in both quality and service. I ordered a delivery and food turns up which both fish n chips did not taste very nice and was just warm. They also forgot to deliver a bottle of drink and savaloy in which when contacting them arrived 20 minutes after I finished my food. Due to service and quality I do not think I will be using them again.
Avoid McDonald’s Gatwick – An Absolute Disgrace to the Brand
I have to say, McDonald’s at Gatwick is without a doubt the worst establishment I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with—both within the organisation and across its franchise network. After having previous difficulties visiting the store in person, I decided to give them another chance by ordering through a delivery service since I live relatively close by. What followed was nothing short of a disaster.
Tracking the driver’s journey, I could see he was stuck waiting at the restaurant for nearly an hour—an appalling delay considering this is supposed to be “fast food.” When my order finally arrived, it was an absolute embarrassment.
• Stone-cold chips—clearly left sitting out for ages.
• A Big Mac that looked like it had been run over—completely mangled and falling apart.
• Two McFlurrys—both melted to the point of being liquid slop.
Let’s be clear: this wasn’t the delivery driver’s fault. He even mentioned that the manager of the store couldn’t care less when he raised concerns about the wait time and condition of the food. That says everything about the standards (or lack thereof) at this branch.
The level of negligence and disrespect for customers here is absolutely shocking. How can a brand as big as McDonald’s allow this kind of blatant disregard for quality and service to tarnish its name? It’s an embarrassment to the franchise and a slap in the face to paying customers.
Food was good -
However - TERRIBLE experience with MET Car Park services!!
I forgot to validate my ticket when I drove up to the barrier. So I reversed and re-parked - went in and get my ticket validated at the tills (No clear instructions where or how this is done). Then exited the car park with my validated ticket! I broke no rules...
I later receive a parking fine from MET Parking Services - I appealed this as I didn't exit the car park without a validated ticket and they have now rejected it! Day light robbery...
Completely unfair from McDonalds third party carpark and definitely won't be going again due to this.
Absolute poooooor customer service would not recommend -1000/10 poor food quality too the pizza’s look like they’ve been beaten up not an a pleasure to look at
I recently visited Cake Box in Langley Green and decided to join their loyalty scheme, hoping to benefit from the discounts offered. After paying for my order, which totaled £32.57, I was asked to scan my new membership card using Apple Wallet. However, my experience quickly turned disappointing.
Upon requesting the bill, I was initially given only the card payment machine slip. When I asked for a full till receipt, the staff member seemed reluctant but eventually provided it. To my surprise, upon checking the receipt, I noticed that I had only been given a 10% discount on one slice of cake, rather than the entire order as promised in the loyalty scheme.
When I pointed this out, the lady serving me did not apologize or acknowledge the mistake. Instead, she simply looked at me, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. This lack of accountability left me feeling as though I had been misled, and it raised concerns about the integrity of their loyalty scheme.
While the monetary difference may seem small, the principle of honesty and transparency is important to me. If this is how they treat their customers, it raises questions about their business practices. I believe it’s important to raise awareness for new customers, as this experience felt like a scam to me.
Unfortunately, due to this dishonest treatment, I will not be returning to Cake Box. I expect better customer service and fairness, especially when it comes to loyalty schemes that are meant to reward customers, not mislead them.
Had to meet my fam off an early international flight. Greggs was the perfect place to wait just at the point where passengers exit customs. Couldn't think of a better place to wait with a morning cup of coffee and a tuna sandwich.
The sandwich was a little too bready and not enough filling but the taste was okay.
It's an average Greggs but a seat at the counter facing the glass tunnels s far better than standing indefinitely waiting for your party.
I forgot to write a review and I just remembered as I was going through my wallet and saw the Jamie's Coffee Lounge review card. I went to Gatwick last year, I think it was August or September time. I had a nice pesto and mozzarella sandwich, I think, my mom had a coffee. Our staff that day were Kristina and Lucia, many thanks to them for a nice service and their positive attitude, very much appreciated. My sandwich was delicious and my mom enjoyed her coffee. All is good despite the prices, good old London haha.

Waited 20 minutes for the table I booked. Then another hour for food although the place was nearly empty. Then the wrong pizza was brought to one of us who had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct one and the pizzas were awful. Overpriced and over rated. Avoid.

This is the worst Greggs I’ve ever been too. The server, overcharged us, gave us the wrong product TWICE. Asked for vegan sausage rolls, got bacon and cheese thing, then repeated vegan sausage roll and got meat ones and then reiterated clearer vegan ones and pointed to them. Also, wasn’t busy. I work in hospitality management so I know what’s what.
Then, the server asked for help with the refund from Yas the supervisor. She was rude, aggressive and very unprofessional. We worked out what the refund was and tried to explain. Was shut down immediately. Then, had to process the refund in two transactions then charge us again.
Safe to say, awful customer service. Retraining definitely needed.
