The best restaurants in South East

I booked this for my mother's 98 Birthday and it was amazing food, service and the care that they gave my mum was outstanding.

Enthusiastically recommended by a local, I sat on the patio on a Wednesday night watching the world go by. Bit quiet with accordingly relaxed service. Bathrooms were OK but whole place a little tired, BUT THE FOOD! Sesame-studded, crispy felafel with creamy interiors served with excellent tahini sauce. Honestly superb. The mixed grill had juicy, tender well-seasoned chicken shish one ground chicken & one lamb kofte. Beautifully grilled, juicy and so tasty. Really good toum and fresh sumac-topped salad. All the juices soaked into the piece of pita underneath; what a treat! Really surpassed expectations after a shaky start!

We went there for our Wedding Anniversary meal last week. We don't live in Brockenhurst but had come over to the New Forest for the day from the Isle of Wight so it was our first visit to Albero. What a find! All the food we had was delicious and freshly made. My gluten free pasta was so tasty. The staff were polite and attentive. Will definitely keep it on our list of places to eat.

Great place! I had a beef yaki udon and it was reeeally good - amazing flavours, super tasty and good size. The servers were polite and attentive.

Honestly the nicest burger I’ve ever had. I got the boring burger and everything in it was perfection. The staff working are so lovely too! they appreciate the wait times as it’s so popular and gave us free water which was so kind. I hope they open more restaurants. Will definitely come back!

We were kindly fitted in on a busy Friday night, despite the restaurant being very busy. Incredibly friendly service, and delicious food...especially the paella. Actually preferred the veggy one!

A favourite treat night for us , that's not silly expensive ,tho the drinks can catch you out and would benefit by having some drinks offers . But it's all about the excellent steak cuts sourced locally that in our four visits, I've never had to remove any gristle or veins , you can eat the lot ,with unlimited fries & salad that are also excellent & fresh . The manager Rob ,efficient and a joy ,ask him for a song . Dog friendly & booking advised at peak times . Tip ,sit near the doors ,20 tables cooking multiple steaks gets heady , and leave room for me .

Staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. We also enjoyed our drinks. Service was prompt and very good price. The interior design is so cute too. I am quite delayed in posting this review as we went on Valentine’s Day: This is relevant because the staff put a flower decoration on our table and they said that we could take it home.
