Went to watch the Scotland v England Rugby game. Very well looked after and a great place for sport. Great food and a good selection of ales including those from the Dorking brewery. Try the Nachos!

Went for our monthly team social get-together. Staff very helpful for our group of 12 who sat outside as the weather was improving. The food may seem expensive but the food are a plateful and good value for money. It was delicious with emply plates at the end. Came promptly and the staff remembered what we had ordered. Will be returning.

Myself and a friend are playing in Leatherhead theatre this week. We are on a tight timing for a pint so mentioned this to the bar staff last night. We walked in tonight and Ellie greeted us straight away and remembered what the order was. Quality customer service at its best

Great food, drinks and lovely service. We brought friends from out of town for lunch and we all really enjoyed! Very lucky to have this as our local!!

Limited menu and they had no mash for my "bangers and mash". Sausages were so salty as to be inedible and all our helpings were too big. Very poor quality of food, service was fine, though. Not a good experience for the price which was expensive. Definitely not to be recommended, I know finding good staff is difficult but they need a decent chef.

I had a lovely Sunday afternoon at The Penny Black pub in Leatherhead. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. There are TV screens inside and out for the sports fans and music nights too. I had a delicious roast dinner while I was there. The roast potatoes were super crispy !! I highly recommend The Penny Black and I will definitely be visiting again soon.

We visited the pub on a Sunday to try their roast dinners. The interior is lovely and the bar staff were attentive and welcoming. The choice of beers and ales was impressive including the no & low alcohol options. But best of all was the food. We had roast beef and chicken dinners, with all the trimmings. Amongst the best roast dinners we’ve ever had and without doubt the best roast potatoes anywhere. Superb.

Changes for covid were in place and staff very attentive. The food was basic and limited due to the changes, however, it was hot, very good and very tasty. Well presented and we had a little surprise candle on an ice cream for my grandsons birthday. Nice touch! It was just lovely to be out for a treat. hank you so much.

I thought the office desk and offer on the website was a great idea, this was also discussed positively on a local Facebook group. I had a few important business calls and a stack of emails to sort, so I thought I’d book up. I did so, turned up on time having paid £3 parking in a nearby P&D and all fully masked up. I thought the place looked really impressive and much effort made to make it a stand out location. I was ushered to a table in the bar and a power socket pointed out. Unfortunately the table was incredibly sticky and felt dirty. I persevered though although no apparent WIFI, so I attempted to hotspot my phone to my laptop. Not really the point but so so. The music was pretty loud which again bothered me a bit, after a few minutes someone enjoying an 11am pint asked the lady if the music could be turned down but she said no.So, they have a really impressive venue, tea/coffee on tap, a beer if you want and presumably a decent lunch menu (never got that far) offering a great offer for people who work from home. But loud music, sticky desks and no WIFI doesn’t really create a decent working environment (and goes against the advert). So I left, hastily £3 down on parking (I’d driven 12 miles but fair enough that’s my own problem) the only positive is that Costa was a five minute walk. I asked the managers name, and this was directed back, tweeted them to ask if the manager couldDM me but radio silence. Not really good enough and a total waste of my time. Trying to support local businesses but they don’t really care. Thankful for big chains in this instance.

Came here for some lunch with friends had the best burgers I’ve ever had. Will of course be returning soon. 10/10. Also the staff were so lovely and helpful.

Table service was yet again speedy, efficient, no wrong orders, polite and smiles all round. Two members of staff served us and between them they ensured we were happy and all four of us had a great evening
