Engel's Paradise in Dover

Had excellent home made Perogi in this lovely little (and very clea) Polish bistro I Deal. Too full to try the deserts on offer but the home made cake looked marvellous.

Absolutely brilliant. A little taste of authentic Polish food in Deal. Food was perfect. Service fantastic. A real gem of a restaurant. Already looking forward to our next visit. And my next pierogi.

The food here is amazing. All cooked fresh to order by two of the loveliest people. Portions are extremely generous and the prices are very reasonable. If you go once, you’ll go back!

Portions were very generous and the food delicious. Everything seemed freshly prepared and good quality. The highlight though was the excellent service from Engel's Paradise. Genuinely friendly and a credit to the business. It was also very reasonably priced for the quality and we would definitely return. Would highly recommend as an alternative to a traditional Polish food.

A lovely relaxed lunch with friends, with fresh, tasty dishes and cheerful, friendly service. Much discussion on ingredients with the charming owners. Luscious sorrel soup, and beautifully-presented main courses. Light-as-a-feather cake and excellent teas and coffees. Really worth seeking out!

This is a truly lovely and unusual place to go. Great tea and coffee and cake, and delicious Polish food. Top breakfasts and specials. It's small and quirky., and the owners are the nicest people you could wish to meet.

Slava and Andrew’s restaurant is a gorgous little place where they serve home cooked food made with love. The welcome is warm, you’ll be treated like a valued friend and fed the most delicious food. We shared Pierogis and Bigos for lunch and it was plenty for both of us, as well as looking and tasting amazing. Definitely have a slice of Slava’s heavenly cake- you’ll miss out if you don’t! My new favourite place in Deal.

An absolutely brilliant little place. Slava and Andrew have crafted a welcoming home-from-home where you are looked after like an old friend. Their food is scrumptious; proper authentic Polish home cooking. We shared Pierogis and Bigos and they were absolutley delicious- bursting with flavour and clearly cooked with love. Slava gifted us a slice of a beautiful cake she’d made with fresh cream and fresh fruit; absolute heaven. We will definitely be back!

Engels Paradise is a wonderful place to try delicious Polish cuisine. The homely atmosphere and the owners who are friendly towards customers make everyone feel just good there. I recommend it with all my heart.

What a fantastic surprise! We had our first meal here on Friday evening, and it certainly won't be our last. Our meal was utterly delicious and everything looked so tempting! It really felt like a lot of care had been put in to making all the food taste so fresh and flavoursome. With a really friendly owner, great chef and gorgeous fresh ingredients thisbis by far the best Polish food I've ever had. If you don't know what to order, the owner is both knowledgeable and approachable.

Delicious food and very welcoming and friendly people who run this wonderful restaurant. We had the herring as starters and cold meat and cheese platter. The herring is in a lovely mayonnaise with tiny bits of gherkin in it served with sweet rye bread. The main course we had delicious cod in a well flavoured batter with mashed potatoes and a sprinkling of dill. Plus creamed beetroot and a lovely salad with a creamy mayonnaise on the side. My friend Paweł had the pork snitzel which he enjoyed with the same accompaniments. We had to have a bit of a rest and recline in the sun loungers out in the court yard where we ate, before we ate desert. Delicious sponge with cream and fresh fruit served with ice cream. We had non alcohol beer but there was a variety of Polish fruit juices as well as other drinks! Slana the lady who runs the restaurant is the cook and she is definitely very good at cooking. Will definitely go again. We were not rushed or anything just a very relaxing place. Thank you 🙂

We had a great lunch at Engels Paradise. Tasty home cooked food with very friendly owners. It was a nice break from the standard seaside fish and chips. We also loved sitting out in the sun in the back garden.

A Polish paradise. We visited Engel’s paradise on the suggestion of a friend and what a great suggestion it turned out. On arrival we had a warm and friendly welcome from Slavia. We chose a selection of dishes that included the herring in yoghurt, the cold meats and cheese platter, and the Perogi. Each of the dishes were fresh, expertly prepared and so tasty. The service was great and so too the decor with a mix of Poland and Deal in evidence. It truly was a little bit of Poland in the heart of Deal. We shall definitely return and recommend to anyone who has not been to get themselves down to Engel’s For a Polish paradise.

Just had an amazing lunch at Engles Paradise. The food was all fresh and delicious and the staff are so lovely. It was topped off by the wonderful sunshine as we are in the cute little courtyard. The potato and egg salad is just the right combination of creamy sauce and crunchy veg and pickles while the meat & cheese plate is great for sharing. The pierogi dumplings were like little parcels of scrumptiousness. The fish salad so good and had the lushest mash potato with it. The staff are so friendly, which make it feel very homely. We can’t wait to go back and work our way through the menu!!!

Delicious Polish food and very reasonable prices. Great attention to detail in making everything look as good as it tastes. The stuffed cabbage in mushroom sauce is delicious. Not licensed, but reasonable corkage if you bring a bottle . Will be going again soon.

Such a friendly couple in a great place with a pretty terrace. I think it's fair to say the very tasty kielbaska comes "fully loaded" with a big pile of fresh veg, crispy onions and garlic sauce on top. I'll be back!

Went there on Sunday with family for lunch. We’ve had a Polish pork goulash and cod fish polish style. It was delicious!!! Very fresh food very tasty! Just like at mums in Poland! Slava and the service was outstanding! Very friendly and professional. Made us feel like we’re home. Recommend it to everyone! We’ll definitely be back soon!

I took two lovely ladies to Lunch. Both are in their twilight years and had never eaten wonderful Polish food. The food did not disappoint always excellent flavour, beautiful presentation and generous portions. The dining area's inside and out are very unique and tastefully presented.
