The biggest plus for very nice owners which creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. A small, intimate place with a very tasty, home-made dinner. Definitely worth to visit.

We did pop in today as there is no many Polish restaurants round kent I was really disappointed Slava was not the nicest person when we wanted to order more food she was looking at us a bit funny and saying i think thats enough when my husband wanted some extra food she just shakes her head with no happiness . I was very disappointed and the worse part was we waited for the food 1,5h something that i never experience before Would definitely not recommend

A great place for a home-cooked dinner! The food is always fresh, tasty and prepared with the utmost care. You can feel that it is cooked with heart - just like at home. The service is nice, polite and super friendly, which makes you want to come back here and you feel like you've known the owners for years. I highly recommend it to everyone who appreciates delicious, home-made flavors in a wonderful atmosphere.

We went to Deal last Sunday to see castle and have a family time. Restaurant is hidden of the main street as hidden treasure, and I liked it. Before we found the restaurant on social media. We really want to try. We were very lucky, as kitchen on Sunday is closed at 4 pm. We arrived before 3 pm. First impression was it looks very tiny like a cafe, but they have more tables in the back and also a garden. We found a lovely couple sitting in one of the tables. Talk to them was a pleasure. We had a very warm welcome from Slava one of the owners. You are very welcome to come with a dog. If you drive there is a lot of parking spaces on the street. This is nice and cosy place, where you feel like at home. We tried polish traditional dishes. Chicken broth (rosol), wild mushrooms porcini soup and a marinated herring in cream and onions. Then as a main we had pork and chicken schnitzel and pan fried fish with mashed potatoes and salads with some pickles and garlic sauce. Food was outstanding, freshly cooked with all flavours. Well the good point is they do not do fast food or frozen processed food. If they ran out something they ran out we had to wait for potatoes to be boiled and made as we wait, and it makes it more valuable as you get very fresh food. My kids were very impressed and wanted more food. As a dessert we order polish apple pie, cheesecake and we got to try polish tort, sponge cake which I personally hate,but... the tort was sa nice light and fluffy, made with mascarpone cheese and fresh fruit. I loved it. Best ever tort in my life. They do not sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own (some rulles aply). Prices are very reasonable and worth any penny. Foe goodbye we got a portion of vegetable salad, very traditional and was so good. It reminded my childhood. Definitely we we will be coming there again. Prebookindgs are highly recommended as they can be prepped for your visit, and I am sure if you fancy any other polish food which is not in the menu they happy to make it for you. I am a chef as well so in my opinion, they are very good.

Engel's Paradise is a true paradise for foodies! Each dish is prepared with love, but it was the dumplings that stole our hearts - delicate, melting in the mouth, with a filling full of flavor. Desserts? Simply heaven on a plate! You can feel the homely atmosphere here, and the owners are true enthusiasts who put their whole hearts into this place. Really special meal here with my husband and our three year old. The couple who run it are so welcoming and have created something very special. Their home cooked Polish food is absolutely incredible - my three year old shouted ‘I love Pierogi’ at one point during our meal! Highly recommend and we can’t can’t wait to come back.

Yesterday we came for a family dinner and we are very impressed!!😊 I wholeheartedly recommend the food, namely the fish is delicious, the broth is of course also large enough to eat, and I will also mention the service, which is amazing!!😊 When you enter for the first time, you feel as if you have known the owners for many years!😉 I recommend it wholeheartedly!!!❤❤

Delicious dumplings, sausage and ice cream

We went to Engel's Paradise for the first time today and was definitely not disappointed. The restaurant is very warm and welcoming, and decorated in a very fun way, the room at the back is also lovely. The food is excellent all Polish dishes cooked fresh with love and very delicious.The owner Slava is a lovely lady, very friendly and caring - you go in as customers and leave as friends. Would highly recommend going there - will be returning with our dogs.

Amazing place, highly recommend! Being Polish myself, I have high standards when it comes to our traditional food and this place has EXCEEDED all expectations. Everything is home cooked and prepared to order. The portions are very generous and it’s incredibly cheap for what you get. Also, the owners are super friendly and you feel like they welcome you to their own home. Make sure you leave some space for a pudding as the cakes (we tried apple pie and cheesecake) are really delicious. We will be back soon!

Very tasty, home-made Polish cuisine. For an appetizer I ate dumplings (I took the second portion to go). For the main course I ate schnitzel. I stuffed myself with apple pie at the end. Everything was tasty and at a good price. Owners were very nice, helpful and attentive. I recommend it and will come back very soon.

Today we had a lovely Polish meal today for the first time ,we will be back for more . Great friendly atmosphere spoke to two regulars who could only heap praise on how nice the food is.

I live locally and visited the Bistro many times over the last few years. Food is absolutely delicious - traditional Polish cuisine. I was lucky to try most of the dishes - lovely scrambled eggs for breakfast with bacon and chives, dinners - tasty soups and main courses like Polish schnitzel, fried fish, goulash all served with big portions of salad which I love! Let's not forget the Polish dumplings - Pierogi with different fillings, all super tasty so difficult to say which one are my favourite ;-) And the cakes!! Wow! They not only look beautiful they taste as they look! Love it! Definitely the best place to eat in Deal and of course I do recommend it!

