Troy Barbeque in Crawley

Had a kebab from here late on a Friday night, the meat was fatty,tiny scraps, covered in grease or oil, no long bits at all, served in a paper bag. After a while I realised the oil had destroyed the bag and I was eating the bag, which seemed tastier than the meat…. It was simply horrible, avoid at all costs!

Absolutely vile........ the burger was smothered in too much hot sauce that the bun was a soggy mess and the chips were even cold uncooked and soggy. When questioned them they said we dont give refunds. Not even a apology!! SO RUDE DO NOT GO HERE! And way over priced

I chose one seemed to be one of their specialities which was the Adana Kebab. It was a spicey minced meat placed on top of chopped pitta bread and covered in sauce and plenty of salad. It cost more than the basic kebabs you get in takeaways so by offering something different it stands out. I wanted an Indian across the road which had closed early this was a good substitute

Utterly poor service. Got home to find a tiny bit of salad on a £12 Large kebab. Spoke to owner and he said ‘that’s all you get’ when I pressed him he explained he’ll give me a bit more salad next time. Another lost customer who usually buys a kebab every week (and yes it has more salad than this one)

My partner grabbed me a slice of chocolate cake from here as I heard it was really good. Do not get it. Was soo dry had to throw it away as it was like stale.

Terrible service, ordered and waited over an hour, 15 minutes after delivery time, I had to call them for an update for them to say, they made an error with the delivery charge so will not deliver and tried to get more money before they would deliver - do not use this company

I had dinner with my friends at TROY Barbeque Restaurant, and we liked it because of: - Delicious food - Clean restaurant - Appropriate for small groups - Reasonable price -Location I gave it an average rating because this restaurant could be better if they added some helpful hints. ☺️🕊

Rubbish! My vegetarian burger was burnt how they can send this is beyond me! And they forget a few items also on my order never going here again

I accidentally chose collection instead of delivery without realising when I placed my order this time. After an hour and a half I called and asked if they knew where my delivery was. To which Musa replied by shouting and saying I chose collection and I was wasting his time, when I said there’s no need to be rude he continued to raise his voice and could not be reasoned with. I even asked why he keeps shouting, to which he said because I called him rude...I’m shocked and appalled at his unreasonable behaviour, will not be ordering here again.

Called up to order, then told to hurry up to tell address before anything was said, then told to not bother because of them only having one driver

If I could do lower than a 1 star I would! They were in a rush to take my order and then didn’t even take our details properly. They took an hour and a half to deliver. The driver rang and didn’t even have the address and was at a completely different place!! He then didn’t have the card machine so had to call and take it over the payment over the phone.... which is what I wanted to do in the first place!!!! When I rang up to find out where the order was they told me it was 5 mins away.... had to wait another half an hour before it arrived!! Would not use this company again!!!

These men treat women customers with disdain, they are extremely rude, patronizing and have an awful attitude towards customers. I have been tried to use different outlets in crawley and at each and every Troys Kebab or bbq, This has to rate the one of my worst customer service experiences ever. it is a shame that they have been allowed to expand in crawley. No matter how many bad reviews they get, they remain arrogantly rude, over priced and portions are small.

Poor customer service over the phone waited hour half for delivery delivery man was in total different location food arrived cold. Didn't offer anything told me I must wait 45 mins before he come back to collect the cold food and will only give me my money back once they have checked it. I used to use this a lot however they have gone down hill so much. I will not be using these again.

My wife just bought me kebab and chips and was charged an extra £2 for garlic mayo. £1 for sauce on kebab and another £1 for sauce on chips. What place charges for sauce?? The lamb was a bit chewy and not worth the money even without the extra sauce charge. Will never go back her again.

We are regular customers of troy barbeque but over time they have got worse. They keep forgetting items from our delivery and have been delivering like this for weeks. They don't offer anything in return from messing up the order but it is their mistake.

My favourite place for fresh chicken shish kebabs with rice! Always cheers me up! Seating is also available and the staff are very friendly

Ordered a meat platter and was a little bit disappointed. Quite pricy and really nothing special. Not sure I would recommend...

