The foood this time wasn’t as good as previous times

We put the correct address, I checked where the driver was. location pin for was not our address , but somewhere else village. The driver drove around the village. We are easy to find on google maps. The contact number on our ticket was wrong. GDPR

meal luke warm and fish was dry and did not taste fresh. peas horrible but gravy, tasty. Will not order again

No point ordering won't start working on it until you get there. Ridiculous price. Never going back would give 0 if I could. Over £5 for a large chips which isn't enough for two people Rip off

Only recently discovered Marino's but it will be the go to now. Best quality fish and chips we've had in a long time.

£7.50 for large chips and the box contained about 45 chips. half the size of every other chip shop in Maidstone's large chips.

Always lovely and fresh and arrives with in the time stated. Highly recommended.

Food wasn’t ready when arrived to collect it despite tracking saying it was ready for collection. Had to wait an extra 20 minutes

Upon arrival had high hopes as the place was well kept however when placing order, staff showed lack of interest and asked us twice to confirm our order before payment however given half our order wrong food, didn’t notice until we got home, overall lovely food though

2nd time I've used Marino's. 1st time was excellent so wondered if it would be as good. It was even better!! Fish in a separate box, lovely and crispy! Best fish and chips I've had in Maidstone area! Will be my go to chippie for our occasional treat!!

Absolutely love this chippy the best one by far, I travel a bit further out than my local as this one never disappoints on quality and portion size, staff are attentive and friendly, food always tastes incredible whether I have a quick snack or feed the family for a treat, my favourite is the fish so meaty and perfect batter, burgers and Greek corner are insane, if you haven’t been here it’s well worth a visit

Best chip shop around I have tried a few, love the halloumi kebabs, chips are always generously portioned and always piping hot, my friends love the fish and burgers also, nice atmosphere friendly, smiling staff always attentive, highly recommend

Ordered on just eat at 5:30pm, order was accepted, estimated time of arrival at 6:15. At 6:15 it changed to 6:40 and went back to “preparing your order, courier at restaurant” and at 6:40 they cancelled the order and refunded. Tried calling the restaurant number 5 times at 6:30 for an update and kept cutting me off. Won’t be using again, and wouldn’t advise using delivery websites, pick up in person or not at all. Very angry about this as we have kids that needed feeding and are now having to try and make something quickly for them to eat before bed time due to the time. Not impressed by poor service and very poor communication.

Quite literally the best Cod and Chips for over 20 years. The chips were perfectly cooked, the cod was tasty pure white and the batter was light and crispy. Perfect 👌

Medium Chips is very small especially for £4.80..A real shame because the Greek chicken kebabs are great.

We have ordered food about 4 times and it has always arrived on time or before , it is always fresh and still hot. Would definitely recommend very tasty food.

Pre ordered fish and chips for 25 last weekend for a Friday evening delivery to Glamping @ Rankins Farm, not only were all the meals delicious, they also arrived nice and hot, delivered right to our outside tables and were thoughtful enough to included salt and vinegar for us. Highly recommend this place - we'll def be ordering again next time we visit the area. Thank you!

Popped in Saturday night for a big family order. Service was great and the food was delightful. Fish cooked to perfection. My new favourite fish and chip shop.

It says on the wall that they don't serve fast food, they serve good food as fast as they can - I kept telling myself this and that I had to be patient, but 25mins to wait for just a portion of chips is actually - good food served slightly too slowly.. #just saying.

The staff were friendly and polite. But the food was very underwhelming the sausage was overcooked brown and burnt so was the fish and very dry. The chips were very soggy. also had to wait about 15 minutes for the privilege, Won’t be going back there again, unfortunately.

We couldn't fault the food. It was freshly cooked and as we reordered, it wasn't served until we arrived, which, 1) was a pleasant change, and, 2) meant it stayed hot until we got home, 6 miles away, through bendy country roads. The servers were polite, greeted me with a smile,that made me feel welcome. Definitely worth a visit, and, they won't break the bank either.

