Charlies Breakfast and Burger Van in Crawley

The BEST takeaway in Crawley. For years, I've always been a bit of a food snob and would never eat from burgers vans until I went for the first time on Monday. I had the best bacon sandwich with hashbrown I've ever eaten in my life. It was so good that I've eaten 3 sandwiches in the past 48 hours. Really can not fault it! Also, my friend always orders the chicken burger and says its one of her favourites in Crawley.

Worst fry up I’ve ever had, bacon, sausage and mushroom all re heated, staff so unwelcoming and miserable, I know it’s a Monday but make an effort!!

I was really looking forward to my chicken burger and chips arriving. I have absolutely no idea what they put all over the chips, it certainly wasn’t salt. Whatever it was totally ruined the whole thing and it’s now in the bin. Won’t be getting anything from there again

Went there 8 o’clock today in the morning worst Attitude no I contact ordered my stuff called me over got the order completely wrong so waited again called me over again and got my order completely wrong again swore at me so I left absolutely disgusted

The best burgers and breakfast selection - whether you are after a night out or just fancy something nice. The most friendly man and always a great service and chat. The food is amazing and for all the chips lovers - the secret seasonings takes the chips to another level. And it's 247.

I called at the said van on a walk with my dog I ordered a cheeseburger £3.80, a coffee £1.80 that was fine but was not expecting when I asked for a plain sausage on its own for my dog to be charged £4.00 that is a disgrace I can only presume he is not an animal lover will never use again out of principal.

Great day and night out at the snooty fox across the road, surprised to find anywhere open after they kicked out. But honestly the best nuggets I've ever had. amazing customer service, really friendly

Got off the train at 4am and straight over for some lovely food after a night out in london. Chips were amazing and the guy was nice.

Just had a bacon roll and a coffee service is great and was looked after very well I will be back again soon

What a find this place is. Absolute belter of a chilli cheese burger. Can’t wait to return, really hit the spot.

Food was well over done and burnt that’s the only thing you could taste and very over priced wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless they have no taste buds and deep pockets

Used to use these every week then their scoot burger went up from £8 to £14 odd. Daylight robbery. With covid I expect a small increase but they are taking the p**s. Breakfasts are now among the most expensive in Crawley and it’s only a grubby burger van. Won’t use ever again and advise all to avoid. Rip off merchants.

Love visiting Charlie’s van, always a nice chat, amazing freshly prepared food for a reasonable price. Would def. recommend!

I’m sure after a few beers at 2 in the morning Charlie’s might be a lifesaver. But I had a bacon and egg sandwich and a cuppa at 10 on a Friday morning while working, I was surprised that it cost nearly 6 quid for a bog standard sandwich on supermarket sliced bread What even more pissed me off I had the two measly pieces of bacon in my sandwich, even though he did cook three then decided not put it in, instead saved it for the next customer. Certainly wouldn’t recommend. Sorry Charlie’s I know you’ve been there years.

Charlie did a great job helping us out with life saving cheesy chips at early hours of the morning! Great food great service and great portaloo.

No One Could Ever Say A Bad Word About This Place. The Food Is Exceptional But The Main Thing Is The Staff Second To None. The Best Van Ever

Always open and tasty food. I love their chilli cheeseburger. Bacon baguette at 4am if suffering from insomnia! All the staff are friendly and like to chat. Parking is easy too, which is surprising considering how busy Three Bridges Station is most of the time.

Have been coming here for years (back when it was the old black van). Never disappointed. All food cooked fresh to order and served with a smile. Always happy to chat and always happy

Charlies burger van is open 24 hours a day, every single day and he ALWAYS welcomes his customers with a big smile and conversation. Couldn’t recommended him more! If you’re ever in Three Bridges definitely try him out, the food is always cooked to perfection and great value for money! Thankyou for saving my hunger at all times, especially in the early hours of the morning!

as i have had tried out charlies for the lost count time amazing great for grabbing some food for return home and eat on the train

Been eating from Charlies for a few years and its always been great. We've only ever had the bacon cheese burgers and they're fantastic. The food is prepared freshly. Would highly recommend trying this little gem of Crawley.

We went all out and opted for the Scooby Burger. It was amazingly tasty and all cooked fresh to order. Great customer service while we waited. Really lovely guy and wonderful food, we will be back

The chef/burger-maker/griller was great; friendly and efficient. And the burger I had was the best and most satisfying burger I’d had in a long, long time. And as it's open 24hrs a day, for a midnight snack it really can't be beat.

Got of train at 2300 hrs, starving glad to see this van, the three of us all had burgers which were hot and cooked well.

From bacon baguettes to full breakfast, Charlie's always does a great job. Everything cooked to order and you get it the way you asked which in many places is always a problem. I believe his burgers are a legend but am yet to try one.
