To start with we had to wait 1 hr and 30 minutes for our meal then my meal was not very warm and the meal size was very small more like a starter

Came for Mother’s Day roast today. Was absolutely outstanding. Service is always spectacular. Very friendly pub and the cook is amazing. Would 100% recommend to everyone. Worth the money Well done all. X

Three of us had a wonderful lunch at East Street Bar and Grill restaurant yesterday. It was a special occasion, as one of us had a special birthday to be celebrated. As the birthday girl was the last to arrive we had the chance to tell Anthony, a most attentive and professional waiter, why we were all there. After a delicious lunch, Anthony arrived with a plate inscribed with her name in chocolate icing, a slice of cake with candles, and a scoop of ice cream. What a lovely surprise, and so very much appreciated. Thank you Anthony, and thank you East Street. Should also mention that the Maitre’d, Phillip, is also hugely attentive and professional. Definitely the place to go in Petworth.

It was very good! We went to have supper at the restaurant, and everything was delicious. Especially the spring risotto, the apple crumble, and the rhubarb sponge. Thank you for the great experience! PS: the staff was very nice and attentive as well.

Lovely family run business. They are all absolutely bonkers, but I think it's reflected in their dynamic and food. I'm not kidding they are bonkers... but make you feel welcome from start to finish of your visit.

Attended for a work do, paid £10 deposit and was under the impression that I’d get that back towards drinks but was told it’s non refundable. Freezing cold, everything was wet and was so dark too. I couldn’t bare to have a drink as I didn’t want to be any colder than I already was. I would never come back.

Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was prepared to a very good standard of both presentation and flavour and had no criticisms of a very good job done all round. Will return no question.

First visit. Lovely pub! Incredible historic oak beamed place and nice people. Best fish and chips we’ve had in years. Served quickly. Superb!!

We stopped here for lunch during Easter weekend. We were lucky to find a table and although it was really busy, the staff were amazing and we managed to get our orders really quickly. They were very friendly too and the food was super. Best fish and chips we've had in ages.

Realmente fabuloso lugar - tuvimos 45 minutos para matar después de una cata de vinos, así que tuvimos algunos bocados rápidos (y un montón de agua! ) Gran servicio - muy rápido - justo lo que necesitábamos - comida encantadora. (Pollo Satay, alas risueñas y galletas de langostinos)

The Deck Cafe is even better than before, superb location, sensible menu with Marina views to enjoy from inside the Cafe or dining on the balcony.
