Went there for a birthday brunch, food was amazing, good prices, staff were great, we’ll definitely go again, really nice all round

Fantastic food, served very quickly. Knowing that this is a popular, busy restaurant we asked for a quieter table and although it was not easy we were very happy to be asked which table worked for us. We were able to find a table that was perfect and enjoyed our evening a lot. Thank you

All good BUT I did not like the 12.5% service charge added to the bill. A service charge should be optional and at the discretion of the person dining. Adding a service charge to the bill is poor practice and will make me think twice about eating in a Bills restaurant again

I had the bills classic burger, it was okay not the best thing I’ve ever had though. My friends got the buttermilk chicken burger and they loved it and said it was amazing!

Overpriced menu, not a huge amount of choice. Two of us ordered the steak which would have been nice had it not been covered in salt. I'm all for seasoning but this tasted like someone tipped the entire pot of salt on the steak. For pudding tried the flower pot dessert but no trace of the fruit, just a thick gloopy mass topped with chocolate dirt and served in an edible pot. I really won't be going back and certainly wouldn't recommend as an eatery. The staff were very friendly and attentive but that's all I can say is good.

Second visit and it’s even better than the first time

Had a great meal before the theatre. My friend and I had the same....duck salad and salted caramel chocolate tart. Both really good! Great service as well.

i heard amazing things about bills and certainly lived up to the expectations from start to finish the staff was delightful very attentive it was busy we didn’t waited long for our drinks our food which was cooked to perfection with a huge variety to cater to all dietary requirements. We definitely be returning to this Hidden gem.

I had an issue with my food, this was resolved immediately. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Not my first visit and won’t be my last.

We enjoyed a really nice meal on Saturday evening after a last minute booking. There was a delay in our service but the waitress, Anna, was very helpful and served us complimentary drinks while we waited. Her customer service was excellent. We will definitely come again.

Best breakfast in chichester and great coffee

Sorry to score so low overall. It’s people with their dogs that are not kept under control. One person was allowing their dog to sit on the bench seat, another dog just barking away under a table. Personally, I don’t think dogs should be allowed in any eating area. If they have to be there, then have a dog free zone. Not everybody wants dogs around them when eating out. I would just like the choice as to whether I have a dog near me when eating out. Sorry Bill’s, but no dogs, or a dog zone, would have got you an easy 5 stars all the way. It’s the policy and implementation of that policy that I am marking down. The staff were absolutely stunning in their service delivery equally great.

Strange! Walked in on spec at 5pm. Two members of staff rushed over to us at the same time so all very willing and eager. We asked if we could look at a menu and they passed one over cWe looked at in and attracted their attention asking for a table for 2. They replied they were fully booked for the night! Why did they not explain that when we asked to see a menu?!

We had a lovely evening at Bill’s. Ela (our server) was excellent: accommodating, friendly, attentive and efficient. The food, as always, was great too. Two of our party have recently had bariatric surgery and the smaller plates are just fab for this. I had the prawn and mango cocktail and the sauce is heavenly.

We came here as part of my sister’s hen do and couldn’t have had a better time! Food was delicious and the team were really organised and kind. We visited bills yesterday for lunch and would definitely recommend. The food was superb and our waitress was lovely and very friendly, despite us noticing that the manager spoke to her and the staff very poorly.

I love it here, the food's amazing every time I visit, a lovely bright atmosphere when I've gone for brunch, but if I had to suggest a staple dish it has to be the eggs royale... HEAVENS ABOVE its to DIE for. But if that's not your thing there's plenty of other options to pick from at your leisure!

We love Bill’s for brunch. It’s very family friendly and the manager, Wale, is always so welcoming and attentive. He works very hard to make the experience very special. There were 5 of us today, all with slightly different requests and our waiter, James, handled it perfectly. Nothing was too much for him. Delicious food and the summer ‘kids eat free’ summer promotion was a bonus too! Thank you

Second time we have been for lunch. As previously the steaks were excellent. The place has a great vibe and our waiter Lee was brilliant. As an old couple, the thing we noticed the most is how bubbly and efficient every member of the team is, which contributed to a very enjoyable lunch even though it was very busy.

They were fully booked but did their best to fit us in and provided brilliant service. My children and I enjoyed our meals.

Great service, breakfast could have been a bit hotter

The free kids meal deal made the restaurant overly loud with all the screaming. I’m not sure I would come again during that promotion. As ever, the food and staff were excellent.

Service was superb, food was served quick, fresh, hot and to a great standard. Value for money and friendly team there. The first meal we have ever had where my youngest didn't need a screen to keep them calm and she ate beautifully. That's because the atmosphere is calm but buzzing at the same time. We had a great meal, thank you!

We happened to stumble upon this place by chance having pulled off the motorway and it was such a pleasant surprise. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. Two kids meals and desserts were free of charge. By far the best thing about this establishment is it's service and fabulous staff. Their staff is a credit to Bill's.

Animals sit on restaurant chairs at tables!!!! Steak well done despite ordering medium. Toilet’s could be greatly improved!

Lovely restaurant, full of atmosphere, service was excellent, with a varied menu, we had a superb lunch. Bills at Chichester is my favourite of the chain, really nice Manager who was so welcoming (as were all the staff). Thoroughly recommended, such a well run establishment.

