this was a poor meal today normally it is good

Terrible food quality compared with our local Marino fish bar. Won’t be using again

lovely scampi and chips. cannot be faulted

We have ordered many times before from this place and the food quality is great and on time. This time the food was not that good, and we were told it would be with us by 7pm and it arrived at 8.07pm! So two kebabs and chips took almost two hours to get to us, when we live 5 mins from the shop. Sadly, probably won’t order again from here.

Ordered doner & chips x2 - did not enjoy unfortunately. The chips were undercooked & the kebab was dry,

Asked for humus and pita bread paid then got told you can have it this time but next time you've got to buy a full meal. We'll sorry I'm not being strong armed into buying what I don't need or want. Won't be returning here any more bad attitude and business

Has Marino fish bars been taken over!!!! It’s really not the same fish full of batter and very greasy

The food was very poorly wrapped and presented all the chips were stuck to the paper they were wrapped in . It took forever to pick them all off and caused a huge mess! I asked for salt and vinegar and got none . The chips were bone dry and tasteless. Based on this experience I will never ever order from any Marinos in Maidstone again it is by far the worse chippy I have ever encountered. It’ seems nobody has any pride in their products or presentation anymore despite the ridiculous price

We ordered at half 6, it turned up at 8. That would be perfectly acceptable if the food was great. It was at best average. The fish was lukewarm and hard, as were the chips. £45 for this.

Terrible. We waited a hour and a half for our order. I have no problem with this at all if the food turns up perfect. It didn’t. Fish and the chips were rock hard and lukewarm. We paid £45 for the “privilege” of a long wait for not great food.

Food was awful , for the amount of money you’re paying you would expect better quality , paid £8 for a large chips it only went between two people . Battered sausages were over cooked and left in the heater , recieved them rock hard , all the food was warm but dry . Would not recommend.

Last evening I ordered a medium sized cod and got it home to discover it was all batter with very little fish. I have never been disappointed with any previous piece of fish from this shop except on this occasion when I was unable to find sufficient to eat. Fortunately I ordered a large portion of chips and without these I certainly would have remained hungry. If this is what customers can expect then I intend to go elsewhere in future.

Amazing! We had the Greek boxes and they were all delicious. Fresh salad, chips and perfectly cooked chicken. All hot and ready to collect. The special house sauce is very tasty!

Food was not delivered despite being marked as delivered

Have been ordering from Marino for a while, highly recommend the Thai honey chicken, absolutely delicious! Tried the donner kebab in a pitta today, and have been craving the perfect kebab since moving to the area 2 years ago. Marino has blown away all expectations, and hit that craving I have had for so long, no other local even competes with food quality or taste. Thank you Marino, definitely our favourite local by a long shot!

Fast delivery.Lovely hot meals ordered and well packaged.Fresh salad and a good portion of chips.I loved the curry sauce which came hot.A lovely meal for myself tonight . I will order the Donor kebab again as was delicious and hot.

Food was cold, delivery bag not sealed, battered mushrooms and scampi inedible and uncooked, I’m pregnant so this is incredibly dangerous and could harm my baby.

Honestly amazing service! Ordered a large cod but they had run out so they gave me two massive pieces of ‘small’ cod instead. Food was also piping hot when it arrived

I've had food there before and it was lovely. This time, not so much. We had to dry the fish off because it was so greasy, the chips were tasteless and the curry sauce could have plastered a wall!. I doubt I'll be back..

They got the order wrong and didn’t realise til I got home. Poor value for money. Inflated prices simply because it’s Bearsted, better off going to chippy at Madginford less the 1/2 mile away which is cheaper by about 20% and better. Yet again bearsted residents being ripped off because of their postcode

Brought cod bite and chips no fish in bites all batter waste of £8 very poor

Usually 100 % but I had a horrible bit of cod this week.

I get a business can close whenever they want. But 20 mins early is upsetting. What makes it worse is the staff inside just laughed when I tried the door and it was locked.

Never arrived i asked for a refund and still havnt heard anything

Picked up some extra crispy chips ( on request today) and was not disappointed. We'll done but not too oily , good portion and very friendly staff. Highly recommend

Sadly we had two things missing, which ruined my daughters and our dinner, as we then had to cook her something, and ours went cold. Never had anything missing from here before, so a real shame. Been credited, but takeaway night ruined. Hopefully won’t happen again, as we love this chippy.

both kebabs had red cabbage only and no salad as ordered so tasted horrible. Chips were hard and covered in crispy batter bits from fish, and we hadnt ordered fish. Salad has been missed before and is a major part of kebab so not happy.

