It says on the wall that they don't serve fast food, they serve good food as fast as they can - I kept telling myself this and that I had to be patient, but 25mins to wait for just a portion of chips is actually - good food served slightly too slowly.. #just saying.

The staff were friendly and polite. But the food was very underwhelming the sausage was overcooked brown and burnt so was the fish and very dry. The chips were very soggy. also had to wait about 15 minutes for the privilege, Won’t be going back there again, unfortunately.

Another excellent meal from George and his team always friendly and willing to have a chat when the rush was over been going there since they opened

We couldn't fault the food. It was freshly cooked and as we reordered, it wasn't served until we arrived, which, 1) was a pleasant change, and, 2) meant it stayed hot until we got home, 6 miles away, through bendy country roads. The servers were polite, greeted me with a smile,that made me feel welcome. Definitely worth a visit, and, they won't break the bank either.

Excellent fish and chips were fresh too. Will be ordering from these guys again.

The driver was a joker he had all the jokes and actually delivered the food on time. All the food was fantatastic

They do not stick to collection times, you pay well over the odds to use the app to order collection in advance of arrival! To be made to wait 50 minutes after collection is marked ready, and every walk in has ordered and recieved thier food, is NOT acceptable.

Ordered ahead as knew it would be busy. Arrived early and waited outside. The place was heaving, order was marked ready to collect, but it wasn’t ready. Waited 50 minutes for my order, while all the walk ins collected thier food. Why pay an extra 35% on an app for the convenience of a collection, then be made to wait

Hi we had a delivery from Cox heath Marinofish and chips tonight and may we say ! Fantastic absolutely fantastic, two small cod and one chips , cod came to us in perfect condition crispy and it's not oily and hot and very flavoursome, chips perfect and hot . Will be have them again that's for shore . Thank you to the team and to just eat delivery perfect in every way .

Expensive for stingy portion size and mediocre food that was definitely not freshly cooked. Very disappointing and not worth the money. Will not be going again, would prefer to cook my own from frozen in my air fryer. At least it would taste fresh....and hot.

left my cod out of order ,would not rectify their mistake,took my money didn't and wouldn't deliver product, will never use again, zero customer service

We pre-ordered 12 fish and chip suppers to collect for our post choir practice get together. All correct and ready exactly on time and meals were excellent and very generously proportioned. Staff very friendly and accommodating and even helped carry the food to the car. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Long wait even though empty. Ordered large cod and chips for two 6:30pm. Two minute drive home. Fish tasty and hot.Chips barely room temperature, only about 30 per cent what can be described as chips, the rest made up of ends and slivers. The chips had either been left over from earlier and reheated slightly or chip oil was kept too low. However "Milo" my springer spaniel enjoyed them. AVOID!

Good fish and chip shop. Good range of chip chop favourites plus, burger and kebabs. Generous portions, so depending on appetite, you can share chips between two people.

This is my new favourite chippy around. Everything I have ordered from here has been great. My staple order is a greek kebab and chips. Prices here are a little high, but with the amount of staff they are employing to deal with the queues, this is something im ok with.

Food took a while to get here after leaving restaurant but was lovely when it did!

Such a shame, presentation looked amazing for the chicken shish, but it came cold and the chicken felt a bit uncooked in places! Put me off and didn’t end up eating it as I’m pregnant. :’(

Food was brilliant! Lovely fish and chips, Just eat appalling! Waited an hour for delivery , gave up and went to get it ourselves, Marinos very kindly cooked a fresh meal as just eat were useless !

For a Marinos, the food was very disappointing! I guess it depends on which Marinos you go to or, in this case, get delivery from. Won't order again.

I must say - the food is great; it’s fresh and tasty and I have no issues there (although the sausages make greggs quality look like harrods but they are still tasty!) My issue is price and service… I rang ahead to place an order and was told 15 mins to collect, I queried that that seemed too quick and was told no it’ll be 15 mins. Arrived on time to find my order hadn’t even been started and had to wait another 25 mins in store… on top of this I find the price - especially on the chips - to be astronomical. The portion sizes are pretty meagre for the price - a small portion didn’t even cover the base of the polystyrene tray and the large (at over £5) was certainly not value for money. I’m not stingy when it comes to paying for good food, but service is far too slow and disorganised and I feel that the chip price is pretty much a rip-off.

Not impressed. The medium cod was really small. Felt like a waste of money. Not even big enough to be sold as a small. Feel reaped.

Our favourite local chippy, and they’ve nailed the delivery too! We don’t normally get chips delivered because they’re always a bit cold and not at their best. We decided to take a chance on Marinos and didn’t regret it - food has arrived so hot that I’m writing this while I wait for it to cool down. Brilliant service and really tasty.

The food is always very good and just right to eat. They must have been very busy so the fish and chips arrived a little late. This wasn’t a problem for me and I accept that when a business is busy things don’t go to plan. It certainly wouldn’t stop me from using them again. Why would I stop using the best fish and chip shop around. I can put up with a bit of delay if the food is good and the food is very very good.

