Nicely presented restaurant in the Tapas style. The food is good and tasty yet quickly brought to the table. I would give it a five star but the selection of items in the menu is rather too limited for tapas at a restaurant, that limited range would work in a bar in Spain.

We come here for lunch every few months with our 4 year old son or occasionally, when we can get a babysitter, just the two of us. The food is fantastic and lunch menu is very good value. The service, particularly from the waiter who I think is also probably the manager, is incredible: Helpful, good humoured and excellent with kids. So lucky to have this restaurant in wendover.

2nd visit to Tres Corazones, took advantage of the lunch offer menu, 3 tapas each was plenty for us and then a choice, YES, CHOICE! of dairy free (vegan too) deserts (that aren't just sorbet.) both of which were lovely. Great calamari, great service and a nice place. Top marks.

This was our first visit. Hands down up there with the best tapas I’ve had anywhere and that includes many trips I’ve had to Spain. Infinitely better than the chains like las iguanas and la tasca. Manager and staff were both knowledgable and attentive. They know tapas and it shows in the food on the table. Looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu.

A very reasonable restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. The owner was warm and welcoming, with the food coming swiftly after ordering. The goats cheese, paella and pork belly were tasty, but the Gambas lacked the punch I expected.

Honestly , hand on my heart one of the most disappointing meals I’ve have had in a long while. We ordered the chicken skewers and some of the chicken was raw which had to be sent back and then was really dry. The portion sizes do not warrant paying that amount. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend. But I can’t fault the staff they were the only positives.

Having seen one or two reviews from disappointed diners I am happy to say that we had an excellent meal last night. We had the Cider Pressed Pork Belly plus 4 other tapas, and with desserts this was enough for us. All were extremely good, as was the service from the young waiters. The total bill was just over £100 but that included cava and a glass of wine each. We have recently eaten in two other tapas restaurants, one in Buckinghamshire and another in South London: all are totally different, all extremely good. All serve the basics: patatas bravas, jamón etc. but the London one had some more imaginative but authentic tapas on offer, which made a pleasant change. Nevertheless we would happily return to the Tres Corazones: there were plenty of people there and the atmosphere was pleasant. A good place to eat outside on a warm evening.

Really very poor food. No flavour to any dish. Tiny portions (even for Tapas). A lowpoint was the chicken paella. This was a tasteless, tiny dish of rice which had shredded chicken and sweetcorn (?) on top of it for more than £10. Not authentic in any way, overpriced for portion sizes.

We went expecting homemade Spanish tapas but its local reputation for decent food has not stood the test of time. The menu looked great but what arrived was re-heated Brake-Bros fare, sloppy, no flavour, completely uninspired. Confirmed by the staff who explained the original family who created it have moved on to another location, its clear the passion and talent have left the kitchen. The bill was a stinger. Won't be returning. Amersham's Pluma a better spot for Spanish food.

Really poor. Food was absolutely flavourless and I don't think a Spanish person was involved in the cooking anywhere. A chicken paella is not some rice with shredded chicken added on top (and baby sweetcorn???), after cooking. It was also a miniscule portion for close to ten pounds. Nor is patatas bravas some roast potatoes with a sweet BBQ sauce. Meatballs had zero seasoning. Only acceptable dish was the chorizo, because the chorizo was good chorizo. Not the dish. The quality does not justify a £7-£10 a dish price point

We booked a table for 3 at 8pm on Friday eve. The restaurant was about 25% full. Service was really poor given the few tables that were occupied. I paid £4.50 for 2 of the smallest croquettes I’ve ever seen and £14 for 3 medium sized sardines! Our two others paid over £17 for a piece of rump steak which was served alone! So another side dish had to be purchased. Together with a bottle of wine, the bill was £105. We had consumed nearly a bottle of wine before the food eventually arrived - when we tried to hasten our meal - the excuse was that sardines take a long time to cook! Needless to say, this will be our last ever visit to Tres Corazones which has been going downhill for a while and is now just taking the p***

This has to be one the most unsatisfactory meals I've ever had at a restaurant, completely overpriced and I think the only Spanish item on the menu was the Estrella galicia,my wife ordered the chicken paella I can tell you with no joke there was 3 mouthfuls to the dish ,nothing paella about it as it came with baby corn(baffled PAELLA IS NOT A TAPA).....also ordered the pan con tomate the bread tasted like sunflower oil as it had been coated in some sort of oil and chargrilled to give it a very strange taste...nothing spanish about it,the flour the calamari had been coated in was covered in black pepper very strange, the worse bit of it all is I ordered an over 28 pound fillet of steak...no joke it came cut into 3 pieces on its own on a plate, thankfully I asked for chips...which were charged separately(MIND BLOWN),my mother in law also ordered a goats cheese dish which came with 6 bits of bread....as a chef I recommend you add a little salad to this...this restaurant is completely upselling all its ingredients you should definitely avoid this place...not one bottle of olive oil on sight...overall its a complete rip off if you are going to serve tapas sized portions of actual meals please put it on the menu...I expect my 30 pound fillet steak to come with veg and a potato side...honestly one of the worst meals I've had in a a long time.