Cold food slimey cucumbers no where near as good as normal

Chips were very fresh for a change and tasty. However, the fish batter was hard and crazily oversalted - didn’t ask for salt unless it’s in the batter - never ever had hard batter from a fish n chip place. Theres mega crispy but then there is hard almost stale batter unless it has been lying around for a while. Disappointed kids refused to eat it. Def avoid now would try to support local.

I always order via the app. However tonight despite ordering 35 minutes before I wanted to pick up I still had to wait 15 minutes when I arrived! It doesn't matter if you order and pay in advance because they serve the waiting queue first. Their excuse was they were very busy. I accept that but why did they continue to accept online orders? On top of that the pie was stone cold. We will be going elsewhere next time.

Awful food. This used to be a good fish and chip takeaway but standards seemed to have going way down. Chips were just one huge clump and extremely greasy. This is the 3rd time it has disappointed - won’t be using again

After a tough weekend we decided on a treat my wife had fish and chips and I went for the burger, decent size portions and a tasty burger but the chilli sauce was a bit too sweet for me

Thought we would give marinos at Bearsted a try ordered 1 small cod 1 plqin jumbsausage and large chips. total cost 15,45. It was very poor quality chips were awful a lot of black on the chips where they had not been peeled properly tasted awful the fish was very dry sausage okish, for what we paid it was very dissappointing, we won't be going back.

Ordered mine by phone ready in 20 minutes. Service was fast. 2 Large Cod and chips was enough for 4 people. No more expensive than other places. We'll prepared and cooked. Enjoyed by all. I would recommend Marinos.

Ordered when it said 25-35 minutes, time kept going up and finally arrived 2 hours later. Pitta like cardboard, meat cold and no salad. Have ordered from Marino’s many times but usually collect, food is always good. This is the first time I’ve ordered via just eat. Won’t be doing that again

2nd time,chips were awful,worst chips I have had in any chip shop. Chicken kebab was tough ,big chunks How anyone keeps going back is beyond me,that's it for me and it was expensive

We bought fish and chips 25th May. The fish was not fresh probably frozen . The chips were awful all soggy most of it went in the bin.

Unfortunately our fish and chips ordered 12.05.24 was totally digusting, the fish batter was so soggy it was stuck to paper we ended up loosing half the batter on both fish, & the chips were rock hard and under cooked. It was an expensive order too approx £40. In my eyes way to over overpriced and unfortunately will be not be returning again, I wish i had read the negative reviews on here before ordering.

Our 2 chicken shish kebabs were horrible as salad was missed but red cabbage included, they tasted weird, not nice at all. So that's £24 pounds worth and looks like Just Eat will only refund for one. I phoned Marinos but they told me Just Eat have to deal with it which is too late for our treat take away, not happy at all, ruined dinner and all cost sixty pounds!

Great food . Freshly cooked fish . And they burgers aswell as very tasty kebab . Does get very busy on Friday early evening. But have plenty of friendly staff to serve . Highly recommend 👌

Haven’t ordered from here for a while, have to say was totally amazed, the cod was cooked perfectly. Soft and fluffy inside, accompanied by golden crispy chips. Went down a treat!

I asked for salt and vinegar, granted they gave me salt and vinegar but must of had the lid fall off the salt and left it overpowering and couldn’t eat it , fish batter was soggy also real shame as haven’t eaten at marinos for a long time and always rated it .

Had Cod and chips and it was disgusting! Tasted like old fish left over from lunch time. Batter was hard and fish was brown round the outside and dry. NEVER NEVER GOING AGAIN

I ordered here before a month ago, and was good, so ordered again, but one of the Cod was obviously reheated, and was dry and inedible. What a shame.

Food is excellent. Always value for money. As with many takeaways the delivery apps now mean it takes longer to get served in person. Although I had to wait I felt that Rose gave very good service. Deducted a star for the wait.

Not good Christmas eve just a simple order baterd sausage and chips had to wait for sausage to be cooked then it went to someone else cooked again then went to deliver roo finally got my order after 26min no apology from owner just thank for waiting 40 years been using shop it will be the last

The order was cold on arrival and the chips were soggy . The fish was very greasy and the vegan burger was over cooked and hard at the edges. I am very disappointed with the order.
