Avoid McDonald’s Gatwick – An Absolute Disgrace to the Brand I have to say, McDonald’s at Gatwick is without a doubt the worst establishment I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with—both within the organisation and across its franchise network. After having previous difficulties visiting the store in person, I decided to give them another chance by ordering through a delivery service since I live relatively close by. What followed was nothing short of a disaster. Tracking the driver’s journey, I could see he was stuck waiting at the restaurant for nearly an hour—an appalling delay considering this is supposed to be “fast food.” When my order finally arrived, it was an absolute embarrassment. • Stone-cold chips—clearly left sitting out for ages. • A Big Mac that looked like it had been run over—completely mangled and falling apart. • Two McFlurrys—both melted to the point of being liquid slop. Let’s be clear: this wasn’t the delivery driver’s fault. He even mentioned that the manager of the store couldn’t care less when he raised concerns about the wait time and condition of the food. That says everything about the standards (or lack thereof) at this branch. The level of negligence and disrespect for customers here is absolutely shocking. How can a brand as big as McDonald’s allow this kind of blatant disregard for quality and service to tarnish its name? It’s an embarrassment to the franchise and a slap in the face to paying customers.

In 40 plus years that was the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Would have given 0 stars if I could. Used the drive through. At the collection window was told to park in a waiting bay but those were all full. Barriers in operation for the main car park so waited by the bays for a few minutes but eventually decided just to go round the drive thru again as there was no queue. 2nd stop at the collection window we were then told to go through the barriers and wait there as food still wasn’t ready. Food came after about 5 mins. No straws. No sauces either including some we’d paid extra for. Lad went back inside and returned but they didn’t have any of the sauces we’d paid 50p extra each for. Food was cold. Really really poor. Then, there was a massive queue to get out of the car park because some people’s tickets wouldn’t open the barriers so they were having to run into the store to get let out. This happened twice. Everyone was beeping. What should have been a quick 5 min grab and go ended up being 30 mins. Avoid at all costs.

The supervisor a blonde lady ( I don’t want put her name her ) was a mistake with my menu and the way she managed the things was inappropriate and people from the back the proper food without gloves, they touch everything with the hands. I don’t think it is normal. Please do something are many kids they love Mc Donald’s don’t let them to get il.

Food was good - However - TERRIBLE experience with MET Car Park services!! I forgot to validate my ticket when I drove up to the barrier. So I reversed and re-parked - went in and get my ticket validated at the tills (No clear instructions where or how this is done). Then exited the car park with my validated ticket! I broke no rules... I later receive a parking fine from MET Parking Services - I appealed this as I didn't exit the car park without a validated ticket and they have now rejected it! Day light robbery... Completely unfair from McDonalds third party carpark and definitely won't be going again due to this.

Not for the first time, disappointing. Ordered a delivery for the family as a bit of a treat. The burgers and chicken were cooked fine but all the chips in the meals were uncooked. Luckily we have an air frier and some salt at home...

To put it bluntly Yes it is that BAD!. Used to be called Chiana Peking & when it failed they rebranded it Mings. Greasy unpleasant food. zero manners from manager when things go wrong. Ordered a sweet & sour battered chicken, it to arrive with no Sweet & sour sauce? only to be told you have to pay for the sauce extra Yes Really!.

My partner ordered this last night and I had one slice. My partner and I have been up all night with sickness , diarrhoea and cold sweats. Thinking we had a bug but realised our sons are fine as they didn’t eat the pizza so more likely food poisoning. Haven’t been able to contact Anyone about this or to complain

I have been a loyal customer to China garden for years. I ordered a takeaway online to be delivered for my husbands birthday. It arrived 20mins late and by that time is was stone cold. I called the restaurant and they told me to bring it back. My husband and I both have had a couple of drinks and unable to drive. The lady I spoke to was not very friendly and said to me no return of food nothing she could do and unable to process a refund. So I put the phone down. £35.00 down the drain.

Visited the costa in the food court, overall experience was just disappointing felt like a waste of money and just a bad decision on my part. The customer service wasn’t the friendliest from the lady on the till but other staff members seemed more friendly. I ordered two small lattes, one caramel the other vanilla, the coffee was awful tasted burned and the vanilla late had no vanilla flavour whatsoever, it tasted worse than instant coffee and similar to garage machine coffee! £4.30 per coffee just was not worth at all! The cinnamon bun was pretty decent though. Perhaps try the another coffee shop or the Costa downstairs as it may be better quality and definitely a better atmosphere! The atmosphere was abit chaotic, layout not the best and the collection point was rather cramped. I will say the gentleman working in the overall food court, did a great job and keeping ontop of the leaving customers and clearing the tables during a busy time :)
