Decent enough pub this, couple of standard dodgy geezers knocking about, but it’s a good pub for a beer, footy and laugh.

Good proper pub. Good service, great beer, good atmosphere for the footy. A variety of people, some friendly, some strange. All seemed interesting either way. Glad we stumbled across this place.

Horrendous fight occurred in this pub over the weekend. Unfortunately, the atmosphere does lend itself to this type of occurrence. Won't be attending this pub. I hope the victim involved makes a full recovery and police investigate.

The new owners have done a fantastic job bringing it back to life,and adding live music on occasions is a brilliant addition too😁😀😃

It’s what you’d expect of a flat roof pub. Cheap beer and reheated food. A good place to get drunk.

Can't remember. .. but played pool ... long night ... my mates fault..... popped in once again .. this is post covid ( 1st review was pre covid) .... the pool table has been replaced with a live scar band .... that's all I remember.... oh and I give an extra star

Busy, young and vibrant... New owners have brought the old place up to date

Only popped in for one drink, sat in the garden. Ordered from the table, paid at the table. This pub has made a massive improvement since being taken over by new owners/management. Both members of staff who were working (one Irish lad and another young lad on Wednesday) were both polite and helpful.

Great pub, we had a good time. The kitchen closed early so we did not get to order a meal.

Earlier and and my 2 mates went there but we was stopped at the gate and the bouncer said oh we close at 10 which was in 5 minutes at the time and pretended to listen to instructions on his radio and walked away and then came back saying sorry we close soon you can’t come in so we checked online and it said it closes at 11 and went back and waved us away from a distance so we went to another pub and on the way back at 11:13 there was still people outside having a drink! I’m very disappointed with the service and this isn’t how a pub should be treating their customers

Really encouraged by their efforts! Covid precautions were exactly as l wanted and expected. Staff were aware, up to date, knowledgeable of regulations at this tricky time, but still friendly and approachable. Well Done, K o W!

Marston's pedigree was colder than a lager. It should not be served as a freezing temperature. Otherwise reasonable visit.

Very clean didn't like the bad language that some of the customer were using shame as it was very clean and staff were excellent.

Nice set up to do with virus rules but think certain bar staff take it to another level just to tell you what to do because they are in charge. But a good pub to visit and find the local drinkers very friendly so you don't feel unwelcome

First ever visit and felt covid was handled well. Sat outside as the weather was great and there was large tvs for the football. My only complaint would be the ladies toilet was very small and I don't know if there is a disabled toilet (I may have missed it).

Great pub right neat town. They are following the Covid guidelines very well and still remain busy. A little pricey but worth it to sit outside in the large garden. Multiple large screens outside for when football comes back too.

Can’t believe this place is still open, paint peeling off the sides of the walls, filled with drug addicts, in a really dodgy location and genuinely awful.

I took my two delightful children out for a sumptuous Sunday lunch at this quaint picturesque pub. Very impressed with the decor, the amazing food and the staff were friendly and inviting. I would encourage anyone local to try it.

In need of a huge face lift. Outside window frames rotten and need replacing very soon. Or even sooner.

A run down unattractive pub with annoying TVs in several places. Often seems to be looking for a new landlord. Some of them try to make a go of it but the depressing architecture and poor standard of construction are against them.
