The best restaurants in Basingstoke and Deane South East

Best selection of world beers of any pub in Basingstoke... all for under £3-4! Full English for £2.99. Big airy and light atmosphere with seating perfect for sunset outside. What's not to like. Best pub/restaurant for food & drink in the whole town for the price and kind staff.

Had a fantastic experience at Nando’s Basingstoke - Festival Place! Despite being a group of almost 25 people, the staff were impressively efficient, ensuring our orders were taken accurately and our food was served promptly. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere had a great ambiance—perfect for a large gathering. Managing such a big group with such smooth service was truly impressive. Highly recommend for both small and large groups alike!

Painfully slow and unhelpful staff.

Visited here a few times for drinks and the atmosphere has always been good. Great selection of spirits available, including lots of gins/rums. There is occasionally live music on a Friday or Saturday night, or they tend to show the sport of a major tournament is on - most recently the rugby! (we won't talk about that game...) Prices are what you'd expect from most pubs, so not overly expensive/cheap. There is an additional area upstairs that you can request to book of you're having a work event or just a large group of you turning up. Have never had a problem here. If the drinks prices mean you can't spend your whole evening here, there's always the Wetherspoons next door to get a few cheap rounds in.

Lovely little underrated bar!! Really friendly staff, Ben stood out to me was so nice and chatty. 10/10 would recommend to anyone bored with the naff bars in Basingstoke!!

Went with my grandson age 10. I had cottage pie and him burger and chips. No problem with quality of food. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Great food, and friendly service 👌. I go for the Infused kebab or the Naga mix kebab. I have had a few and can't complain, the taste is excellent. One thing I would not recommend is the Just Eat service, I have used that a couple of times and been stitched up by the app. Order by visiting the shop and pay over the counter.

Food is great from here compared to other Chinese Takeaway I have tried.

Hotel in need of some decor improvements but was clean, reception staff were friendly and helpful, my room details were ready for my arrival which was a nice touch. Room 65 was spacious, clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and most of the staff engaging and pleasant. Would be happy to stay again.

Really enjoyed the lounge and restaurant (great fish and amazing bread)! Woody, Joe, Igor, and Kat were very accommodating and Trish (Chef) had excellent dinner recommendations. Friendly staff and great food made for an excellent evening!

Very friendly Nice food good value for money

The driver was shown to be delivering to a property twice the distance from the restaurant before delivering my order when I live much closer.

My partner and I went for lunch on Good Friday. We found the booking system easy to use and plenty of car parking spaces. We both had a starter (sticky chipotle chicken) which was fantastic and a main. The food came quickly and was excellent and Leanne out host was brilliant. We will be back soon.
