Took them almost an hour and a half to serve the food after they have served the starter which was bland chicken wings and gambas. No follow up or whatso ever it just took them that long to serve the food. Ridiculous!!!
Enjoyed a great lunch at the Earl of March. The service could not have been warmer or more welcoming, and the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Added to that was a wonderful selection of home-baked breads available to buy. Wish we lived closer!

have never been to the restaurant in person however i have ordered from them a couple times. and ordering food last night which was perfectly fine up until i discovered that there was a long dark hair in my mouth from the dish and later on finding another 2 in a completely separate dish box that arrived. this is absolutely disgraceful and put me and my family off eating. when calling the restaurant to tell them what was in the food they told us they would refund us and did not and just ended up apologising. however this is simply not good enough and shouldn’t have been sent out to my house in the first place i was expecting better customer service as i have previously ordered from them but just a shocking performance from this restaurant. overall horrible experience. don’t recommend only order if you want to be traumatised.
Used to come here all the time and stopped for a while. The cafe is great, but after visiting again with my son about 2 weeks ago and having to get a few bits, the two women at the counter were rude and looked at me in disgust when I tried talking to them. Will not be using them again due to staff, which is a shame as its a great place otherwise.
My wife, mother in law and I visited 16th February to celebrate my wife's birthday.
Staff were very good, friendly and welcoming.
We all had the carvery, this was underwhelming to say the least, vegetables very under cooked, parsnips were soggy, 2 slices of very very thinly cut meat and the gravy was very watery but the roast potatoes were good.
My wife had half cola, I had a pint of cola, my mother in law had glass of water, we all had a sweet, which was very nice and tasty. At just over £90 (with the service charge) this was not value for money.
