We went for a bottomless brunch on Saturday 15/03 for a friend's birthday. We had great service, food and drinks. The staff were great! Marley, Sofia, joe & Michael ( i think). Very good value I highly recommend.

Fantastic bottomless brunch, food was fantastic, drinks were flowing and the team were brilliant. Had many bottomless brunches and this was one of the best. We will be back. Big thank you to Marley, Sofia, Michael and Joe for looking after us all.

The atmosphere of chantry is what you’d expect from a social bar, never loud until they blast the music at 9, the food has either a lot of effort put into it or it’s really bad and is always out in 10-20 minutes from what I’ve experienced, pool tables could be better but it is what it is, chantry itself looks very nice would recommend if you’re going for a drink maybe not the food

6 of us went to bottomless brunch at the weekend. We had great service from Joe our server he was friendly, and got our drinks out quickly. Food was really nice. We had a little mix up with one of the meals, but it was sorted quickly and with no hassle. All the staff were friendly, would definitely recommend bottomless brunch here. Can’t wait to come back.

Very rude service from the waitress at the bar who took our order. We didn't want to finish our drinks as we just wanted to leave! Probably a suitable place for under 18's with a fake ID. We visit many places for a drink after a day's walking, and we have never wanted to leave a negative review until now. Had a better experience in the Spoons around the corner.. so if you're wondering where to spend the end of your day, don't choose this place!

Unfortunately I was greeted by a rude waitress at the bar. She didn't even know cherry coke existed. Ultimately, she was rude to the extent I had to walk away. Place is a dirt bag.

had a good time when i visited, however had a bad experience with a member of staff, sophia, who wasn’t pleasant when serving me, and i noticed her, shouting and harassing other members of staff behind the bar.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon with 4 adults and 6 kids. Kids got to watch the football and eat and we got some yummy cocktails and food. The brand new menu was explained to us by the wonderful Joe! Lots of veggie options!

Came in to try the new food menu, the chef, Fred did an incredible job and talked us through the the sauces and ingredients. The new food is INSANE

Great place to go for cheap drinks and a good night out, Joe showed us the student deals which make the place a must visit!

I popped in for a quick beer and food and I was served by a lovely gentleman. I believe his was marley he was very nice and attentive I was the served my food by a lady called tash and she too was very professional and nice. Could not of asked for more well done to them.

We went here for my 40th birthday and sadly had a very bad experience, The food was awful. Service was slow but then picked up, had two nice waiters but sadly upon a request for a manager to deal with the poor state of food we were then presented with what I can only assume as a manager in training as he was very rude to us, laughed in our faces and told us he was gonna call the police. I believe his name is Marley, he even had the audacity to slag off his paying customers, as we were at the till. Can only thank another member of staff he sent over to do his job, who took the food off the bill and we paid for our drinks. Very sad that we had to deal with a very unprofessional ‘manager’ who clearly needs some more training!

Please can you advise how you can justify charging £7.70 for a pint of Peroni, when other bars close by are only £6/6.50 on average? This is heavily inflated and some bars/pubs in London don’t even charge this much.

Visited on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. Brilliant for watching live sport but drinks a little pricey (£7.25 for a pint)

Ordered a takeaway from a place called pizza amore which is within the chantry. Pizza was burnt, part of order missing and chicken wing had a black hair/thread in it and whole order stone cold. Contacted restaurant and palmed off non stop no apology or anything. Don’t waste your time or money, it’s awful and they don’t care

The Chantry has been upgraded from what you used to know and now a classy and elegant Pub and Bar.

We went there for one of your bottomless brunch. But we waited over 45minutes for our order which was one pizza why would it take so long. But the bar lady was lovely and welcoming.

We had amara as our server and she was wonderful. So polite and made us feel very welcome!!

Lewis R was my bartender. He served us some delicious cocktails and was delightfully funny. 10/10 would come back.

Lovely place, great atmosphere. Everyone was lovely but one member of staff really stood out and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and having a good time, I really appreciate everything he did for me and how well he took care of me, it was a wonderful young man called Lewis who was on the bar. So caring and does his job so well and actually cares for the customers which is so nice and refreshing to see.

Such a lovely location with an amazing atmosphere, I was served by a bartender called Lewis and he was great staff member to chat with. Whilst I didn’t have any food I can say it’s a great place to drink and the staff are very friendly :)

The member of staff called Lewis was so kind and accommodating to me and my friends as someone who's neurodivergent and struggles with loud atmospheres and going out, he helped me with any questions I had about the drinks available and truelly made the place a safe space for me.