I visited Troy Barbeque today and got usual take out Lamb Doner and all the trimmings with their superb chilli sauce and my partner had the usual Chicken Doner again perfect in flavours and well worth to being naughty with so many calories on the plate but no guilt when eating,just comfort food at its best.

Came here to get a quick bite to eat prior to going home as I had done it before and waited for almost 5 minutes with every meme we of staff coming out to the counter and just looked at me rather than taking my order waste of time don’t go here!!!!!

"B***ard", "B**ch" and "C*nt" are seldom the words you hear from staff members of an established eatery. Unfortunately, this place excels at shocking the norm. Despicable staff members whom attack the clientele appear to be the norm here. I would like to discourage anyone and everyone who may think this may be the right place to enter in order to get standard "kebab shop food" from doing so, as the staff seem to have no obligation to service or quality. Disgusting is the only word I can utter, as would many others who are unfortunate enough to eat here.

Warning: do not visit this restaurant. This restaurant recently transported donor kebab meat in the back of a hot car, with no protection against flies. Food hygiene is terrible at this restaurant. Don't go to Troy BBQ.

I visit this place regularly.. The food is very well cooked. and they have many options..

We live in lingfield. We go to crawley for shopping and something to eat together. After shopping This is our third time we (me, my wife and two children) went this kebab shop. For the first two visits we found the food was reasonable but the staffs were not friendly, it seems someone forced them to do the job (cloudy and unwelcoming appearance). Every time we chose the family meal which is about£22.5, but the package meal portion size is small according the price. However, we went there only the reason that they are to provide the Halal food. That is why, we did not mind their attitude at least we are able to have some Halal food in the heart of Crawley. But this time it became worsen, the staff were so rude which was beyond our imagination, very upsetting lunch again. Now we decide -will never go back this shop again.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever ordered food from!!! I've ordered food from here more than 10 times now and only because my family like the food!! costumer service is terrible!! Very rude on the phone, always takes more than 1 hours to deliver, tonight they sent a wrong order to me, I called and politely asked them if they can send the right order as I was charged for it! He said do not touch the food I sent you and I will send another one! after 1 hour again they sent another food and again it was wrong and found hair in it!! they charged me for 3 kebab's and only sent one back!! This is recidivous and I will make sure to complain and take this further as this is not how a restaurant should give service to a regular costumer which I will make sure is the last time I will order from here.

He ido dos veces, la 1° pedimos charcoal ... y pensamos que era poco para dos personas. La 2° pedimos lo mismo y eran tremendo los platos.hay opcion de pedirlo con arroz o con patatas fritas y no recomendaron pedir 1 con patatas y otro con arroz.La 1° vez el plato con arroz y nos sirvio el chacoal con patatas fritas y el arroz aparte, por supuesto nos lo cobro.Otra vez que vayamos miraremos quien esta en la barra.

Decided to give this place a try as we felt like a kebab and they delivered. Customer service wasn't great and very rushed but they got the order correct which was good. Arrived within 45 minutes as estimated when ordered. Plenty of food. Food quality was good, no issues. Kebab was nice, chips where fine. Price was prob a tad more than I've paid in the past but overall it was good. Would have had 5 stars if the service was improved. Overall very good and will use again.

I've travelled far for a doner and have to say this is the best around...even better than kismet. I remember this place started off with a small shop in the alley across the road

We're do I start place an order then it took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive the order was wrong ended up paying £20 for a small donner kebab and chips and a small chicken shish that were so cold that even my 8 year old son wouldn't eat so phoned them and the guy was so rude and arrogant IV never ever had such a bad experience with a take away I will never ever go back

mainly people go there to eat lots after clubbing, at day time is way less busy, but doesn't look cosy in a light. staff are friendly, explain about the deals or ingredients, patiently listens to the requests, prices are not very low but mid range

If your ever in Crawley this is a nice place to try Food is always lovely, guys there are friendly Delivery times are quick, would recommend definitely

Very very expensive, greasy over cooked slop, 37 quid and most of its in the bin. Avoid at all costs.

i ordered bbq fish and it is the best south aisa fish dinner set i've ever had! miss the fish and delicious rice so much. their price is basically similar but the food is much nicer. didn't try burgers or kababs i will stick with fish again! the service is ok.
