Mixed donner kebab....very nice, just wish the garlic sauce was a bit thicker and more garlic. They delivered super quick too. Would've loved to be able to order a bigger portion too though.

The food was well cooked and tasty. However, the delivery was 90 mins and required a phone call reminder. The salad was disappointing, lettuce and onion but no tomato or peppers.

Food was okay but ordered for delivery at 7.50pm. Delivered at 9.20pm

Absolutely awful! Online, it stated a £2.45 delivery charge, however had to pay over £6.00 for delivery! The portion sizes were all small, even though we ordered large. To be honest the quality of the food was extremely poor, given the price we paid! As well, as the order being incorrect.

Very nice kebab house, pleasant staff and quality to match, most of the products brought locally for example tomatoes from margate. Friendly service and highly recommended.

Waited over an hour and 40 minutes, it was only a Tuesday night (no football or sports on) rang after 1 hour 10 only to be told the driver had just left, waited another 30 minutes then drove up there, they seemed to know nothing about the order and ended up giving us a refund , there weren’t even any customers in tjere and 4 staff clueless

Great kebab - ordered online and ready to collect 15 mins later. Only improvement would be if they offered mild chilli sauce!

They tried chadging me 50p for using card , ive explained its against the law for them to do it and they said boss told them to charge What a disappointment

I ordered a combination 3 kebab, 2 chicken shish and one doner. Only received the chicken shish and no doner. By the time the food arrived it was too late to phone and complain. Good food but I feel robbed as I didn't get my full order even though I was charged for it.

To say I was disappointed last night is putting it mildly. I ordered the same meal last week and was really impressed, chicken was succulent, cooked perfectly and the chips were great so I decided to order the same again. No chips came with the meal which I’d paid for but I’d have put up with that if the chicken was as good as last time. It wasn’t, overcooked and dried out, must have been sitting around for hours. My husband’s kebab was fine, just my meal was disappointing. We’ve ordered lots of times from here and this is the first time it’s been unsatisfactory. Hopefully this was just a blip and will not happen again

Quite possibly the worst food ive ever had delivered. Turned up an hour and 20 minutes late, the chicken wings were still raw inside, my primary school couldve done a better job with the burger, not even any sauce in it. How do you mess it up that bad?! Called the restaurant to ask where my food was. The guy said he’ll call me back after he calls the driver. Never bothered to call back.

Afyon has never let me or my family down always friendly on the end of the phone excellent fast delivery service and the food is always spot on.

I have been using afyon for years, last night ordered my normal small doner, when it arrived the meat was as thin as possible and as dry as hell, called and complained, and was basically told to F__CK OFF. NEVER GIVE THEM MY MONEY AGAIN

Ordered large mix meat and chips, What I got was a pitiful excuse for large, hardly any meat, the box it came in was for a medium or even a small, not what it used to be, won’t be ordering from there again.

Had food delivered was hardly any chicken meat tasted of nothing was really dry very disappointing

My partner got us kebabs tonight , apparently staff were rude and obnoxious portions small and price high shame as had food from here before and it was lovely .wont be getting it again

Good size portions. Delivered and still hot. My hubby had a doner kebab, he said the meat and chilli sauce was really good. I had a chicken shish kebab with salad which was great. All in all a great takeaway 👍 😋

My boyfriend got a Donna meat and chips last night and has now got food poisoning. Everything is being cross contaminated and very unhygienic. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I'm afraid to say the food quality & portion sizes have dropped considerably, that it's made ordering from here quite hit & miss. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable recommending it nowadays, so much so, we're now going to try somewhere else. Shame really, because in the past when we have ordered a kebab (chicken shish) from here, it's been delicious & a good size. We don't order in takeaways that often, but when we do we at least expect to feel we're getting value for money. Very mediocre size kebabs, average quality & a lot of manky salad which has clearly gone past its sell by date or not stored correctly.

Afyon is a bit tucked away off Mill Hill but is an excellent kebab takeaway. I went there for a change but was pleased that I did with pleasant staff, good service and most importantly a great tasting chicken kebab. Would suggest you give them a try.

Honestly don’t believe any of the good reviews you ask for a large you get a medium with hardly no meat or salad the bread is so greasy it’s crazy really poor Hygiene greasy was soaking through the bag I really don’t recommend this place

Chicken burger was inedible. Looked raw, covered in a disgusting sauce in a cheap bun, no salad - just disgusting. Chips were fine but greasy, how hard is it to fry potato though!? Awful. Will never go back.

Have been a customer for about 16 years and tonight I can honestly say I was super impressed which is why I’m leaving this review!! They were really busy with a number of orders cooking for delivery and collection, as well as more people coming through the door ordering. Despite all of that, all of the staff were smiling, polite and helpful - no signs of stress which would’ve been expected given the number of orders coming in!! The food was freshly cooked, hot and tasty. The place was also spotlessly clean. People were observing social distancing due to the current situation but it was an all round pleasant experience. Thanks guys and keep up the good work 😃

Sorry Afyon. Wont be coming back! Been a customer for a few years, but I have no idea what has happened to your standards. The "chips" that you sent were nothing better than a mushy, greasy pile of mess, not edible! The kebabs were cold and you hadnt added the sauce, as per the instructions.

For the portions, they are over priced. Compared to other kebabs. Taste wise, not the best best. Delivered cold and It was a local delivery. Will be ordering from a different place in future.

First time ordering from them, very polite and helpful and food was amazing. Will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend

The food i get from here is always tasty and always hot and always correct. However where most of the staff are very pleasant and always welcoming a girl that answers the phone for orders is very blunt and almost comes across as rude a lot of the time. Not a very friendly voice at all!

Visited there tonight placed an order and asked if card was OK. Only to be told there was a charge for using card. When I told them that was illegal the guy became very defensive and not at all happy. Will kit be using again

Our local kebab shop. Very friendly and busy but never too long to wait. Food is fresh and fast, never been disappointed.

Often visited on way home and generally get a good burger and chips. Staff are pretty good, but it is a kebab shop that attracts a certain type of clientele and that is who it caters for.

Normally we have a burgers but decided to have a pizza, well it was not very nice at all .. dry base, warm not hot... meat on the pizza wasnt very nice. The sauce on the base was tangy and did not taste like BBQ... really disapointed. Will be using direct pizza for pizza in future... shame

Cold chips very greasy also chicken not hot and over cooked. I didn't even eat it .... very disappointed .... ended up having a maccas

An hour on a Tuesday night for delivery!!! Was cold when it got here...ill never, NEVER, use them again, i'd rather have a peanut butter sandwich or be hungry than use these idiots again - tried calling to find out where my kebab was and they wouldn't answer phone - idiots idiots idiots... Phoned them after delivery to tell them it was cold...was told...get this... To put it in microwave.... Tomorrow they will get it back and i will complain to council ...it had no delivery bag to keep it hot----> delivering luke warm meat is totally unacceptable

The food was cold when food was delivers and the salad did not taste fresh and the meet was still very bloody and extremely greasy will not use the kerbab shop ever again I hope they get shut down poor service and poor food. A note to people use a different kerbab shop afyon is crap !!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed

Cold chips how hard is it too cook chips too order? Not very is the answer asked if the pizza was deep pan they said yes but it was thin. Rude staff\ owner feel sorry for the new member of staff having too work with them will NEVER go there again.

same old same old uses industrial meat from the usual cheapest merchant seems a shame to waste your opportunity to be better than the normal & follow the masses,,, why do you not get better quality meat without the processed cartilage it dosent add to the flavor
