Bought two tuna melt paninis. Watched as they put as many items into the oven as possible. Used the same tongs to handle meat and vegetable products. Due to overloading the oven my panini was cold in the middle and my husband was accidentally given a ham and cheese when he's pescatarian for a reason. Took time to ask your name, but called out drinks by describing each one once they were made. Why bother taking names? All the food was replaced, but you shouldn't have to tell people how to do their job. It should be basic food hygiene and allergy awareness with no excuses.

Two americanos, two chocolate twists, £14+. Twists were dry, either overcooked or been standing there for a day or more Coffee tasted more like instant than brewed. To be fair, I have probably only been to a Starbucks three or four times in fifty years and I think that each time it is because I think that they must be good because they are so popular. They are obviously well liked but not my idea of good value for money.

Wow. The worst flat white I've ever had. Period. Had to ask for another as it was just milk. Awful. Plus, their sneaky scammy up sell process is disgusting. Ask for a flat white, "is this size of OK for you?" (shows me a medium latte sized cup). "No thanks, a regular flat white... Did you just try to upsell me?" was my reply. She then apologises and tells me they are told to do that to every customer. Starbucks, is this your practice or just the manager at this outlet? Some manager training needed methinks. So, make sure you know what you want to order and don't be scammed. Actually, just go to thr other coffee chain 3 doors down. Awful awful awful. Starbucks, you should be ashamed.

Service at Starbucks Gatwick on 13/08/24** Dear Starbucks Gatwick Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received today, 13th August 2024, at your location. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to bring it to your attention. Around 3 PM, after placing my coffee order, I attempted to scan my Starbucks app to earn stars before paying. However, the staff member at the till informed me that I could only earn stars if I also paid through the app. This is incorrect, as the app clearly provides an option to scan for stars and pay separately. Despite my efforts to clarify this, the staff member insisted otherwise. This misunderstanding reflects poorly on the staff's knowledge and training. Additionally, I purchased a bottle of water that was labeled with a price of £2.50. However, I was charged £3.00 by the same staff member. When I pointed out the discrepancy, it was dismissed without any attempt to rectify the situation or acknowledge the error. This not only misleads customers but also undermines the trust we place in your establishment. Given that Starbucks at Gatwick serves a diverse group of travelers, it is crucial that your staff provide efficient and accurate service. I strongly recommend that the staff member at the till be retrained, if not disciplined, to ensure that such issues do not recur. Woman taking orders very rude & abrupt, asked for a white chocolate mocha with 3 pumps of white chocolate. To which she responded it comes with 3 pumps of white chocolate which I knew was incorrect. Sure enough I got it & it was wrong. Terrible customer service, go spend your money else where. Also can’t use your points & can’t gain points. Avoid!

Starbucks is not my favourite coffee house but I ended up in one due to lack of choice. As usual, Starbucks coffee tasted like mud, the hazelnut syrup they use is either expired or gone off. Service was extremely slow,nI don't think any of them know how to make a coffee or how to clean in order to ensure the coffe has not taken on any other flavour. They never fail to disappoint.

I can’t speak highly enough of Maurizio at Starbucks in Gatwick Airport South (the Starbucks that is the other side of the security area). My husband had a fall and Maurizio assisted him very kindly and expertly. My husband had a bad graze on the top of his head which was bleeding, and Maurizio administered excellent first aid and cleaned and dressed the wound. My husband and I were so grateful. And Maurizio was friendly, kind and caring. We can’t thank Starbucks enough for having a staff member so helpful. We then ordered Starbucks food for breakfast and enjoyed it very much. The coffee was very very good!👍😁 Altogether a VERY positive experience. Thank you Starbucks and a special Thank You to Maurizio. You are a great ambassador for Starbucks. Julie, from Australia

First time at a Starbucks believe it or not …. But Lady at the counter got my order wrong for my young son. When I went back to check and confirm it shouldn’t have had caramel, the staff member by the name of Andrea was ever so rude about it and unaccomodating, I was willing to reorder and pay for a new one, but her attitude was grossly unpleasant to the extent she ruined my entire mood and I had to throw away my coffee and go elsewhere. Starbucks please foster a more customer friendly policy and give Andrea some politeness training - she needs it

Visited the costa in the food court, overall experience was just disappointing felt like a waste of money and just a bad decision on my part. The customer service wasn’t the friendliest from the lady on the till but other staff members seemed more friendly. I ordered two small lattes, one caramel the other vanilla, the coffee was awful tasted burned and the vanilla late had no vanilla flavour whatsoever, it tasted worse than instant coffee and similar to garage machine coffee! £4.30 per coffee just was not worth at all! The cinnamon bun was pretty decent though. Perhaps try the another coffee shop or the Costa downstairs as it may be better quality and definitely a better atmosphere! The atmosphere was abit chaotic, layout not the best and the collection point was rather cramped. I will say the gentleman working in the overall food court, did a great job and keeping ontop of the leaving customers and clearing the tables during a busy time :)

I came in with my family and daughter last Saturday and ordered a large chai tea latte and my daughter had got a baby chino however it’s called, a Indian lady had messed my order up whilst speaking with an attitude and had sworn towards me and her employee with black hair and tattoos who looked like she was being bullied and uncomfortable. But the service from the girl with black hair was really nice and she kept apologising for her collages behaviour and foul language 2/5 for Costa the drink was really nice but service on the other hand was unprofessional and Disgraceful!!!!!!

I don’t know why there are so many negative comments on this bar? Although I never ate the 3 lads on the bar were very friendly, there is 3 largers on tap along with a cider. Very good prices for an airport hotel bar.

We were staying close by and had a look at this pub online. The listing stated that food is available. This is not the case. We were told that they no longer served food and they could order some in for us. We were told of another pub that sold food and headed that way instead. If you are looking for food, then this pub is not the place to go.

I visited this Costa about a week ago with my sister, who has a serious dairy allergy and is also gluten intolerant, which rules out oat milk from most mainstream brands too. My sister noticed that multiple orders are prepared simultaneously but none of the tins used to warm the milk were labelled and it would be incredibly easy to get them muddled up, with serious consequences for customers. When my sister asked the staff member if she was sure that she'd given her the right coffee with soya milk the woman was rude and dismissive and this was building on her visible irritation with my sister that I noticed while we were first placing the order. My sister never drank the coffee, it was too high risk. Had it been the wrong milk she could have been hospitalised. Dairy and gluten allergies are serious and customers with these concerns should be treated with care and respect and furthermore, Costa should implement procedures which give customers reassurance that mistakes won't be made and they should train staff to handle these situations with greater care and concern. I won't be using this costa branch ever again.
