I REGULARLY visit Shoot Kebab Shop in West Wittering, and I am always thoroughly impressed! The portion sizes are incredibly generous, giving you more than your money’s worth. Every bite is packed with flavour, and the food is fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. Whether you’re after a classic kebab or something else from their menu, you won’t be disappointed. They all know my order of the top of their heads! The service is equally impressive. The three young workers behind the counter are always friendly, helpful, and make sure everything is just right, with some good banta while you wait. Most recently the owners where on holiday and all 3 “young adults” still just as passionate and following as if mum was there…. A credit to their upbringing! The owner is also lovely—genuinely welcoming and clearly passionate about the business. Overall, a fantastic local spot with great food and an even better atmosphere! Highly recommended!

As a person who has lived in The Witterings for most of my life, once I saw this place had opened, I decided to give this family built Business a go. And WOW I couldn’t ask for better service, They were quick and efficient. The food was impeccable and mouth watering, best Kebab I’ve ever had. So Hats off to them. Definitely the best Takeaway place in the area!

My husband got a chicken kebab here last evening and has been unable to stop vomiting and having horrible stomach cramps since midnight. I luckily had chicken fingers and I am fine. I just called them to let them know so they can throw the remains away and not sell it to other people but after two questions (what he ate and if it was delivery or take out) they just hung up the phone. Absolutely appaling!!!!! Thank you for ruining our vacation here!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share this. I ordered a delivery from here last Friday, and the experience was far from good. The food arrived in poor condition—soggy pitta bread, kebab meat that tasted awful and had the texture of cardboard, and the chips weren’t great either. The only decent item was the halloumi fries. I’ve ordered from this place in person before, and the food was much better, so this was a real letdown. To make matters worse, three out of the five of us who ate the food had upset stomachs afterward. I won’t be ordering from here again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Walked in and couldn't believe my eyes I've never seen an English run kebab shop, thought this is going to be interesting (wasn't expecting much to be honest) but wow I was wrong. Probably the best Chicken Donner I've had in the last 12 months, also home made chili sauce and not the usual crap out of a cash and carry bottle, and really fresh lettuce tomatoes and cabbage most impressive, and also a fast service, even thou they were incredibly busy... Hats off to u guys and girls there ?

Ordered a breakfast through JustEat and a coffee. Both arrived piping hot and fresh. Even the delivery driver was bang on time and polite. Quality of the food was just as good as if I had gone to eat out, which when delivered to home you don’t always get! really impressed!

One of the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had sadly. People were friendly and service was good but as a warning to others looking for some tradition fish and chips, this is terrible. Chips were skinny chips and very oily. The fish was just horrible. Our fault for trying a place with kebab in the name.

Great kebabs. Meat was juicy well seasoned and the veg were so fresh. Very good price.

To be honest we love this place and our go to when I am at my holiday destination. But the first time they double charged me and recieved a refund in store as I collected we ordered a kebab tonight and half the order is wrong. Seriously we love these guys but when we ask for special comments in the request box to be acknowledged I just think in future will be better to collect in person x

The staff were really friendly and efficient and the 'Messy Burger' I had was excellent. I watched Peter, who cooked it, cook all the ingredients from fresh - onions, mushrooms, egg, etc., and it was all cooked to perfection. My son's hotdog was great too, as we're the chips. All piping hot as freshly cooked on demand. A real treat!

Had a kebab from there last night. Lovely, excellent shredded salad and v pleasant staff.

Love the food from here and always fast delivery! The chips are delicious and nothing I’ve tried from the menu has ever disappointed.

I order from this takeaway far more often than I should, but their service and food are just too good to resist. The delivery times are consistently impressive, and the food never disappoints. Even when I’ve asked for something not on the menu, they’ve been happy to accommodate my requests. If there’s any downside, it’s that the food is almost too delicious and addictive—but that’s hardly a complaint! Overall, I’m thrilled to have such a fantastic takeaway so close to home, and I look forward to happily spending more of my wages on their yummy food in the future.

