This was our regular drinking and eating place. It then closed at short notice and told we would not be welcome anymore unless we were a guest at Premier inn ?? Premier inn website states quite clearly that non guests can use there restaurant and bar. So why are we refused entrance ??

I’ve booked and have breakfast here regularly and so know the booking system well but something went wrong and it booked me for the wrong date and even though the staff know that I’m regular I didn’t even have to give them my name. They wouldn’t help me out and let me have breakfast with my whole family, so I will be looking for somewhere else for my regular breakfast slot now and they probably lost my custom really disappointed

We went because of a 33% off food voucher, but the quality degradation had continued with staff shortages reducing the menu availability. The Smothered Platter I had proposed for my companion was one of the meals unavailable. She pointed out that the Value Menu would be cheaper than the 33% off if I was having the Smothered Chicken and she Scampi. Unfortunately the Gammon Steak she had was tough and mostly inedible by the time she'd trimmed the side fat off.

We came here for breakfast a few months ago and unfortunately the experience was not that good, but I am more than happy now to say that the experience has changed 100%. The staff are very friendly and the food and selection are excellent, and absolutely great value, thank you, we have now got another breakfast booked for 16 of us.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn at and had a disappointing experience at the onsite Brewers Fayre. On our first night, we felt rushed to leave even though the bar was supposed to be open until 10 pm. The next night, we returned late and tried to get drinks for our room at 9:25 pm but were told the bar was closed. These experiences left us feeling unwelcome and put a damper on our stay. I hope management looks into this so future guests don’t have the same experience.

Breakfast was absolutely brilliant..... staff were friendly and attentive, very polite meeting all needs. We were served by Natalie and Abbey. All the choices of food were there including the hot breakfast good choices. We will be returning thankyou to the staff you made are morning start a good one !

Highly recommended, great service from Abby and Natalie, always so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant has a deal with Premier Inn and the breakfast and dinner package is well worth the price. The food is the the kind of fayre you might expect from this style of restaurant and it was fresh and wholesome. The timing of the food delivery was definitely geared to the needs of the individual and The progress of the meal was discreetly monitored. The serving staff were a little rough around the edges and when my starter was brought I asked about cutlery. The girl bringing the food simply replied “ they are in a basket on the bar”, and at that point, she walked off. I was quite shocked by her lack of people skills. This reviewer, however, was delighted when Tom came into the picture. He was much more mature and his commitment to service excellence was very clear. He was chatty and interested in knowing how the meal was going, and he came back a little later to see if I would like an extra jug of gravy to go on my beef and ale pie. This made a huge difference to my visit experience, and I have awarded two additional stars solely based on tom’s effort and commitment.

Jamie and Charley made sure we had a wonderful breakfast, keeping all the buffet and drinks thoroughly stocked. Fantastic English breakfast buffet. Would definitely go again.

Wow what can I say had a lovely breakfast here today with my two children and the poached eggs were spot on . Also like to say a massive thank you to Helen our server who was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us and helped with all my daughters dietary needs . I may add was a very busy breakfast and the lady smashed it whilst on her own .

Service was excellent, atmosphere very relaxed. Lots of groups of friends using it as a meeting place, clearly not the first time they had visited.

I visited the Brewers Fayre / Goffs Park Hotel for lunch today with my daughter. The restaurant was very busy as they do a carvery on a Sunday which is popular but we were still seated straight away and served quickly and efficiently at the bar by Jaimie. Despite there being a bit of a queue she was polite, friendly and chatty with all the customers and made us feel welcome. The food was brought out surprisingly quickly by Helen who was rushed off her feet but was still smiling and friendly and looking after everyone in the restaurant. The fish pie I had was lovely and the nicest I’ve eaten. I’ve had a lot more expensive ones in other restaurants that didn’t have half the amount of fish this one had. My daughter had a cheese and bacon burger with chips that she enjoyed but commented that the burger could’ve been slightly hotter. We agreed that this could be because the lettuce and tomato were fresh and hence cold which might have made the actual burger not so hot. The chips were nice and hot though. We ordered desserts at the bar and were again served by Jaimie who was joined by Louis, one of the managers. We were lucky to have had a 40% discount code for the food and Louis helped process this and also brought our desserts out within 10 minutes of ordering. All in all the experience was a very positive one with reasonably priced food that was cooked well and tasted lovely and great customer service from a very friendly and helpful team. Apparently Callum was in the kitchen cooking today so thanks to him for a lovely meal and Tomasz was doing the carvery which also looked very appealing. We will definitely be back.

Went with my two kids for breakfast.It was so delicious and kids really enjoyed it and the outside play area. It’s really worth for the price of the all 3 of us plus with the savoury buffet(the pancakes where nice because not every places do pancakes ) and the full English buffet. The girl who is called Kristal, the staff was really friendly, polite and very helpful and she made sure we were happy with the food. The girl Jamie, gave me my vegan sausages when they didn’t have them out so she was very helpful to cook them at that time when the restaurant was busy. It’s really affordable and nice treat for kids definitely going there so often.

Have been here several times (not my choice) and every time service has been rubbish. Bearing in mind you have to order at the bar, so in theory all the staff have to do is deliver the food… you have to get the cutlery, pepper...

I had an amazing service today at Goffs Park Brewers Fayre by Helen. I went as a treat with my nan for my 21st birthday and I couldn’t fault the service. Helen stated that she doesn’t usually work the bar but yet she still made me cocktails to perfection and always had a smile when serving. Even though they were clearly short staffed Helen made sure that she completed things in order to not keep customers waiting which kept everyone else smiling too. She made sure that my birthday meal voucher was used on the meal I ordered and even added a requested which the chefs completed and made me feel that extra bit special. I would recommend to anyone having a birthday to celebrate it here the staff are all lovely and make you feel special no matter how old you are.

Came for breakfast on Monday which was delicious and so much variety. Even managed to get my fussy toddler to eat something! We were served by Abi & Emma and as usual the service was fab. We come here quite often due to value for money and it being a kid friendly place and always have a good experience!

I didn’t read the reviews before we came in this case as a last minute thing, in the right location. We were greeted with a smile and a cheery attitude by Troy at the bar and seated quickly. Our order was taken and drinks dispensed, no problem. We had starters, main course and deserts. The food was hot tasty and well prepared, what more could we ask for. We were served by kristal, who came across as bubbly and attentive, without being intrusive. Breakfast was also eaten here, a good old full English with toast and coffee. A great evening catching up with friends. Despite a few items missing from the menu, there was still plenty to choose from and something for all tastes. I had a prawn cocktail which was delicious. Everyone else in the group was happy with their food...
