To put it bluntly Yes it is that BAD!. Used to be called Chiana Peking & when it failed they rebranded it Mings. Greasy unpleasant food. zero manners from manager when things go wrong. Ordered a sweet & sour battered chicken, it to arrive with no Sweet & sour sauce? only to be told you have to pay for the sauce extra Yes Really!.

Visited 15th December for friends 40th birthday. 22 meals pre booked several days before, we arrived at 7pm after 90 minutes about 8 starters had been served. After 2 hours we decided to leave. We might have been more sympathetic if there had been other people there but we were the only ones in the restaurant, Instead of apologising to us we were blamed as the restaurant had decided that people who had ordered chicken were to sit at one table, people who ordered duck at another etc, where as we actually wanted to sit with our friends and partners! 2 hours after arriving and still no food for the majority of guests and the birthday girl in tears we decided to leave. Bravo ‘Prezzo’ Crawley who took in 22 of us after a phone call at 9pm, gave us fabulous service and saved the day. My advice to anyone is to avoid ‘Mings’ at all costs.

WORST restaurant EVER...."MING"ER 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Pre-planned for a special evening celebrating my 40th!! Been planning this for 3 months... menus decided and restaurant made aware in advance. 22 of us rocked up looking forward to enjoying my special night!! WHAT A UTTER SHAM & DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Could not believe it... they wanted us to sit where they wanted, not where we wanted to sit.. how rude!! After 90mins - STILL NO FOOD!! NOBODY'ELSE in the restaurant..justus 22 peeps desperately hungry waiting. Finally after 2hrs some of us received our starters.. they kept trying to give a Vegetarian .a MEAT dish. The staff did not care or apologise & the "chef" couldn't give a monkeys.. with most of our group complaining & me sobbing.. we all left. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

What happened?????? No food for 2 hours????? Blaming and embarassing the hostess who lost a family member this week but was trying to celebrate her 40th birthday anyway. Breaking her down to tears. Disgusting response on site and the manager blames everyone but himself. 10 years of faithful business and this is how we are treated????

22 Booked in for a 40th Birthday. Starters took 2hrs to arrive. Wanted us to sit in a certain order to make it easier FOR them. Still waiting for starters to 2 and have chicken to a veggie! So bad that I have never in my life experienced something so bad. Chef/owner blamed uns for moving seats had the birthday gal in tears and wouldn’t apologise. Obviously more interested I. Filling their take away orders. Wouldn’t mind if the restaurant was busy but we were the only clientele. I would suggest anyone thinking about taking a group to really find somewhere else. Prezzo have come up top trumps for us at 9.30 and given us a table. Well done prezzo. Mings would be better called Mongs

Need to clean POO out of prawns was enough to put you off eating the rest of our meal .....YUK everything else beautiful but avoid any dishes with prawns in it

There was a party of four of us, having a meal prior to a visit to the theatre. Good food and friendly staff. Sizzling dishes are great. Not too expensive. This is also a favourite for the occasional take away.

Well what can I say.. what an absolute disappointment consider its recent change of management. The restaurant was empty with only 2 other tables seated when we entered. Initially being ignored by the waiter and then just told to sit wherever not even shown to a table! The menu looked good however the portions where tiny and the food quite bland and boring. The service was shocking, the waiter clearly didn’t want to be there or just wanted to go home.. he took forever to even serve us a drink, I felt insulted when given to bill to see a service charge! I think not with such awful service. I asked him to remove it in which he had a “strop” and threw the bill down on the till point.. Safe to say.. we won’t be returning.

The wife and I and our four children went in for dinner on Saturday night at 6.15pm, Whilst the food quality was very good the service was shockingly slow! Took ages to order and dishes took 35 minutes between them, The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and I couldn’t understand why it was so slow but the server informed me that it was because the take away downstairs was busy and that is why we were left waiting. It’s such a shame as it’s a nice place and the food quality was good, However we won’t be going back. We didn’t leave until 8.40pm! 2 hours 25 minutes for dinner for a family who were the second customers I believe of the day! Drinks where a little pricy as wel compared to some places. I was a bit put off by the dirty carpet on the steep stairs on the way up to the restaurant doesn’t give a good first impression when you go in.

Had eaten under previous owners and left it a couple of years due to poor service and quality of sit down experience or take away. I have met the new management team who seem nice and polite but must say food is okay but not top notch and I have the impression they feel the food is of a higher standard than actually offered. I personally like the food here but it can be hit and miss. Spent quite abit and no prawn crackers offered at all. Again this should be consistent. It’s all in the service and attention to detail that will make this large restaurant stand out in the future.

Visited 2 days ago as it's under new management. The restaurant was still the same decoration. The service is friendly and great, the food is so nice and tasty. My friends and I love this place now. Would definitely recommend to anyone who want to taste quality food and quality service.

Ok so my daughter(13) and i decided to eat here on friday and afterwards were both violently sick the whole weekend so im not really sure what i should be saying hopefully this will help...DONT EVER EAT HERE I WILL NEVER AGAIN!

Had a kebab from here late on a Friday night, the meat was fatty,tiny scraps, covered in grease or oil, no long bits at all, served in a paper bag. After a while I realised the oil had destroyed the bag and I was eating the bag, which seemed tastier than the meat…. It was simply horrible, avoid at all costs!

My wife went to Starbucks car park, Southgate Park, Stansted Airport to get a coffee as my flight got delayed. She parked at Starbucks car park for 26 min, but Starbucks was already closed that time. MET Parking services sent parking charge notice as she was not considered a customer as Starbucks was closed. The parking fee notice board clearly says 60 min free for customers. She did not know that once Starbucks closed, she had to pay from the minute she parked. Be careful, MET Parking Services must have raised millions from people simply displaying misleading information.

Food was good - However - TERRIBLE experience with MET Car Park services!! I forgot to validate my ticket when I drove up to the barrier. So I reversed and re-parked - went in and get my ticket validated at the tills (No clear instructions where or how this is done). Then exited the car park with my validated ticket! I broke no rules... I later receive a parking fine from MET Parking Services - I appealed this as I didn't exit the car park without a validated ticket and they have now rejected it! Day light robbery... Completely unfair from McDonalds third party carpark and definitely won't be going again due to this.

I ordered for my lunch break at work, I ordered 1.5 hours in advance an booked a delivery time as I only get 30mins for lunch. The restraunt accepted the order an verified the time slot. 5 mins before my lunch break they decided to cancel my order, leaving me working a 12 hour shift without food or time to make any other sort of order.... (they didn't even bother to call an give me a heads up), I only noticed the email once the time slot had actually passed, my food was late, a 3rd of my break already gone. So I was looking for the receipt so I could get the number to check where my food is an that's when I found the email informing me it's not coming 😔 I understand stuff happens but not to call an let me know 🤔 I think that's just awful way to treat customers who's bookings an money you already accepted, they did issue a refund but it's not the point here. Great idea, poorly executed. Inexperienced and disorganised staff. The ordering was seamless and the server very friendly and helpful. That was the only redeeming element of the experience. Waited 15 minutes for a shake to be made. Burger sat there for 10 minutes. When prompted, the server laughed and said the machine was playing up. It wasn’t. User error. Huge queues of people waiting for food that was ready. Replacing the current manager with extra napkins might improve the customer experience. Don’t bother.
