Ordered a load of food over the weekend and waited in total 2 hours and 10 mins before it arrived. But when I rang up after an hour after I ordered it, they said it was in the car on the way too me. So as you can imagine I made a phone call every 15 mins after he said that asking where is was. Only for them to stop answering my calls. I would honestly keep away. The food was hardly cooked when it turned up and felt like it actually was sat for over an hour in the car.

Great tasting fish and fresh chips. Love their social media too so give them a follow for deals. Their any pizza, any time any size is well worth the money

Ordered a portion of medium chips, were okay but not the best quality or taste. Server was friendly but just gave off odd vibes, I struggle with social anxiety so could’ve just been me overthinking it. Again food wasn’t the best so will only use this place as a last resort.

As a Northerner living in the South, I am very picky when it comes to my fish and chips. Until I stumbled across the Whitecliffe on the JE app. I live over 2.5 miles from the shop and the food is always piping hot, batter is crispy no skin on the fish, the small portion size is more like a large (for me anyways). Today I ordered a buttered bap, which came toasted. You have outshone yourselves Whitecliffs. Now, if only you did scraps! 🖤🖤🖤

Not as good as previous visits. Late by 20 mins, had to call restaurant to enquire as food was marked as delivered when it wasn’t. Brushed off with ‘driver just leaving now’ and did arrive within 10 minutes of this call. Food temperature was actually still fine, although saveloys were disappointing. Poor quality and tasteless and Luke warm only. Fish really nice as always but 3 poor quality, not-hot saveloys at approx £8 (chips extra!) for the OH did not go down well! Shame :( used to be 5*!

Food was great! Apart from the Pukka Pie, it was rock solid like it had been sat all day and was unable to eat it, the pie was what I most looking forward to as well!

First time I've used this place as just moved from herne bay the cod is lovely, the batter is crispy. the Chicken Meat Kapsalon is lovely first time I've heard of this and tried it. the price is alot cheaper aswell compared to what I was used to pay.

I am 14. They didn't give me enough change and thought it was very funny. The tone they used to talk to me was unacceptable. They pointed out my acne which i am very sensitive about and asked me if I had skin problems and that i need it sorted out. they told me this whilst laughing, who would treat a 14 year old boy like this its disgusting. i went home in tears and now feel even worse about my looks. food was also disgusting. not coming here again. when i comfronted them about it with my parent they laughed and did not care. not professional at all.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour refuses to give my son his change who is 14 and then says he is ugly, spotty and needs to sort his face out he is the kindest sweetest boy and they made him cry so much

Great chips but burger was rubbery!

No stars for an inedible meal. 1 Cod and 1 Rock ordered. 3 thin pieces of unidentifiable fish received. Not flaky like cod and no long bone which you have in Rock. Thin soggy batter on fish and onions. Chips were not outstanding. We have never ordered a meal that neither of us could eat.

Ordered via the app. then discovered I'd made a mistake on my order but they were very quick to sort it out and deliver on time. Really good service..

Always delicious food, good at keeping to or before delivery times and the food is always hot when delivered. Never had a bad order.

Quite disappointed. Been a loyal customer for years, i called to advise I was unhappy with a item i ordered, whoever I spoke to had no care, no customer service and just responded with ‘ okay ‘ pretty much the whole call so had to disconnect, not even a apology? Do not order kofti kebab wrap, £10 and it just has meat in which was dry, no sauce and no lettuce and quite a small not filled wrap for price. Daylight robbery and had every right to not be happy with the item. Rest of food was okay.

lots of batter and very little fish

I ordered children’s cod and chips, mushy peas, pickled egg and a can of Diet Coke. I received 3 x cod bites with a lot of bones. Even the children’s cod bites and chips has 4 x cod bites! However I ordered the children’s cod! Really really disappointed and I won’t order from there again. I have requested a refund via Just eat for the £7 (which is the cost of the cod and chips that I paid for and didn’t get) I have a photo of what I got too.

fish and chips wasn't fresh. looked and tasted like Heated up left overs from the day before I'm assuming as I put in an early afternoon order. the ice-cream was warm and took 4 hours to freeze. I threw mostbof ot in the bin and had soup asci want well enough to go out.

Meal arrived cold 3 meals all had to be thrown away very fatty, more batter than wafer large fish, batter undercooked very fatty chips covered in black bits and skin won’t be ordering again

The ice cream was melted. The chips were too big, not tasty, the chipss tasted like they were microwaved. Pizza with a strange dough, tasteless and strange consistency.

There was an error with our order however, the food was promptly replaced and we all had a lovely meal. Thank you.

Portion sizes are tiny and absolute rip off considering a large is nearly a fiver and the chips were anaemic and under cooked to the point they were too hard to eat.

Iv been using this place for a few years now and iv never really had a problem as such and if I had a problem it was a small problem as I have never once complained BUT!!! tonight I orderd cod and chips and a bottle of coke and thay deliverd but forgot the coke and I phoned and thay sent it straight back out and that was fine so I went into the kitchen opened the box and I was in shock how there was so much oil that there was no way I was putting any of that in my mouth!! so I picked a chip up and broke up in half as thay was so white and didn’t look cooked and I see there was still hard potato in the chips so I then noticed the batter around the cod looked very pale and didn’t look cooked and so i picked it up and the cod was falling apart so much it was in piece’s so I grabbed abit of batter and new it was not fully cooked so I phoned the restaurant and was refused a full refund and so i accepted the replacement well when that turned up it was also bad I have actually added photos if you go take alook and after the stress and not having a nice meal I will never use this place again

First time we have used Whitecliffs and it won’t be the last! Was delivered on time and tastes lovely. Portion sizes just right and not too greasy. Perfect! Will definitely use again.

absolutely brilliant in every respect, good food, great value, excellent customer service, and always early or on time.

Have used this company many many times and never had any issues. Was given a time shot which is handy as I’m diabetic and need to take insulin before a meal. I understand that there is a minimum and maximum time given so I took my insulin based on the maximum time. I had a delivered sign come up on my order but no food. I Phoned restaurant to be told there busy and order is definitely on its way. 10 minutes after that it arrived in just the nick of time before I started having a hypo.

Ordered the meal at 5 to arrive ar 6.20 for my nan. Meal was late when phoned up the man was rude and put phone down on me. When the meal turned up nearly 40 mins late it was stone cold. Unfortunately nans old school so refused to send it back. Will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered a kids cod bites and there was 2 bones running through one of the bites, luckily it was me eating it and not my 4yo (non verbal), as I had to fish it out of the back of my throat. Very angry with the restaurant. I know cod has bones, but I don't expect it in a children's meal! Will never order from here again!

Delivery due at 1800, eventually arrived cold at 1840.It would help if food was kept in an insulated box on its journey. We had to phone the shop twice as the web page said it had been delivered. It hadn't! We wont be ordering from here again.

Late but so worth the wait. Beautifully cooked food and tasted amazing. I was born and bred in Dover , and loved Huss and Chips... ended up in West Bromwich, where they have no idea what Huss is lol. I've come back to Dover for 2 days . Ha👌👍👍👍

I had mix grill kebab the donor meat was cold and like cardboard the chicken shish was like chewing a dr Martians boot the only good bit was the cofte kebab. very disappointed as just finished work and was starving McDonald's was a winner
