Lovely traditional little pub. We visited at christmas it was lovely. The staff - Sam and Luca, were brilliant, attentive and friendly they went above and beyond with their service - keep hold of them!
Lovely pub, staff really friendly and helpfull . Our food was hot and delicious .
We just happened to go when there was football on !! It was very loud and busy ,but the staff tried to help by turning g down on speaker which was above our heads . But good to see people enjoying local hospitality . It didn't spoil our evening - but something to consider.
Delicious and super tasty fresh food paired with great customer service! As a Mediterranean person myself, I love the variety of fresh salads and grilled meat, which is impossible to find in any other Didcot takeaway. The guys that work there are super friendly, kind, and try to please every customer. My 9-year-old was looking at the baklava and they gave him a whole pot for free to try. He was super impressed with how kind they were. Portions are big and the food is always fresh and hot every time we have had it. It feels healthy and clean! Best takeaway in town! Keep doing what you do best, Istanbul! Highly recommend this place!
Second time trying this place and What is this meat great big chunks, I think it’s all off cuts burnt and all the meat that drops to the bottom absolutely appalled by this worst kebab ever! Looks like dog food

Im a veggie so obviously ordered a vegetarian pizza with sweetcorn in the stuffed crust, they didn't have sweetcorn so substituted it with pepperoni without telling me.
Wouldn't send out a replacement and wouldn't refund the pizza until pushed. Will not be coming back
The staff definitely make this place so special, cannot fault the fantastic service we received by all three of the staff in the restaurant who were attentive, friendly and professional, nothing seemed like too much trouble. They were all extremely customer focused.
The big negative for us was we were in Birmingham for our anniversary and booked this place for dinner, even though it was an hour and a half drive, due to the amazing reviews about the steaks they serve.
We checked the website before hand and it stated that it was festive menu only on the date we were attending, giving a link to the menu which was full of steak options. When we arrived at the restaurant we questioned the festive menu we were given and the gentleman told us it was an error and should have been removed from the website.
We contemplated driving somewhere else but we stayed as trying to find somewhere else in Buckingham at 7.30pm on a Saturday evening would have been a pain.
The food was really good, very tasty and well presented.
A good evening all round, just slightly tainted because we wanted steak and were misinformed by the website.
have eaten in here before a while ago and couldn't fault it. we just had some small bites and sat at a table at the back. it was quiet and we were left alone, which we appreciated.
I had the pleasure of visiting the Vine yesterday with my adult son. We had booked for the Sunday Carvery.
We were greeted by the smiling Landlady, offered our drinks and shown to our table.
We were called to the Carvery where the Landlord Chef, carved selected freshly cooked meats. The array of vegetables was impressive. The food tasted first class and I heard similar opinions from other diners.
Well done the Vine - we will be back.
Have been going to the fleece for years and it has always been alright, the pub side of the restaurant is great but the food is letting it down. The prices have gone up and the portions have gotten very small, not to mention it all tasted the same. The starters used to be my favourite part of the meal, but felt like I was eating an overpriced takeaway, beige and bland. Overall a very expensive and disappointing dinner.
