We called in unannounced just for a drink. All tables outside were booked but Amanda had a solution. She and Monica conferred dragging a high bar table and two stools from inside. We became table 109 the newest table at the RL. Monica and Amanda worked their magic. Monica was like a conductor on the last night of the proms, directing here and there. Of course, we ordered food after watching such mouth-watering delights appear from the kitchen and singing along to Sultana. Thank you, Monica and team. Spot on.

Another fabulous meal at this wonderful restaurant. We took friends along and they were very impressed. The risotto starter was delicious and everyone else agreed their choices were also very very good.. the Cod dish from the special board was cooked to perfection as was...

We have been enjoying Hendrick's food for the best part of ten years, first at the White Horse in Kings Sutton, prior to their move, and latterly at the Duck on the Pond. This Saturday lunch time was no different. The mushroom soup taster was delicious, setting the bar high, but this was surpassed by the chicken and sweetcorn soup, tasty little pieces of succulent chicken with a delicious light and flavorful soup poured on. Both of us had the lamb bun/pie, a new riff on an old White Horse favourite, that even surpassed our memories of versions passed. Julie and Victoria create a wonderful front of house atmosphere and have recruited in their own likeness. We highly recommend arriving for dinner a little early and enjoying a drink in the bar prior to what will be a most enjoyable meal. Further to travel than the Kings Sutton days, but always worth it!

Having seen one or two reviews from disappointed diners I am happy to say that we had an excellent meal last night. We had the Cider Pressed Pork Belly plus 4 other tapas, and with desserts this was enough for us. All were extremely good, as was the service from the young waiters. The total bill was just over £100 but that included cava and a glass of wine each. We have recently eaten in two other tapas restaurants, one in Buckinghamshire and another in South London: all are totally different, all extremely good. All serve the basics: patatas bravas, jamón etc. but the London one had some more imaginative but authentic tapas on offer, which made a pleasant change. Nevertheless we would happily return to the Tres Corazones: there were plenty of people there and the atmosphere was pleasant. A good place to eat outside on a warm evening.

My partner and I enjoyed the early evening menu. The food was very tasty, and the beef cut very soft and cooked to the term. Chips can be improved as they were not as crispy and the presentation of the ice cream. Other than that, everything else was just fine. I will definitely come back as the prices are very reasonable for the portions.