Revised 11/29 after manager contacted me & explained the 20% is for VAT purposes and service charge was the standard 12.5% and can be removed if service wasn't up to par. Food quality was pretty good here. However, only allowing 75 minutes to consume wine, drinks, and a lot of food for six people was not sufficient. This timeframe wasn't told to us until we sat down and about 20 minutes into our reservation. Service, although on a Friday night, could have been improved as plates began to pile up & when returning to drop more plates off, they let them sit on the table. I eventually asked them to remove the plates. Additionally, water and drinks had to be asked to be refilled. Andy/Manager offered to reverse the service charge and even a bottle of wine on our next visit. Class act by the manager to follow up as he did. If you're in this lovely town, stop by and treat yourself to a nice meal and drinks.

I would especially recommend the goats cheese, the sardines (as long as you are okay with fiddly bones) and the prawns. We spent about £30-35pp +12.5% tip as it was an occasion and it was more than enough food, if this is your budget I can't recommend this enough. We went early, but it is essential to book as they get quite busy later on for good reason! There is some on street parking but in wendover in general a little bit busy. The only thing is that I could not see a wheelchair accessible loo, and the main doorway might not allow for one through. But there are some tables outside.

Just ok. Booked a table as I was missing having tapas and Pintxos. Not a patch on real authentic Spanish tapas - especially the portion sizes compared to cost! Ordered the calamari, it was so thinly cut it was hard to find under the batter. The croquetas, whilst tasty, were an utter disappointment in size. Three measly balls on a plate, sad when the main ingredient is flour. When you spend £60 on a meal for two, you should not be leaving hungry. Also I think the additional 12.5% service charge added onto your bill is distasteful, it’s a tip not an entrance fee.

Used to be one of my favourite restaurants. However, our close friend received terrible news from the hospital yesterday (this was also her favourite restaurant). We travelled overnight for 5 hours to visit her by surprise and take her for dinner here. I called to book a reservation after the online booking reservation kicked us out then I called the restaurant last night (Thursday). The member of staff who initially took my call was nice and told me they are full but she'd speak to the restaurant manager and he'd ring me tomorrow (Friday) to see if they could accommodate us. Objectively, I noted my request for a table was last minute and offered to pay the restaurant for the equivalent of two or three tables - as all we wanted to do was put a smile on our friend's face after receiving such terrible news. I just now received a 'phone call from the restaurant manager. He was one of the rudest people I've ever come across. He thought it was shocking that I'd even try to book so last minute and began raising his voice at me that there are no tables for my guests. When I asked him for his name he hung the phone up. Absolutely shocking behaviour from a restaurant which we have had nothing but fond memories and great food.

The first round of 'tapas' or starters which were very nice, which included 'jamon iberico de bellota', 'pimientos de Padron' and 'calamares'. Then we ordered some mains, or meat 'tapas' aka 'Pollo Frito' and 'Pork Belly'. In Spain we do eat pollo frito in various forms, probably the most popular being fried or sauteed on a shallow frying pan with garlic and sometimes chili (aka pollo al ajillo). We were presented with a sort of chicken nuggets, tender and crispy, resting over a bed of sweet corn, chopped chilli and other veggies, flavoured with lime juice. It was well presented, however nobody in Spain would have recognized this as coming part of their own tradition, not in the north, south, east, west or the Spanish islands. The cherry on the top was the 'Pork Belly'. We were served 3 chunks of pork belly, tendered by a process of slow cooking, served alongside a triangle of crispy pork belly skin and some roasted vegetables - chicory -, all irrigated with commercial, straight from the bottle, BBQ sauce. I invite you to perform a search on Google with the word 'torrezno', this will give you an idea on how 'pork belly' is served generally across Spain. My recommendation is that you should reflect on whether you want to continue calling yourself a 'Spanish restaurant', or just a 'restaurant' or an 'eclectic-mix tapas bar & restaurant'. The inclusion of a burger on your menu speaks for itself. For further reading, there is a book first published in 1990, The Spanish Kitchen, Nicholas Butcher. The prologue is very interesting, as it perfectly sets out the Spanish culinary culture from an Englishman's perspective. - It should be of great assistance. ************************************************************************ What a great 'hidden gem' here in Bucks. Fabulous atmosphere, great quality Spanish food - croquetas are the real McCoy -, their tapas and portions reflect that effort has been put on every dish (i.e their cheese table, remarkable selection). Keep up the good work 'rubia gallega'.

Fantastic meal, Jack was brilliant looking after us. We were glad we booked, despite being a Monday Night it was very busy which is a testament to the service and food.

Absolutely disgusting, nothing was edible, would put zero if possible. Kebab was pale, uncooked and soggy and for a weird reason covered in a slimy coleslaw which wasn’t stated in the menu. Salad was weird tasting, bland and dry along with being covered in that ghastly and sickly coleslaw. The chips were soggy, soft and DRENCHED in mayo. I also got peri chicken that was again, foul and unpalatable, tasted rubbish and couldn’t trust it after they messed up everything else. Only “good” things was the can of Fanta and the fact I ordered on Uber eats so didn’t have to leave my house.
