We came in for dinner before the cinema as a group for a friends birthday. Food was lovely and Cristina was a great waitress and made us feel very welcome.
On approaching the restaurant walked past 3 kitchen staff smoking sitting on the grit bins. Booked table online as thought maybe busy but was surprised to find it quite quiet, took ten minutes to get the attention of the waitress to order our drinks and food and then another 50minutes for me to ask and point out that our food was waiting on the serving hatch for the last 5minutes. And then waited an age for us to be offered the desert menus to de the staff then clearing a table that had been left for an hour. The salad bar was poor and half empty and hearing families being told it would be an hour and half for a table when there was only a max of 4 tables with people eating didn’t seem right.
On speaking to a staff member was told it was because they have been taken over by the hawth and half the staff have been sacked and the the rest have been cut right back so was only two serving staff on shift.
Paid nearly £10 for a prawn mayo jacket potato and my daughter had tuna, there was no butter inside the potato and none offered and no side salad, the staff all looked like they were chewing wasps, no hellos just grunts, we won't be eating here again, the food was dry and taste less
Quick trip to UK. Nice enough food for a massive intl. hotel chain based in an airport terminal, but there was an exceptional waiter called RAJ who absolutely rocked it. Worked his arse off and really needs some recognition. Well done!
Cannot comment on the venue as we had delivery.
Delivery review:
Website easy to use, but not most clear. For example, when ordering battered chicken balls, it doesn't say that it comes with sweet and sour sauce. We ordered extra as a side just in case. (Not a problem though as we will use it, just an added expense we didn't need.)
Comments to chef box is redundant. We put "No mushrooms please." and a dish had mushrooms which was disappointing. My husband is intolerant and they make him very ill, so he couldn't have any of that dish.
Portion sizes are smaller than our usual Chinese, and more expensive. We thought we would try a new place but yeah, wish we had stuck to our regular.
Tracker on delivery is unclear, not a true tracker. It has progress bar, that goes from order accepted, cooking, being delivered, complete. It reached the complete stage and we started to worry our food had been delivered to the wrong address. Turns out it was just delayed due to Valentine's. (Expected, but the phoney tracker like thing on the page tricked us.) Took 45 minutes longer than the expected delivery time. (Again, we expected this so not missing starts due to this. Valentine's is busy.)
First time visiting, never again! Arrived at 6pm, waited over an hour to be seated, Used the online app to order, only to find out that it was not working and staff were aware of that fact. did not see fit to tell us before more time was wasted. Then had to queue to place order. Food, mediocre at best arrived at gone 7.30 minus one item that was forgotten. Fantastic service, NOT. Thanks Nandos for an unforgettable birthday treat.

Almost inedible. Chicken burger filled with cold chicken. Should have sent it back but couldn’t be bothered. On the plus side the service and glass of wine were okay.
Over £4 for a latte that had zero taste, was given to me immediately so wasn't freshly made, and tasted like the milk was watered down (I use semi skimmed at home so it's not that). Threw it away
I come here for the best lasagne around! The breakfasts are good too, the staff are friendly, the place is clean and it gets busy, always a good sign. I’ve brought veggie and vegan friends, too, and there are dishes to suit them as well. It’s a great place to eat on your way to Gatwick airport.
I ordered jeera chicken wings and they came out as tandoori wings in a tomato sauce, absolutely shocking. Tasted nothing like it was meant to and I cannot believe someone thought this is acceptable. Wrongens. Kebabs, mediocre. Bajias were tasteless. Safe to say, I won’t be eating here in a rush!
I ordered through uber eats for myself and my boyfriend. I put that I am allergic to gluten and checked the menu and ordered the things that said were safe. They then called up to say certain side items contained gluten but the lamb pasanda (my main) was gluten free. I said to remove the sides. The food came and they left off the pasanda and told the driver to pass on the message. They gave me extra drinks. So all I got was a pilau rice to eat. We then called the restaurant and asked for anything else they can make me to eat, in which they said no as they are busy. I’m so sad and I’ve eaten there for years and always been my favourite but guess I won’t be eating there again. Happy Valentine’s Day! Hahah
