Great food and excellent service

Such a lovely place for dinner! So friendly and we had such a wonderful time, and the food is amazing and great value for money!! Definitely a fantastic local restaurant. Gabriele was amazing

First visit. Very impressed. Really good seafood risotto full of flavour with plenty of perfectly cooked shellfish. The service and prices were great.

This is a classic Italian restaurant with nice vegetarian options and relatively reasonable prices. Our waiter was charming, the food was copious if a little rich, and we enjoyed a nicely selected wine. If in town, I’ll definitely go back.

Ordered through Deliveroo and waited for over an hour longer than the estimated delivery time. Tried to call them but could not get through. Contacted Deliveroo and was told that La Salute had cancelled my order without telling me.

Highly recommend coming here. The food people and service was fabulous! Very authentic Italian dining. Will definitely be coming back, 10/10 from us!

Been here a few times. The food has always been great tasting and good value. However, service and atmosphere really let the place down. Zero atmosphere. We actually joked about bringing our own background music. A front window was smashed and there was a massive puddle of water on the floor on the table next to us. Unfortunately the chap serving us had minimal experience and looked extremely disinterested. Shame the atmosphere and service didn't match the food. Lots of potential with a few tweaks

My favourite restaurant in Aylesbury. I repeatedly visit due to the consistently good food, comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. I have tried the pizza and multiple pasta dishes, all have been excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and lovely food. They source really good ingredients from a good local deli who import straight from Italy and everything is cooked beautifully! We had multiple dishes and every one was a hit, the pizzas are beautiful, the pastas are bursting with flavour, the tiramisu is beautiful and light. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our night, thank you, and fantastic value for money! Keep it up, you are a credit to the town honestly!

Possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had (Volcano - lived up to its name.. 😳) Good job we booked as there was no tables for several groups who hadn't. Great value as well. Thank you

Good place to have Italian if near by. Must recommend veg pasta with add on vegetables should be the element which you should order. Some time veg will delight your tast bites.

Nice Italian restaurant. Went there with a good friend of mine for a catch up. Had a lovely prawn in rich tomato sauce starter with Artisan bread, and a delicious creamy mushroom pasta main course. Followed by pistachio and lovely strawberry ice-cream. Would recommend 🙂

Everything was Ok to good but no more The food is good they service is ok but the place itself needs a spruce up. The toilets need revamping and the decor is tired. The staff are friendly and trained reasonably well the menu is broad and the actual food quite fair.

I have been eating at La Salute for years. I have to say that recently there has been an improvement in service and quality since Gabriele has been managing. Gabriele is professional, friendly and i appreciate his work. I would recommend a visit. Pizzas are delicious!

We visited this lovely restaurant after visiting Aylesbury for the weekend. Greeted by the staff when we arrived. We sat in the window and after a quick read through the menu we ordered a bottle of primitivo (a very good red!) to begin with. Our starters included the rosemary focaccia to go with the cáprese salad & the aubergine in the Napoli sauce. Both were really nice. We then had the chicken in mushroom sauce and my favourite the veal. All was very nice and the roasted potatoes were very moreish! We finished off with a Limoncello & a double espresso with a drop of grappa. Food was great, all the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Grazie mille!

I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery. I am italian and I was very hopeful looking at the photos. What I received was not pizza! The photos are deceiving... Do not order from here.

Pizzas delivered 30 mins late, squashed and lukewarm. Conflicting stories between driver (particularly unhelpful) and restaurant. Promised refund after complaint. Phoned further two times after no refund received and promised it would be actioned. 11 days later and still no refund. Dishonest or incompetent. Shame, as pizzas on collection previously good. Posted review on Google yesterday and received a very standard 'we value your feedback' response, but nothing addressing refund. To the owner: I'll keep posting this review on different sites until you refund me (or at least tell me what you're doing about it).

We booked to make sure we had a table as it was a Friday night but ended up getting there early - this was not a problem at all and we were seated straightaway. By about 7pm though it was pretty busy so would still recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Our whole experience there was great - the staff were friendly and pleasant, the food menu had a good amount of choices to suit everyone's taste and the overall atmosphere was really welcoming and nice. The food was plentiful, hot and very tasty and the service was neither slow or rushed. This was our first visit here and based on our experience we will definitely go back, and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Had diner there on a Thursday early evening. Wife and I had pizza and daughter the lasagne. Very tasty pizza, lovely dough, very pleasant and friendly waiter. 5 stars from us.

