Always love coming here and bringing the dog. Came on Monday for lunch before a dog walk. Ate in one of the cabins as had the dog with us. Would you consider getting some form of heating into the cabins or making a small area of the tearoom dog-friendly? We froze!

This place is brilliant. Not only is it a garden centre but they have lots of different thing you can’t find anywhere else. Lots of Italian food delicacies that are far cheaper than other shops. There is also a Cook and similar. In fact you could probably come here for most of your weekly shop. The only place in The Uk like this is Trago Mills but this place though smaller is way way better.

Very disappointed in the café. We went about 3pm, on a Saturday. Got there and it wasn't busy, but heard a couple of people asking where their order was, but didn't think much of it. There were only about 3 tables taken when we got there, so we decided to stay. We placed our order, for 2 cakes, and 2 coffees and went and sat down. We could see lots of drinks being taken outside and into the huts, but didn't know what was going on in them. We weren't told that there would be a wait. After about half an hour, with no communication, we decided to cancel our order. When we left there was only 1 other table, who also went and cancelled. We definitely won't be back. The whole café was cold as well, and not helped by the staff leaving the door open every time they went out.

This is a lovely proper Garden Centre that are plantsmen. It covers a big site but is family owned and managed as far as I know. Their plants are lovely and good value for money. They have an excellent selection of sundries, tools , furniture and houseplants 😄. I would think everything you want for your garden. They have a lovely tearoom with again good value for money food. Fairly simple menu but caters for everyone and is very nicely cooked. I have to say too that all the staff in every area are really nice 👍🏻. Good customer service 😁. Dogs are welcome 🐾. Always a bonus for dog lovers. Large car park. There are ramps for any disabled folk and ofcourse toilets. Brilliant. Not only all of the above mentioned but there is also an excellent farm shop there too. Packed with goodies 😉. Aylings is located on the A 272 near Petersfield and is easily accessible. Congratulations to Aylings for a great place 👍🏻.

Staff very unhelpful and unfriendly. Everything seemed to much trouble, even when I asked for ketchup for my daughters chips and milk for my coffee, which never came. Waitress rolled eyes and huffed a lot. Such a shame as food was lovely. Cafe staff could benefit from customer service training.

We ordered from a girl who seemed not very interested . Waited and waited for coffee and tea then went up to ask how long it would be and we’re told she had forgotten. So then our food came out but no cutlery. Waitress came back with drinks but still no cutlery. So she then went to get the cutlery but there want any spoons in the box so had to ask the washer up for a spoon. By this time my soup was only luke warm and my warm roll was never warm in the first place. Only 11 customers and 4 staff. How can the service be so bad.

We called in on Saturday 20th August ordered and paid then went to the table, we waited, waited, waited and waited some more! Other tables were being served even people who came in after us so after I saw the young lads have a cuppa and go through the kitchen area I realised Hey we have been forgotten I then asked one of the lads if we had been forgotten? he replied well have you ordered and paid to which I replied yes and then asked if I had ordered from him ....I said no the and pointed out the other lad had taken the order.... I then took the receipt from my purse and showed him we eventually did receive our order. When this café first opened it was an absolutely lovely place to visit and have lunch. However since re-opening after Covid and seeing the way things are handled ....and I mean handled.... we will not be visiting again!

The centre has excellent Covid procedures which is always reassuring and everything was very clean, including the toilets. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and we found a shady spot on a very hot morning. The breakfast was generous and tasty; good coffee. All made even better by the fact that Aylings is part of the 'Eat out to help out' initiative. Locals, you need to make a beeline here!

Stopped here for lunch it was very empty which should of been a giveaway for what was to come, ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and a ploughman’s, now the cheeseburger meal was fine arrived with chunky chips that were well cooked and side salad, however came on a cold plate but all good, the problem was the ploughmans which was described as coming with a warm baguette, now the baguette was one of those tiny part baked ones you buy in packs of six in the supermarket just 1, the slice of cheese was bigger than the “baguette “, there was also a slice of ham and brie an salad with butter in pre wrapped pack, as the waiter put the plates down he said be careful the plates hot, well it was the butter melted on the plate and the cheese was going gooey on one side!!!!!, the chance of saying anything isn’t worth it as due to there social distancing rules you’ve already paid and they are off out the way no one returns to check all is ok you are left alone, looking over at another table who had sandwiches there plates were full so if you stop here don’t waste your money on a ploughman’s , you get a better meal in a sandwich at 1/2 the cost.....and no we wouldn’t go again

Good menu to suit all tastes from just tea and cakes to nice hot food. You order at the counter and the drinks and food are bought out to your table. The staff were were friendly and polite. The cafe is nice and clean with a good feel about it - as soon as a customer left, the table was quickly cleared and also cleaned down ready for the next customer. There are a larger selection of cakes (covered) - the Earl Gray lemon cake was unusual and very tasty - would recommend trying. On our visits (several) we would recommend.

Met with a couple of friends here as it was halfway for each of us. On a cold and dreary day, the café was warm and cosy. We ordered at the counter and the staff brought our food and drinks to the table. It had an excellent selection of cakes, indeed both of my friends had a slice of cake, whilst I opted for the jacket potato, which was lovely. The garden centre had a lovely feel about it and was just the right size to walk around and browse. It had a good selection of Xmas (and other) presents that were not all expensive. The only downside from a personal perspective was that the toilets were a little distance from the cafe - and to get there one had to walk out of the cafe (and on a wet day this was most inconvenient) and into the garden centre. Other than that it was a good place to stop for a snack lunch.

The Garden Centre has been refurbished recently and and looks as if you can get just about everything you would need. We always stop for the Cafe' when we are passing by. There is a nice selection on the menu to meet most peoples tastes. You order at the till and the food is bought out to. Not over busy (Thursday lunch) but the toasted sandwiches we had were good with a choice of white or brown bread served with a nice fresh mixed leaves side salad with cherry tomatoes - not just 3 limp lettuce leaves and a piece of cucumber that is often served elsewhere. On our return journey we called in again for afternoon tea and cake. The staff were friendly and service was good. As a garden centre its ok, all the stuff you'd expect in a thriving garden centre the days. The surprise was waiting for is outside in the garden. A newly built pavilion tea room. Mum was able to get her scooter around the garden centre and through the doors easily enough. The staff were brilliantly helpful. The menu is really good from sandwiches to Jacket potatoes. What we found amazing was the varied "specials" menu. From delicious home made soups to steaks, roasts and pies. This little gem is tucked away down the A272, but worth hunting it down. An enjoyable find in the middle of a long drive - an excellent break. A simple jacket potato (a little small) with coronation chicken and salad was good with a very hot capuccino, exactly as requested. With eyes bigger than my tummy, I ordered lemon drizzle cake too which was disappointing - not home made and filled with lots of artificial flavourings. The ambience, the casual relaxed garden centre (not one of those horrible glitzy chain places full of stuff you never want near your home) with lovely plants and slightly different "stuff", together with autumn sunshine, made for a timely break. Once the food is given a slight tweak, it will be even better.