Wale was fantastic in Chichester! He was fun, charismatic and attentive. He was a perfect example of customer service. We can't wait to come back for our catch up!

Food and service were descent and what you would expect, but service charge was 12% which is the most expensive I know off around Chichester. Also if you pay via the app you cannot remove or change the service charge. This can only be done by discussing with the table staff. I find this off putting and done specifically to make the customer feel awkward, which is a bit underhand. I won't be going back as its not so good I need to be tricked into tipping. If the food and service is good enough tips come naturally.

Pre Booked our table for 5pm and on arrival received a warm welcome and allowed to choose our table. Presented with 2 glasses of Prosecco to mark my husband’s birthday. Lovely food with great service. We’ll definitely be back.

I went for a lunch here with my mother and two young children as part of the kids I eat free promotion over the summer. We were made to feel so welcome and the food was delicious. Often I have been made to feel like dining with children is an inconvenience but at Bills all the staff were so attentive and kind we will definitely be back! Thank you Bills Chichester!

Great food, great service, nice ambiance. Spacious seating too. Their breakfast granola with berries and yoghurt is one of the best, crunchy, fruity and delicious.

We visited for an early supper before going to the Festival Theatre. The staff were delightful and the food was outstanding. We were after something light. I had Butternut squash with poached eggs and feta on sourdough. Delicious!

We popped in for breakfast this Sunday. Staff were inattentive to the point of rudeness. Shame because the other Bills I’ve been to have felt independent and sincere. The Chichester one is more of a conveyor belt. Impersonal and generic.

I dined at Bill's Chichester Restaurant with my family yesterday, and it was a delightful experience. Having had a lot of fish and beef in recent days, I decided to opt for something vegetarian this time and ordered the aubergine and burrata dish with an Italian twist. It was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. Additionally, upon my request, they prepared a shandy, which was also very well made. The staff was accommodating and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. I've previously visited other locations of this restaurant chain in Coventry and Guildford, and I must say that the Chichester branch maintains the same high standards. I particularly enjoy the interior design and the relaxed atmosphere that Bill's consistently offers. I highly recommend dining here.

Not the easiest to find but a nice ambience and the staff are friendly and helpful. Top marks for the full English breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented.

A beautiful place. Tastefully furnished. I went there because I felt like some Full English with a twist, and that’s exactly what I got. The brunch (served at dinnertime) was pleasant; a large portion, filling and satisfying; one minor gripe: my bacon felt way too crusty, like it spent the afternoon in a fridge and then got reheated, (similarly the black pudding, although that was my first try of that dish, so I’m not sure here) - hence only 4 stars for food - but on the bright side the beans, the diced grilled potatoes and especially the toasted bread - possibly the best toast I have ever tried - were very tasty. Brownie I have enjoyed; next time I would ask to have it heated up a bit more though. It was nicely presented and tasty. I tried an elderflower and mint (and possibly with something else that I don’t remember) CBD/herbal tea/soft drink. I liked that. It felt beyond relaxing; eerily soothing and balmy and I felt a bit sleepy afterwards- but that might be because of having slept less than five hours in the night. It was tasty, even though next time I wouldn’t mix it with ice as that dilutes the taste. Overall, I would recommend, and I might come back. The biggest highlight - the quaint vibe of the place; service was friendly and the food tries to be interestingly different, which is commendable.

Average restaurant with good food, just a tad plasticy pancakes!

Visited Bill's for a breakfast as a father's day surprise from my sons and daughter, 3 of us had the big breakfast and the other had pancakes, service was very quick and the staff were very polite and friendly, all our meals were cook with great quality ingredients so a very tasty meal indeed!, just a little disappointed with the size , it's called the big breakfast but it's not compared to other breakfast locations in my eyes, but was still an enjoyable meal and would recommend trying them out.

Came late on a Wednesday, Greka and Leslie were amazing. Food was great and even though we were the last ones there they didn’t rush us out and made us feel special with a birthday sundae

Oh dear, where to start.... After reading the reviews, decided to visit for breakfast. Interesting place with spacious dining area and nicely decorated. Greeted by friendly staff before ordering. Shortish wait for coffee/food but it all fell apart from there.. Firstly, the coffees. Absolutely awful. Espresso was essentially hot water with a hint of caffeine. An instant coffee would have had more to it - sign of a decent espresso is a good crema. This had nothing. Wife's mocha was just as bad. Tasted of sickly syrup-like hot chocolate with no coffee taate. Extremely disappointing given what they charge. Breakfast was ok but should have been much better. The poached eggs on both our dishes were semi xold and certainly undercooked given the raw egg white inside. Mushrooms were undercooked too. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, but we certainly won't be returning customers. Please learn how to make coffee properly.

The eggs were really nice. Unfortunately the beans were cold, the potatoes undercooked and the bacon was grey (and undercooked). No butter for the toast, and I believe the sausage was cooked many hours before. I've had better breakfasts for half the price.

Lovely restaurant. Delicious food. Friendly staff. We were served by a blonde waitress called Ania (assuming it was her name on the bill) who was really lovely and attentive. She engaged in conversation with us about the theatre, which was nice. Rather pricy though!