Always a great time at the chantry & a good atmosphere in the evenings!, lady on the bar (Amara) always serves with a smile and does a great job.

Incredible service: there was a very large group of us and the service was fab (esp Lauren and a young person with an undercut (don’t know their name)), they went above and beyond making sure we are all good. The food was probably some of the best food i’ve had in years and atmosphere and as great.

We had the £6.00 per head lunch special. I had pepperoni pizza which was a generous size. My much better half had the burger and fries which came with dips. Really filling, very tasty and very prompt service. I am disabled and it was a relief they have a proper disability loo. Well done, we will recommend and definitely be back.

We visited The Chantry midweek, the bar staff were welcoming and friendly. The food however, was horrendous. Not only was the food quality extremely poor, the chef had also ran out of halloumi and decided a handful of extra chips was a fair substitute! Nice enough place for a drink. I would strongly recommend eating elsewhere beforehand.

Went to The Chantry for a bottomless lunch with a few other ladies. All of the staff could not have been more helpful. Not once were we kept waiting to have another cocktail. The only slight thing is the burgers could have been better quality but it was cooked well. They are closing for 2 weeks so some food items are not available bit didn't affect us.

Long wait, overpriced cocktails that weren't that good and it was very loud. We couldn't understand each other. Women's toilets were dirty and clogged, al 4 of them. And in the mens restroom the locks didn't work. Not a fun experience. Never coming back.

Bottomless brunch is great here. I have been to others but this one is still my fave.

Joe was AMAZING!! We came on a Tuesday afternoon as 4 teachers on our half term break. Joe was attentive, creative and put so much time and effort into making our afternoon amazing on a wet and rainy day. We would 100% come back again. Thank you Joe!

Harrison was absolutely brilliant! We came for Bottomless brunch for my Hen-do and we were never left with out a drink. The service was amazing and he came and took orders as soon as he saw drinks going. He was polite and so was everyone else who was working. Was the most amazing day!!! Had a bottomless brunch and Harrison served us along with lauren. They were incredible and couldn’t have asked for anymore. The food was delicious and best service we’ve ever had! We will be back but will make sure it’s when Harrison and lauren are working!

Always a good atmosphere with friendly staff, especially Harrison who is always welcoming with a smile. Food is good here too with a broad selection.

Outstanding bar staff! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued. The service was prompt, and the staff's knowledge of drinks was impressive. Credit to Cara who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was great, making it the perfect spot to watch the football and for a night out. Highly recommended!

I have been here so many times for the bottomless brunch…this is 100% the place to go! They have a new menu which is incredible and ask for Joe and his espresso martinis….they will be the best you ever have! I would recommend to anyone x

Went to the chantry last night and ordered a pint, a single gin with lemonade and a lemonade by itself. First we got charged £29 which we paid! realising that it would mean on average a drink costing us around £10 which included a soft drink my boyfriend told the bar tender that it must be incorrect, we got a cash refund of £7. However this still means that we paid £22 for two alcoholic drinks and a soft drink. I see from a review that a pint is around £7 so I’m not sure how £15 can be for a single shot and two lemonades. The pint was warm and the other two drinks had more ice than drink. Unfortunately I feel like the staff are overcharging and pocketing the money, which if you’re drunk you wouldn’t notice and if you’re not a confrontational person you would just pay it. We used to go to the chantry all the time, but now it’s constantly dead/ empty, we left after 30 mins because with bars like tent around the corner it’s just not worth it.

Nice pub. The food was great but a bit pricey although the portion size was big. I had chipotle loaded fries and couldn't eat them all.

Food was okay but nothing special and rather expensive for what it was. Service was reasonably quick but it was incredibly quiet when we visited, which probably isn’t a good sign on a Friday evening. The table was absolutely disgusting, so sticky that I didn’t want to put anything down or touch it. Wouldn’t bother visiting again.

Incredible! Arranged a semi/private function and the team pulled through! A huge shout out to Scott, Michael and the 2 incredibly patient girls as what a night!! So friendly and great attitude to work smiles cost nothing and we could tell that this is driven throughout! Well done everyone and thank you from us all!

Walked in as a big party later in the evening, got greeted nicely by staff. We came just before kitchen was shut and we got served with a smile. When the food arrived, it was absolutely amazing! Pizzas, burgers, fish, chicken... everything spot on! We will definitely be back (a bit earlier next time)!

Not only was the food sublime, but the service was beyond reporoch. Lauren, our service provider, not only provided a perfect service but delicious food and drink. I look forward to my inevitable return.