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Engel’s Paradise in Deal. From the moment we arrived, the hosting was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Remarkable overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Engel’s Paradise a cozy, clean and very welcoming polish restaurant. They have 3 tables at the front and room for more tables / peoples at the back. The couple who running the business is very kind and they cook amazing! Food is fresh and beyond delicious, so I could not just recommend, but encourage everyone to take a visit and try their wonderful meals. ;)

This place is amazing! Fantastic home cooked food, warm welcoming service and cozy. I would recommend the perogi and the breakfast with sausage and eggs so tasty!! My daughter ordered the salad jarczynowa which was perfect. I had to get take away perogi and cake for my jealous husband. Both the hosts were welcoming and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Tasty minced dumplings with cheese, Russian - I don't like them personally, but I tried them and they were great. The lady makes them fresh every day, a very cozy place inside, and there is also a place in the garden for the summer, the owners are great, very nice too

What a lovely little place with a very cosy atmosphere. A real hidden gem. You feel like being at home. Excellent and very personal service and excellent food. There is a choice for everyone at a very reasonable price. I had the very delicious Pierogi and you must try Slava's baked cheesecake as dessert! I am sure that once you have tried this little place it won't be your last time.

We enjoyed a lovely homemade meal with friends. The service was friendly, and the owner knowledgeable. The main course, klopsiki (meatballs), was some of the best Polish meatballs I’ve ever had. My partner enjoyed the schabowy (Polish pork schnitzel), and our friends loved the Hunter's Stew. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and would highly recommend Engel's Paradise. As there’s no drinks licence currently, it’s BYOB with a corkage fee. Don’t be in a hurry—everything is cooked fresh from scratch.

First time in Engel's Paradise and will be returning. Great food and service. Cheesecake was insane.

You can taste that it is made fresh every day and home cooked. I definitely recommend the Rosół and Pierogi! Should I be in the area again I will be sure to pay another visit!

Being half Polish, I was delighted to find this small, unpretentious yet delicious Polish eatery on my doorstep. Both times I visited, I've been delighted by the very warm welcome and best kielbaska west of Krakow. Will definitely be back!

Was in Deal on a monday as part of a weekend trip, and worried we had left dinner too late - found an amazing place which became a highlight of the trip; great priced homecooking style food, lovely service and a very cozy outdoor vibe. Can’t recommed it enough

I've been here several times now over the last couple of years. Slava and her husband are really lovely. She is more front off house and I guess he cooks, but I think she makes most of the cakes, although I may be wrong. It looks tiny from the outside but has a garden out back. The food is really delicious, and wear a belt that you can unfasten as the portions are generous and the price is very good for what you get. You can tell everything is really fresh, as Slava will tell you how many of each item she has, and I love that. Polish people travel far to go there for traditional dishes so that is always a good sign. If you like alcohol with your meal you can bring your own and pay a cork charge. I would highly recommend and leave you with a couple of photos from my Sunday lunch Tried the all day breakfast today (04/09/24) amazing. Filling and really tasty, I don't know how they can do it for £6.50

We have visited restaurant on the 27th of July for the first time. The food was really good and freshly made my daughter really enjoyed pierogi and rosol and we had schabowe with mashed potatoes and salad. Really authentic polish food and atmosphere "feels like at mum's" Staff really friendly , place really cosy.I would highly recommend!

5 star service all the way! I think everyone needs to visit this place at least once.. but as every guest we met at the bistro said "once you visit , you will be back for more " and I totally agree. The atmosphere from your first step inside is lovely . Very friendly owners, make you feel like you have known them for a long time . Food was served fairly quickly considering its made as its ordered so its all fresh , not taken out the microwave. We had soup of the day, schabowy and pierogi, which I will definitely come back for 😃 a yes for us! The garden area is fab as well! Thank you for the experience we have had. Oh and almost forgot to mention, the prices are very affordable! I have never paid so little and left so full anywhere else👌

We have been here so many times and each time it is a great experience! We always say “It’s the best Polish bistro in town”. The value is amazing, food so good (try the vegetarian pierogi) and Slava and Andrew are great hosts. There’s so many regulars and a really friendly atmosphere.

Excellent food and lovely service. Good prices. If you have not tried Polish cuisin, go for it and meet Slavs for a warm welcome at this restaurant that is off the beaten track of the main High Street bustle. Easy to park. You will not be disappointed.

This place was a fab little find on our weekend holiday. We happened to drive past it by accident after making a wrong turn and seen the Polish flag, so we went back the following day for dinner to check it out. The food was great, the service was great, the owner was so lovely and the atmosphere was too. We were travelling with our little puppy who is too young to walk around outside yet on the lead and they were more than happy for us to bring her in and let her investigate in the room out the back where we sat with the patio door open. We will definitely go again when back in the area!

Genuinely friendly and a credit to the business. It was also very reasonably priced for the quality and we would definitely return. Would highly recommend as an alternative to a traditional Polish food.

An absolutely brilliant little place. Slava and Andrew have crafted a welcoming home-from-home where you are looked after like an old friend. Their food is scrumptious; proper authentic Polish home cooking. We shared Pierogis and Bigos and they were absolutley delicious- bursting with flavour and clearly cooked with love. Slava gifted us a slice of a beautiful cake she’d made with fresh cream and fresh fruit; absolute heaven. We will definitely be back!
