LB1 Restaurant & Bar in Crawley

Enjoyed double poached eggs on bloomer toast. Lots of space in the premises. Hot and tasty. Definitely return as prices good.

This is a wonderful place for a spot if lunch and to let the kids let off steam in the free yes FREE soft play area. Just had a jacket and a couple of coffees and really enjoyed it.

Went here for a girls night out, we have attended this venue a few times in the past. It was very quiet but that wasn't the problem, the problem was our drinks were taken away by staff. Every time we put our drinks on the table to go and have a dance they were swiftly taken by the bar staff. when we went to the bar and asked why? The reply was we thought you had left! Now I could understand this had the bar been full but there was about 15 people in there. They wouldnt replace the drinks so we had to buy another round......and yes the same thing happened again!!!!. Deffinately not returning!!!!

Went this morning for breakfast and waited over an hour for it, children’s soft play area is very good.

Easy to find, plenty of carpark spaces. Came early for breakie, was lovely seeing Kim again and as usual was a lovely breakfast and great friendly service. Has a little play area for very young children which is great for parents. Def will go back.

If u like paying for over priced drinks with rude staff this is the place for you. I'm you enjoy talking to staff and being ignored this is the place for you. Food meh, really no other words would make it better. U would never recommend this place, we all felt the staff where not interested in the customer or even doing their jobs correctly. Shame

It never fails to amaze me that establishments like LB1 Restaurant and Bar continue to stay in business. I say this because their drinks prices are a complete rip off, the food is mediocre and the staff are disinterested and appear to wish they were elsewhere. Would only recommend to somebody I didn't like. Avoid LB1 and go somewhere else.

Good location and parking, best night out in a long time. Good crowd and friendly staff would recommend for all ages young and not so young

We booked this venue at least a month before our visit for our work Christmas party. We paid a deposit as expected only to arrive on the day to be told our booking was made for the following evening not the day we had booked. We provided our receipt proving it was their mistake only to be confronted by angry members of staff. Not only were they argumentative and unhelpful but they took absolutely no responsibility for their mistake and were so so rude. They also then tried to place us in the cloakroom right by the doors baring in mind it was -3 outside with all the public walking through. They then went on to lie to us saying that even if we came the following evening we would be placed their as we were the smallest booking despite their being 11 of us and at least 3 smaller groups visiting. This was clearly not true and them just feeding us more lies. Obviously I cant comment on the food, not that I'm disappointed judging by other reviews from DIFFERENT groups visiting. To sum up, poor quality food, TERRIBLE service from RUDE staff. Definitely would not recommend especially larger groups! safe to say I'm not impressed.

Do not book your Christmas party here!!!!!!! I now know why there was a lack of party goers here last night having their CHRISTMAS PARTIES. Its an insult to serve such poor quality food for the money you charge. Cold meet of poor quality, frozen potatoes, frozen stuffing balls, raw pigs in blankets, hard undercooked vegetables, how long before you give someone food poisoning? What was served to us last night was appalling. Be ready for a major complaint re last nights fiasco.........Your management team ruined our night Management= only interested in filling your pockets quickly, there is only one way that can go. Unless your there to get hammered or laid, I would avoid this place

A great night out for a more mature crowd. I have been several times and found it to be friendly and good fun. Wouldn't chpose to eat here as its not what I think the place is about. Its more a party venue for those who want a dance without being surrounded by teenagers looking for a fight.

I have been to LB1 on numerous occasions, due to a lack of alternatives rather than a desire to go there, for dinners and drinks. The food is appalling, frozen, reheated rubbish. You can even see the owner thumbing through the frozen food catalogue and ordering food! It is also overpriced and invariably not hot enough. The price of drinks is ridiculous! It has now turned into a "weekend bar"; basically the bar gets packed with partygoers hell bent on getting drunk. There is always trouble every weekend, particularly in the car park after the bar has closed. Fights breaking out between men and women. Recently the police and firefighters had to be called at about 02:00 as someone had "torched" a car in the car park. The only recommendation I would give for this place is to avoid it at all costs.

Went here for the first time in February. Great selection of music which made the night. Drinks were a bit here and there.

Had a night out the other week and came back this week to celebrate my birthday. Looked after really well and was very reasonably priced. Def will be a regular.

A friendly venue with a more mature crowd for a club/bar. The music is old skool and good fun classics to keep uou dancing all night.