First time going here and wasn't disappointed, very nice food and well cooked.

not happy with the kebab meat want very moist infact it was quiet hard and burnt,my husband actually threw most of it away much to my discust

Having passed this place regularly it always looks busy. I got a delivery to only a few hundred meters away. I had a mixed kebab while my family had chicken fillet burgers. The burgers were ok, not brilliant but acceptable. The kebab however is 100% the worst that I have ever had. The lamb donner was wafer thin cut,but very bland. That’s the best bit. Salad cut so thin it had no crunch. Still not the worst bit. The lamb and chicken kofta were absolutely terrible. They were mush. Flavourless, but worst of all they fell apart and in my opinion were not just meat and spice, it was as if there was a fair amount of bread/rusk added to save money. The best I can say is that the delivery was quick.

Yet another great takeaway tonight. Always a fantastic kebab, tasty meat, fresh salad. Friendly family run business. Support local 🙌🙌 always 5 stars 👍

We went for breakfast this morning. It’s really good. The full English was delicious, my partner ate too much !!!!!! Coffee is the best in the village, at last a decent coffee locally. Brownies looked good but couldn’t fit one in, will be going back to try. Can thoroughly recommend, they are getting more tables and chairs outside as they definitely need more

Credit where it’s due! Lovely food and excellent service. The XL kebabs are AMAZING. My dads nearly 70 and said it’s the best kebab he has ever had. Even bought it out to the car for us. Will come here every time we are down this way. Great price too.

Staff are great, and the service is brilliant.

We have been getting food from here for a long while and it use to absolutely fantastic, the best kabab we had ever eaten. Over the past few months the food has really gone down hill poor quality, meat is never fresh its hard and cold. Its a real shame as use to be so lovely.

I use Shoots on a regular basis due to my varying work commitments, the food there is always spot on, service is top notch and atmosphere friendly. They are always willing to cater to awkward requests (fussy eater). All round 5*

A family business working hard to provide a decent t away... food is just not quite right... its bland warmed up and nothing like a kebab should be .. they are lovely people but it's not a kebab meat or swarwa food.. its a belly full after a night out.. they need to find a better supplier.. burgers the same... sorry but its not good food. Just a light nite t away.. probably only busy because of location..

I have only been here once as I don’t live near the area but I really reccomend it. I just got sausage and chips and it was really lovely. I did think they where going to be like chip shop chips but they where fries instead which I was pleasantly surprised with personally. The sausage was really nice aswell. My husband got a halloumi kebab which he really liked and he was glad they had a couple vegetarian options. My kids had chicken nuggets and chips and they loved it and are begging to go back almost every day 🤣 service was kind and helpful.

We have ordered and eaten from here on several occasions now…we usually telephone order then pick up at the agreed time. Food has always been delicious, it’s fairly priced, but the outstanding thing for me is the service. The people running the place are always so friendly. The dirty fries are a brilliant accompaniment to most of the dishes

Food, delicious. Pricing, very good. Service, outstanding. We’ve ordered and eaten from here several times now and never been disappointed with any aspect at all. We find it best to phone the order through and pick up at the agreed time. Works a treat.

Picked up two large Lamb donners and large chips. The food was delicious, they were a little busy but was great to see what seemed to be a family run business working to get it all ready. They seem to really care about what they do and being that busy only shows how popular they are. Highly recommend.

Ordered to Scott farm for dinner for my family when it arrived there was no cutlery the food was so over costed that it wasn’t eat able worse place I have ever eaten food from the chicken kebab box had about 100ml of grease floating around hardly any sauce I would advise everyone to avoid the place !!!! £35 of food binned !!!

Omg this was the best experience we ever had. Customer service completely bang on. They are extremely helpful and fantastic. The lady who served us was brilliant. Now down to food We had Shots messy burgers- the best I ever had, taste was there - juicy and full of flavour Kids had bacon burgers said if we could we would eat them every day that’s how great it was - we are picky on food but this is the best in place totally A+++

A great family run takeaway. I have passed Shoots mandybtime but just stopped for the first time. The owners were more than helpful. I asked for the lamb wrap to be put into separate boxes so my wife could make it to her liking at home. They were more than happy to do this. I can't imagine many others would. I had a large mixed kebab, tasted great with fresh salad and hot sauce on the side. We also tried the chicken wings. They would give many london chicken shops a run for there money. Definitely worth a visit, I will 100% be going back. Nice to have something diffrent when staying at the coast. THANK YOU!

