Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful team. Excellent start to our holiday. The team were helpful in advising us on what to do locally

As always delicious food, amazing service and lovely cosy atmosphere. We ate from the specials menu, we had homemade mushroom soup to start, then fish pie topped with cheddar mash with fresh green vegetables and a pork pattie bap with apple and onion chutney, coleslaw and crispy potato wedges, everything was so tasty and beautifully presented, we couldn’t fault it. The Italian coffee is just the smoothest blend we’ve tasted and can highly recommend.

The biggest plus for very nice owners which creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. A small, intimate place with a very tasty, home-made dinner. Definitely worth to visit.

Fantastic and warm welcome, excellent service with incredible pizzas! Restaurant is literally in front section of a house lit up like a fairytale - cosy and intimate and served with big smiles.

Two of us went for a late mid week lunch and had an enjoyable meal. I had the roast veg and brie panini which was very tasty and came with a nice side salad. My husband had the Cajun chicken which came with cauliflower gratin and potatoes. The staff were lovely.

Uncomfortable chairs, tables too close together, dogs allowed to sit on seats, tables not cleaned the whole time we were there, floor absolutely filthy and waitresses stroking dogs then going behind the counter to carry on serving without washing their hands. Totally unhygienic and unacceptable. Definitely will not be returning.

I recently went for my mums surprise birthday meal. Had been organising for a while with Jodie and nothing was too much trouble. On the night, all the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. I definitely recommend and will be going back

Family atmosphere. Worth the visit. Expect value for money, warmth & varied English menu. We had tuna melt Panini's, served with fresh salad garnish we could not fault.

Very nice, friendly service, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Homemade quiche, hot sausage rolls, lovely.

I'm a local and I have now had breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails at the village kitchen. Quality food and excellent service and it's always been friendly. I'm very pleased to have thus business in our village.

Staff was so polite and made sure we was happy The food was outstanding plenty to choose from, superb value for money, exceptionally clean and tidy, even the customers made a very welcome highly recommend will definitely go back there again. Superb, cheerful service, delicious (gluten free) homemade cake and coffee/tea at an astoundingly reasonable price. I highly recommend. Food is all cooked on the premises and served in light, airy, welcoming, clean café. Hidden gem.

Fabulous spot and very welcome coffee . There is food available and next trip down we won't eat before! Used by locals as well ,perfect recommendation.