If I could give you 10 stars it wouldn't be enough I've finished my fish and chips and enjoyed every mouthful. The fish wasn't greasy and the batter was so crispy and all hot Thank you very much to whoever cooked me tea tonight. x

Chicken kebab was absolutely delicious! Super fresh salad and perfectly cooked chicken, fish and chips on the same order were also excellent quality.

I came here with some friends and I can say this is the best fish shop around. I had a couple burgers and a cod and it was all cooked to perfection! Staff were all really welcoming. An honest 10/10 :)

Arranged a preorder for 66 meals on Saturday, throughout discussions and ordering in advance the team couldn't be more helpful. On the day they helped load up the car with the orders. All food was well prepared and delicious. Thanks for everything you did

Not good for us but we are currently addicted to this place. The chips and curry sauce are so good, as is the chicken kebab. Always on time and always hot. Regular customers now!

Delivered was on time and still a nice temperature. Pie was good and not soggy. Chips where good too although I prefer a child’s/small portion of chips. A good first experience 👍

Just got a medium cod and it was the size of a fishfinger. Can’t imagine what the small is like. Hasn’t really been that good the few times I’ve been in there.

Thei strapline above the counter says everything is freshly cooked. I bought a small cod and chips. The batter was greasy and flat and the chips wrinkled and dry … clearly not freshly cooked heated up food I rang to complain and because the person on the phone said he didnt understand me i took the half eaten mess back. The short guy behind the counter was very rude very bad attitude and actually threw the food up my back as I was leaving all the tome shouting out derogatory words shockingly bad service and behaviour

I've been visiting here since our local Chippie got taken over and I must say these guys are a cut from the rest, always polite, enjoy a natter and work very well together as a team! The menu is great with Burgers (JD is my fav), kebabs (Pork one delish), kids meals and also your usual fish n chips. It's always fresh and they will grill your cod if you ask too! I have recommended these guys to a few people now and all agree it's great to finally find the one place that you know you wont be disappointed with. Kudos to team,

Visited here tonight after seeing the half price chips advertised on Facebook for the shops 1st birthday. Enjoyed being served by the lovely Lisa and the younger girl who was washing the floor when I arrived (sorry I didn't catch your name but loved meeting you). Had freshly cooked rock and chips with a buttered roll. Forgot to order curry sauce so that's a good excuse to visit again soon to see what the chips are like with curry sauce though they were ever so nice this time anyway. Great to meet the team and hope to see you all again soon.

We've Ordered Many Times From Marino In The Past Year & Have Never Had A Bad Meal. The Portion Sizes Are Very Generous & Everything Is Fresh & So Reasonably Priced. Our Favourites Are The Marino Burger & The Chicken Kebabs Oh And The Chips Are So Old School Just How We Like Them. We're So Glad Marino Was Added To Our Village!!

Been in here a few times now and have to say I won't go to another fish and chip shop, the food in here is insane especially the sexy Greek kebabs perfect cook generous amounts of food all the time my other favourites are the new loaded chips and love the chicken halloumi burgers, the chips are always fresh and the customer service is excellent, the staff are friendly the shop is clean I can't recommend this chippy enough

I’m so glad I walked out of two other establishments - one because they only serve large cod at £8, and the other because nobody came to the counter to serve me. At Mariano’s I was welcomed by two friendly faces and I had a choice of small, medium or large cod. I took the small cod that was ready. It was still very fresh and delicious.

They were very busy, which to me, is always a good sign. The food was fresh, plentiful, and very delicious. This is now our go to fish and chip restaurant

No ordinary fish and chip shop!! I would consider myself somewhat a connoisseur of a takeaway having had more than my fair share. I don't usually leave reviews either! But.... This place is absolutely the best takeaway in the Maidstone area. From the cleanliness of the shop to the super accomodating and personable staff always laughing and happy and can have a genuine conversation showing interest in what you are saying (not just shop talk) The food selection is fantastic and I cannot explain the quality of flavour and freshness I tried the new donor loaded chips layers of cheese fresh spring onions the absolute works! I also had a monster of a 12oz burger which eclipsed a five guys in flavour size as well as presentation! But ... The speciality of this place is their Greek chicken kebabs .... Plain and simply try them I have no issue hesitating to say again this is the best food I have had and cannot be classed as takeaway food. It's prepared by clearly skilled people GET DOWN THERE

Kebabs from here are outstanding! (Definitely recommend the pita sauce) had some haddock too, best fish I’ve had in a while :). Staff are really friendly too would 100% come here again!

Came in with a few friends and got a variation of items of the menu to try, food was all delicious Chips were amazing!

Bought chips early evening to go with our own pre-cooked fish (which was delicious) at teatime. Sadly, this is the 3rd time I have purchased chips only, and 2 of the 3 times were at best lukewarm and looked like leftovers from lunchtime. We thought we would give them one more chance, but won't go in again as £4.20 is steep for this kind of offering. We had hoped for better when they moved into the village, gave them a couple of chances to improve but they obviously haven't. Quite sad really!

Ordered 30 portions of fish and chips for our Ladies Group. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was all ready on time and the food was delicious and plenty of it. Highly recommend the Coxheath Fish and Grill.. We will be back.