If I could give zero stars I would, this was our first experience with this restaurant and it was for my husbands birthday. Ordered two pizzas to have for dinner to celebrate and after ordering at 6:30, our food was delivered at 9 pm and ice cold!!! I called multiple times to get updates, there was a man on the phone that said he would call me back with an update from the driver but he never did! I phoned half hour later to find out our order hadn’t even left with a driver! The service over the phone was poor and I had to keep calling to get updates. I then got told I would get a call the next morning from their manager to speak to me about the issue and he never called either! Never had such a bad customer service experience! The pizza was way too salty and well, it was frozen by the time it got to us. It has ruined the evening I planned for my hus and and I and I will not recommend this place to anyone going forward.

This was my first visit. Very impressed with the service which was really personal and attentive. As an Italian myself, I'm a bit fussy about my pizzas, but this one really lived up to expectations - it was delicious and enormous!! I will definitely be making another visit.

Great little restaurant in the town centre. Could do with a porch to stop the cold wind coming in during the winter, and waited a while to pay the bill, but otherwise zero complaints. Lively atmosphere, great tasting food, and definitely has an Italian air to it. A lot of the food tasted to me like it was freshly made. Will be back again.

I ordered a Tiramisu and was awfull ,didn't taste at all like Tiramisu, no coffee,no mascarpone,and on the top was cinnamon which was horrible, and the cream was made from milk and gris. All this for 7.95.

Four of us ate. None of us were impressed with our food. The Penne Salmon Pasta was without salmon, even allowing for the fact that the salmon was flaked. The Cannoli Pasta seemed to be filled with sausage meat? The staff were not receptive to our feedback. The food whilst not awful did not justify the price tag.

Not from around here but fancied a proper Italian pizza! The food looked good online, but collected a very dissapointing pizza. The dough wasn't fresh and the pizza was bland unfortunately, looked and tasted like a pizza you'd buy from the supermarket 🙄

Nice family fun restaurant. With Italian food, although a possibly French name. Freshly made food, and was able to cater for dietary requirements. Pricing was ok, although drinks were quite expensive. Really friendly service and was able to make dishes that accommodated our needs.

The food here is good and the service is fast and friendly, however we were sat at a table for 2 in the window and the sun was shining through, it was ridiculously warm. Better air conditioning and sun blinds would be good. The toilet facilities could do with some T.L.C. as well.

The food was nice but the waiter was almost non existent. Other than one other couple it was empty. I like to big up the staff in my reviews but this guy was appalling.

We booked for a pre theatre dinner, it was a cute little place & we had a delightful young waiter. Unfortunately they had had work done over the weekend which meant a limited menu. However limited we all enjoyed our selections which actually tasted of authentic Italian cuisine.

The pizza I had was reasonably nice however the amount of salt that was in it must have been horrendous as woke up at 04:00hrs so thirsty I drank a litre of water straight down.

I had a pizza there yesterday, and it was fantastic. The best pizza I've had was in dubrovnik old town. La Salute came a close second. Sorry guys. 😀

A really lovely meal, best quality and most friendly staff.

Undoubtedly excellent pizzas. The menu has a lot of good choices of other food too, including vegetarian and vegan options. Lots of dessert and drink choices. The chefs are from Napoli so that may be why the food is so authentic. We were too full for dessert this time but we previously ate panettone with coffee, and it was lovely. The servers are accommodating and friendly. Service is good and we didn't wait long. Prices are not cheap, but they are fair. The decor is basic but comfortable. The main door doesn't seem to close properly, so make sure you don't sit near it on a cold day. The background music was slightly surreal, but not intrusive. Parking is adequate nearby and there are lots of bars and takeaways in the area too.

Dinner as a first time visitor was not bad... Restaurant was busy with a lot of laughter to be heard. Waitress was attentive, portions were good, good was tasty without being superb

Placed an order on the app, called to see where it was and was told they don't use the app. A few minutes later when searching for the order it was accepted. Will not be ordering from there again which is a shame as the food was quite good.

We order from here monthly (maybe more), and we have never had anything but perfect food. The staff are always very friendly.

The food here is lovely. We probably eat here once a month and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Can be draughty near the door tho! However I could not recommend takeaway - had it once and it was poor quality and erring towards cool.

We went because children loved it first time and they wanted to go back. But second time wasn't great welcome so we decided to walkway. Sad

Kudos to the team for accommodating us at short notice and at an already busy time. The food arrived quickly and was excellent with great tasting lasagne and cannelloni with a seasonal pumpkin pizza as the winner. Excellent value. Can't recommend enough.

Had bottomless antipasti and prosecco, the food was amazing could not fault, massive portions of breads cheeses meats Olives, and always happy to give more of anything if wanted. Had plenty of prosecco as well. Service was great and I can't wait to try for dinner.
