No food on site. Great little pub and walking distance to Crawley FC (or Brighton Women). Pool tables and good selection of beers on draught. Small seating area out front.

Called on spec at lunch and everything was superb. Great service, good selection of beers and the food was excellent. That good we went again two days later!

Perfect for Mothering Sunday. We all had whitebait, roast sirloin and apple and pear crumble. Everything home cooked perfectly, they even made thier own tartare sauce. The Landlady and her staff demonstated perfect hospitality and service. They were just delightful. Lovely atmosphere with no shouty people. The village is exquisite with a beautiful river running through it. Quiet and tranquil.

This is my daily routine staff are great. My only complaint is when Costa is used like a mother playgroup, screaming kids no regard for other customers and the absolute mess they leave everywhere for the girls to clean up. Mothers take your kids to playgroup, Not Costa!!

On Saturday the 5th of April. I attended The Old Swan Inn in Llantwit Major for some lunch around 1:30pm after a nice trip down from Lancashire to see some relatives. When I entered the old swan inn I thought wow what a beautiful building amazing atmosphere lovely beer garden. But when it came being served I was so shocked at the way I was treated by the gentleman I asked about the pie filling and what sort of ales were available and other questions about the building. He gave me a weird look then didn’t give me any eye contact for the rest of the time being served felt like a hostile environment with both of the ladies on shift was high spirits laughing and joking and speaking to everyone with respect. When the food came to my table by that same gentleman he placed food down on the table unprofessionally and also did the same with my wife and two children food I asked for sauces for the table and a jug of water and it took him 10 minutes to come back with them by that time we was finished with our food. He just left the sauces and didn’t take our empty plates I looked over towards the bar and he was telling one of the ladies to come to clear our table. And when it came to asking for the bill he almost over charged me and didn’t apologise for mess up. I spoke to some locals before we left and apparently he was a supervisor. I was shocked that he was allowed that title. Not going to mention names but it was the worst service I have ever experienced and I have been in worse places. I will be in shock if he remains in that job. Totally unprofessional behaviour. I did leave a £10 tip for the two ladies who deserves it after putting up with him on shift

Lovely meal with friends. We had a special meal prepared for us which was delicious. Friendly staff and the chef was very happy to replenish our salad.

My food never arrived. I waited well past the expected delivery time, and there was no update or contact from the restaurant or driver. Extremely disappointed.

Really pleased with the food, service and price. As a family of 4, we all ordered different meals from the "2-for" menu - all of which were lovely. The staff were very attentive despite the bar being very busy. Being from outside of the area, it was great to see so many locals, always a sign of a good pub in my option!

Terrible experience. We arrived at 8:00 pm and we’re looking forward to a meal as the place looked fab and we had just arrived on holiday. However on arrival at the bar when we asked for a menu the guy behind the bar said “ we’re not doing food now!” To which I replied “ but the board outside said you serve food until 9:00!”. He replied “ well we’ve been busy today !” A you believe it !!!!!!!! I was at a loss for words but what I should have said is “ surely with the board outside advertising food until 9:00, surely that’s breaking trade descriptions. Appalling attitude !

Been to this place a few times owner goes out of his way to make sure you get the food you want .food is freshly cooked hot and well presented.if your passing stop in you won’t be disappointed. Great food great service and a warm welcome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was a similar quality you'd find in a high end restaurant in London and the service was fantastic. A nice pub with a homely feel! Would highly recommend