Ordered ahead as knew it would be busy. Arrived early and waited outside. The place was heaving, order was marked ready to collect, but it wasn’t ready. Waited 50 minutes for my order, while all the walk ins collected thier food. Why pay an extra 35% on an app for the convenience of a collection, then be made to wait

They do not stick to collection times, you pay well over the odds to use the app to order collection in advance of arrival! To be made to wait 50 minutes after collection is marked ready, and every walk in has ordered and recieved thier food, is NOT acceptable.

Hi we had a delivery from Cox heath Marinofish and chips tonight and may we say ! Fantastic absolutely fantastic, two small cod and one chips , cod came to us in perfect condition crispy and it's not oily and hot and very flavoursome, chips perfect and hot . Will be have them again that's for shore . Thank you to the team and to just eat delivery perfect in every way .

left my cod out of order ,would not rectify their mistake,took my money didn't and wouldn't deliver product, will never use again, zero customer service

Expensive for stingy portion size and mediocre food that was definitely not freshly cooked. Very disappointing and not worth the money. Will not be going again, would prefer to cook my own from frozen in my air fryer. At least it would taste fresh....and hot.

We pre-ordered 12 fish and chip suppers to collect for our post choir practice get together. All correct and ready exactly on time and meals were excellent and very generously proportioned. Staff very friendly and accommodating and even helped carry the food to the car. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Long wait even though empty. Ordered large cod and chips for two 6:30pm. Two minute drive home. Fish tasty and hot.Chips barely room temperature, only about 30 per cent what can be described as chips, the rest made up of ends and slivers. The chips had either been left over from earlier and reheated slightly or chip oil was kept too low. However "Milo" my springer spaniel enjoyed them. AVOID!

Good fish and chip shop. Good range of chip chop favourites plus, burger and kebabs. Generous portions, so depending on appetite, you can share chips between two people.

This is my new favourite chippy around. Everything I have ordered from here has been great. My staple order is a greek kebab and chips. Prices here are a little high, but with the amount of staff they are employing to deal with the queues, this is something im ok with.

Food took a while to get here after leaving restaurant but was lovely when it did!

Such a shame, presentation looked amazing for the chicken shish, but it came cold and the chicken felt a bit uncooked in places! Put me off and didn’t end up eating it as I’m pregnant. :’(

For a Marinos, the food was very disappointing! I guess it depends on which Marinos you go to or, in this case, get delivery from. Won't order again.

I must say - the food is great; it’s fresh and tasty and I have no issues there (although the sausages make greggs quality look like harrods but they are still tasty!) My issue is price and service… I rang ahead to place an order and was told 15 mins to collect, I queried that that seemed too quick and was told no it’ll be 15 mins. Arrived on time to find my order hadn’t even been started and had to wait another 25 mins in store… on top of this I find the price - especially on the chips - to be astronomical. The portion sizes are pretty meagre for the price - a small portion didn’t even cover the base of the polystyrene tray and the large (at over £5) was certainly not value for money. I’m not stingy when it comes to paying for good food, but service is far too slow and disorganised and I feel that the chip price is pretty much a rip-off.

Not impressed. The medium cod was really small. Felt like a waste of money. Not even big enough to be sold as a small. Feel reaped.

I’ve now become a regular here. Staff always friendly and food is amazing. Always a good sign when they are super busy especially on Fridays. Great addition to Coxheath.

Our favourite local chippy, and they’ve nailed the delivery too! We don’t normally get chips delivered because they’re always a bit cold and not at their best. We decided to take a chance on Marinos and didn’t regret it - food has arrived so hot that I’m writing this while I wait for it to cool down. Brilliant service and really tasty.

The food is always very good and just right to eat. They must have been very busy so the fish and chips arrived a little late. This wasn’t a problem for me and I accept that when a business is busy things don’t go to plan. It certainly wouldn’t stop me from using them again. Why would I stop using the best fish and chip shop around. I can put up with a bit of delay if the food is good and the food is very very good.

If I could give you 10 stars it wouldn't be enough I've finished my fish and chips and enjoyed every mouthful. The fish wasn't greasy and the batter was so crispy and all hot Thank you very much to whoever cooked me tea tonight. x