Looked at facebook and found out that comedy night finished at 22.00 and the after party starts from 22.00 to...

A few of us went here after being at a local pub in Crawley. A few of our mates were from Kent and were staying in Crawley for the night. They had never been to LB1 before and really enjoyed it, from the atmosphere to how quickly you get served at the bar. The music is ok. The door staff are always friendly and we would definitely go again. I think if you went here every week it would not be a novelty because the music is pretty much the same each time we have been and that's average about once a month. We have never eaten the food here, so we cannot comment.

Positives - fine for the occasional night of dancing to cheesy music, after quite a few drinks, if you are at an age where you look odd going out dancing! Negatives - the clientele tend to be ridiculously drunk and chavvy. The music is the exact same EVERY Friday. The dj has become complacent (lazy) and I pretty much know what's coming next! There are so many great tunes from the genre of music he plays, and yet it's exactly the same play list week after week. Peter Andre , mysterious girl aaaarrrggghh :-(

When I was told I was going to a nightclub after a very good, sophisticated meal in an up-market restaurant, my 50 something year old body wanted to collapse. However, to keep the peace, I went with the flow and found myself boogying on down and singing along to all the old dancefloor fillers that I loved so much way back when. The staff were friendly and we didn't consider the drinks too expensive. Entry was free and we had a good time. What more can a girl want?

Enjoyable evening, not so much of a club as a relaxed place to dance! Been a few times as local, usually the one driving so park at the NEW nearby car park at Southernhay Gardens EX1 1UN!

Mr Skeggs is a fantastic DJ Every Friday here. I been going to places he plays for years, This place used to serve mediocre food...they stopped serving food. Believe they are starting again soon...hope it is an improvement. Drinks a bit pricier than most pubs, but you do not pay to get in

Hired the VIP area for the Friday night 80s/90s night with DJ Gordon Skeggs - fantastic!!!!! Music & atmosphere brilliant, door staff helpful. Best place on a Friday night for great dancing with nice people, especially if you don't want to be right in the town centre. Can't wait for next Friday night!!

First of all they don't do food anymore more. Secondly they have this "local legend" on a Friday night Gordon Skeggs which is nothing special, it's iust nostalgic. And the clientele is very chavtastic but hey what do you expect from Crawley. Basicly all the people who think they are too old for a nightclub but still want the feel of a nightclub! sad, just sad!

I won't be going back, that's for sure. Very poor options on drinks, at the time we went only 2 were available on draft and unless you were a regular who got a glass, after about 8pm you had to drink out of a plastic glass, in my book that's discrimination unless maybe I look like a nearly 50 yr old hooligan !!!!

It was just ok nothing exciting. The selerction of food was limitedWe won't be going back there in any hurry!!

Our group of friends have been here on about 8 occasions on Fridays. Always the very best night out for the over 30s. Fantastic music and atmosphere. It really livens up after about 10 pm. Well worth a visit. Bring your dancing shoes though.

The place was dull and very disappointing. It was a Saturday night and only about 15 people there. No atmosphere, staff miserable...stay away is my advice

LB1 continues to be a great venue if your not in your twenties but still want a good night out. Gordon Skeggs resident DJ still plays a classic set that gets anyone on the floor dancing

We did our wedding reception here everybody was great and lovely :) the food was absolutle delicious :)

I called in and had to have a drink only as there were no menus about. Seems to be more of a bar than a restaurant.

Totally the wrong location, never seen it busy in the week. Shame, it wants to be so much more!

Food was way over priced and wouldn't even fill up a 5 year old. The 3 salad leaves were brown, and probably salvaged from someone else's plate!! One small broccoli floret and 2 new potatoes sliced in half are the kind of portions you can look forward to!Beware when buying drinks... The spirits are not the labels you would be expect to be served in a bar, they are cheap imported rubbish that are watered down.AVOID...... The Only star goes to the DJ

This place was the worst I've ever been to, we had our works Xmas do here there was no service the door bouncer showed us to our table! We had to go to the bar everytime we wanted a drink and didn't even get offered water at the table. The food was over microwaved rock hard tastless crap that I wouldn't feed my dog, though would b great to use as building material! Avoid like the plauge!

The smell of stale vomit was the first thing to hit me walking into this place. Then the shock of the price for a bottle of beer! Full of very drunk under age drinkers. Lifeless, soulless, overpriced, pretentious, pickup joint. Avoid at all costs! Never ever again.