Only been in twice but so far so good. Nice enough food but not enough spices in the kofte for my liking but my daughter loves the curly fries. Very nice people though and not too expensive. They will see us again i am sure. .

5* service, 5* kebabs. The owners are really lovely and couldn't be more helpful. My review is graded 4* as I get so frustrated trying to order by phone. Please get rid of the answerphone! Mailbox is full, and instead of being engaged and using ring back, I have been ringing for the past hour, going to VM, being told mailbox is full, hanging up, trying again. Are you even open? You must lose customers. I'm hungry and if anyone delivered here, I would be ordering a lesser kebab from them by now. If you get rid of the answerphone, I'll happily upgrade to a very deserving 5*'s.

Awful! The food was inedible. Unless you like to eat / drink cooking oil, don't ever buy chicken doner kebab. Meat and bread were totally soaked in oil and the oil dripped from the container! No taste to meat at all, no spices, very salty. Chips ended up in the bin also. I have never been served such disgusting food in my entire life.

Nice family run business was recommended to me by my daughter. We had a range of different item from kebabs, burger, dirty fries and just chips all was very nice and well priced, would definitely recommend to others.

Ordered the family size mixed meat kebab & chips (the lamb shish was minted & lamb kofte was very juicy NOT dry like everywhere else) it was very tasty and piping hot (temperature) very good value for money and would highly recommend it. Staff was very friendly and welcoming (new owners) and will definitely return again 5*

Always make the best food that always cheers you up if your having a bad day 5 stars are not enough stars to rate this place but sadly 5 stars is gonna have to do, the food at stavros is mouthwatering and hits the spot and unlike other takeaways keeps you feeling full afterwards for hours after! They're absolutely amazing 👏. First of all the service is friendly and to the top standard. A really nice family is running the business, great to see youngsters getting involved. We popped down during the day for some chicken kebabs and were glad that we did. Around 16.30 is wasn't too busy there. Chicken was fresh, perfectly seasoned and hot, so we really enjoyed it. Portions are decent and food came quite quickly. Kids also wanted slushies - these were nice and we topped it all off with some ice cream 🍦yum. Overall they were great, so I truly recommend visiting this place!

Fantastic takeaway kebabs!!! So much better than the previous owners!!! My husband and I had the special kebab which came with all the meats….. they were divine!! My favourite has to be the shish chicken and lamb!! They gave us plenty of salad which I love with my kebab! It was the best kebab I have ever had!! We will deffo be back on a regular basis! My favourite takeaway in the Witterings now me thinks!! ❤️

Tried Stavros for the first time since the new owners took over. Collected our order, which was on time, and piping hot. Halloumi kebab was a big hit, loads of salad, and a huge portion of halloumi too. Meat was tender, with just the right amount of seasoning, and fries that stayed crispy right down to the last one! Try it lovely people, you won’t be disappointed.

The best kebab shop I’ve ever been too. And I mean that. Absolutely brilliant food and excellent customer service. Bossman is really nice and hooked me up with some tender meat. Even the garlic Mayo was outrageously good. Highly recommend!

Order arrived stone cold and wrong! The large doner was meant to have chilli sauce on it but instead some sort of mince looking stuff that tasted vile??? Small doner was meant to have no sauce, arrived with heaps of watery sauce and tons of salad with very minimal meat?? Absolutely awful meal I’ll never be using this place again

Ordered food for 6:30pm, turned up and they hadn’t even started cooking it, even though they were very quiet. Then when tried to pay with card the Owner kept saying £15 minimum. The bill was £14 and he said buy a drink, I said I don’t want a drink and he insisted with a bad attitude. He then said fine don’t have it and took it away. I noticed that they re-heated cooked chicken for the chicken kebab, so not fresh at all, I therefore left quite grateful that I didn’t eat their re-cooked chicken! I’d advise staying away if you don’t want to deal with food poisoning or a bad attitude!

Had takeaway last night for the first time ordered 8 burgers for our family each and everyone was delicious good quality burgers great chips good value we will be going back The Butler-knights from Holdens caravan park
