Disgusting stench, probably using bad oil. Staff with zero customer service skills.

kebab was beautiful, fresh salad ,meat was lovely ,chips were amazing ,delivery was on time and a very polite delivery driver overall very satisfied

Ordered a saveloy and I have no idea what it was but wasn’t a saveloy you will see in other chippys was like a floppy fish had more bounce to it then sausage , chips had a weird taste to them , batter was awful didnt cover it properly and very dry and no crunch. Couldn’t even finish my food awful will never order from here again

Food was cold upon arrival and the cheese wasn’t melted in the slightest on my cheesy chips. Paid £5 extra for an XL and received a very standard sized box. Really disappointed with the service

we noticed on the app that the order dtatus had been changed to "delivered". After phoning the restaurant we were told they were busy and changed the status and it would be 10minutes and the driver was on his way. 20minutes later we phoned again and the manager LAUGHED at my partner saying it would be another 2-5minutes amd to stop complaining "they were busy." and hung up. The delivery driver was faultless however and very polite and understanding and said how sorry he was for our experience.

normally food really good but ordered for my kid's and unfortunately most of there chips was green and kebab meat was not as nice as normally is

I ordered the seafood pizza.. it came with tuna and tomato.. no prawns or anchovies... i also paid for black olives extra and didnt get any.. i was reimbursed for the unavailable corn on the cob

Fish and chips was lovely and hot

Kebab as always was top class, tasty, tender, well seasoned and the best garlic butter in town. Spaghetti Bolognaise was very tasty but lacked sauce which made the dish very dry and hard to eat.

Delivery driver disgustingly rude. Needs to be sacked. Turned up giving me attitude because he can't read the delivery notes like he should. 0/10 for delivery.

Was delivered later than the app said. Got told we'd have fresh cooked food but it all turned up cold and some ite.s weren't correct

I was told the delivery time,then delayed which was fine but after 10 mins it said it had been delivered,so I called and 20 mine after that we finally got it. I had to heat it in the microwave. Chips were fine the fish seemed old and overcooked.

The quality of food here has gone down hill recently, we have had a succession of orders where the food has been below good. This order however was poor quality food, chips were under done and it took nearly 2 hours to get to me. My wife managed to order her food from somewhere else, have it delivered and eaten, while I was still waiting for mine. I’m not sure what’s gone on here but the food and time to deliver has gone down hill.

I’d delayed delivery because I know how quickly they usually deliver but arrived nearly 30 minutes later than requested time, was only delivered after using the requested update. Every thing was told and the batter on the fish was sort of chewy and only warm and chips were cold, we had to microwave them. I feel these had been prepared a left because the boxes the oil was visible through the cold box, hopefully this is not a new standard

The food was late, cold and the burger bun was burnt and tasted of charcoal and the staff were rude, when I rang to ask where my order was because it was late the man on the other end of the phone asked me 3xs if I had ordered off just eat I said yes 3xs and he did not believe me, kept asking if I was sure if I ordered off just eat, and the delivery driver was rude short tempered

I have just waited over an hour for my food and it was delivered cold and then i was also met with the extremely rude man that took my order telling me that the food it fine and hanging up on me this is absolutely unacceptable

Ordered a load of food over the weekend and waited in total 2 hours and 10 mins before it arrived. But when I rang up after an hour after I ordered it, they said it was in the car on the way too me. So as you can imagine I made a phone call every 15 mins after he said that asking where is was. Only for them to stop answering my calls. I would honestly keep away. The food was hardly cooked when it turned up and felt like it actually was sat for over an hour in the car.

Ordered a portion of medium chips, were okay but not the best quality or taste. Server was friendly but just gave off odd vibes, I struggle with social anxiety so could’ve just been me overthinking it. Again food wasn’t the best so will only use this place as a last resort.

Not as good as previous visits. Late by 20 mins, had to call restaurant to enquire as food was marked as delivered when it wasn’t. Brushed off with ‘driver just leaving now’ and did arrive within 10 minutes of this call. Food temperature was actually still fine, although saveloys were disappointing. Poor quality and tasteless and Luke warm only. Fish really nice as always but 3 poor quality, not-hot saveloys at approx £8 (chips extra!) for the OH did not go down well! Shame :( used to be 5*!

As a Northerner living in the South, I am very picky when it comes to my fish and chips. Until I stumbled across the Whitecliffe on the JE app. I live over 2.5 miles from the shop and the food is always piping hot, batter is crispy no skin on the fish, the small portion size is more like a large (for me anyways). Today I ordered a buttered bap, which came toasted. You have outshone yourselves Whitecliffs. Now, if only you did scraps! 🖤🖤🖤
