Been to this place a few times owner goes out of his way to make sure you get the food you want .food is freshly cooked hot and well presented.if your passing stop in you won’t be disappointed. Great food great service and a warm welcome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loving the new inside out garden, smoking area very cool. New stage at the front of the venue means more dancing area works much better

Generally OK very quiet for a Saturday night, drinks were fairly priced and staff were friendly.

Nice place, but they hate hats and will ask you to leave if you refuse to take it off. No signs or posters up declaring it. Yes I'm being serious.

Too dark and grimy. Barely anyone in there on a Sat night around 1pm. Music wasn't current either.

This place needs a serious makeover, it's just grubby and the toilets are foul....sorry Ebbie but I think you need to spend a few quid mate

service was absolutely terrible. Waited 15 minutes for drinks menus and another 20 for our drinks to come. The cafe wasn’t busy at all and there were only 3 other groups of people. The waiter/ bartenders Time was spent walking around cluelessly and chatting to friends while we waited for over 35 minutes for 2 drinks. Would NOT recommend and will not be coming back ever again!!!

Incredibly quiet for a Friday evening! Pleasant enough to sit and chat - but lacking in charm or atmosphere.

Want to give this 3.5 really but as you can't do halves on Google then I have to go down rather than up. Lovely service and a decent coffee but an awful couple of cakes. They were obviously a number of days old and very stale. We visited on a Sunday so in some ways it's understandable that a bakery can't be visited. I'd just not do the cakes or offer something shop bought instead if the quality can't be guaranteed to be up to scratch.

Down for the weekend called in and experienced a superb breakfast from very friendly and helpful staff - definitely worth a visit 👍👍

What a brilliant night we had I'm so glad they decided to make this a live band venue. As a follower of live music this is the perfect venue. The drinks are a bit expensive but as the entry is free they have to make their money somehow.

Great food and the atmosphere during the evening is buzzing. During the day it's very mellow and that's good too. A very nice place to eat.

It was okay, we where having a leaving party for one of our colleagues, when there for a couple of drinks but didn't really stay long enough to fully critique the place.

Reasonably priced drinks and open till late on weekends, friendly staff and good for private functions including food and Dj for the night in the back room at decent prices. No complaints.

Not great, but you get what you pay for. Not sure why they have the same cocktails on 2 for 1. Also why is a Screaming Orgasm called a Baby Guinness? The music is not great and makes it difficult to chat. Probably wouldn't go there again. Nice purple lightbulbs

I ate at mendoza this morning, and I ordered the small breakfast that includes tea or coffee. I got my tea before the breakfast, and I had to wait thirty five minutes for the food, so I had practically finished my cuppa before it had arrived. But, the breakfast was nice, although the yolk on the egg was hard, overdone. So a little bit of a shame. Though the staff member serving, was friendly.

Went on Saturday night, great food very pleasant staff. Will definitely go again. We had the pre-theatre menu very reasonably priced.

Had the best time. Called and booked a table of 25. Great and reasonable menu. Speedy service. Attentive staff. Balloons provided for my 8 year old (for his birthday). Smallest serving of wine they show on the drinks menu is 175ml, but when I ordered a small wine from the guy behind the bar, I was given what seemed like a thimbleful. This didn't seem right, so I queried it at the bar and it turned out he had charged me £3.65 for (supposedly) 125ml. A lady behind the bar became involved, and when I asked her why I was charged for such a small measure that wasn't even on the drinks list (albeit it at less than the advertised price for the larger measure), she explained that they have "smaller prices and measures on their till that aren't on the menu". No apology offered either. I chose to pay a small difference for a proper (175ml) measure of a different wine. How can this even be legal? The quality and quantity of the food was nothing special for the money either. By half way through the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger, I was starting to wonder how McDonald's a few doors away would have compared. Wouldn't go there again, being left with the feeling that they take advantage of customers who don't request or check their bill.

Café Mendoza is a lovely bar in the heart of Aylesbury town centre. I enjoy going here for lunch, the wraps are tasty, filling and reasonably priced. The same with the pizza, my favourite being the Chicken Caesar pizza, oozing with flavour and perfect for lunch. The WIFI is really good too so if you have any business to catch up on, you can make the most of it.

Made a midweek visit on a Wednesday evening and left disappointed. There wasn't more than four customers in the bar, the Guinness I ordered was off and ale took a ridiculous time to be prepared. The place was clearly undergoing some sort of makeover, at least that's what I hope as there was MDF rails and suchlike on show. Doubt I'll ever return, unless I hear it's made a dramatic improvement.

Fantastic food, you will not get better in Aylesbury in my experience. The English breakfast is superb along with the pizzas and the steaks. Also great on a Friday and Saturday night with 2 rooms open with different styles of music.

Food is not much cop and service is slow

Mendoza used to have a good reputation. What has happened? Went in for lunch today and I can honestly say I wish we hadn't. The service was so slow it was unbelievable. One lady waited for over 10 minutes for a cup of coffee. This would be acceptable if they were busy but the place was almost empty. To make it worse the food was totally bland. No seasoning at all. The pasta was over cooked and absolutely tasteless. My wife said the same. The only part of the meal with any flavour was the little piece of garlic bread. We will not be visiting again.

Whilst I really enjoyed the Brush Party, the cafe wasn't in darknes. I think this was do to works being carried out on the road outside. The Brush Party went ahead, but only one person at the bar and just felt a bit pokey. May try again when it's in the main part of the cafe and they have lights!

My partner ignored me for a pretty face chatting up a Greek women who works they're, high fived her while ignoring me the whole evening. Although his fault ultimately, that women should respect people who are in relationships and stop flirting back. Poor professional behaviour, must make these types of women feel better when disrespecting others in this manner, I would never treat another women in this way or partner.
