We stopped here for coffee before catching the ferry from Dover. Sunrise Cafe provides a caring and welcoming environment for the whole community. Staff were so friendly, coffee and pastries lovely and our 4-year old loved the colouring in! Thank you so much - we will be back when we are next back in Dover!

I'm a local and I have now had breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails at the village kitchen. Quality food and excellent service and it's always been friendly. I'm very pleased to have thus business in our village.

Stopped in Deal, Kent for lunch at Soul Chef Kitchen on the beachfront. What a lovely vibe! Had the BBQ Jamaican style ribs, succulent, fall off the bone with such great flavours. Dexter, the owner was full of smiles and positive energy, he clearly loves what he does. Thank you Dexter, we'll be back for sure!!

I am a huge bubble tea fan, I have them all over the place. I saw an advertisement for this bubble tea cafe on Facebook, we were staying in Deal for the weekend so decided to pop in here on our way home. The little shop is great, really friendly staff, great service. We ordered milk tea - brown sugar with tapioca bubbles. It was really really good! I also brought some merchandise while I was there, some panda stuff (as I’m a little obsessed with them) some stickers and notepads plus some snacks to take home. The prices were really reasonable and a good size drink. As said before I have bubble tea where ever I go and this is the BEST I’ve ever had. I will def be returning.

We recently spent a few nights at the adjacent campsite and went to The Grapevine for breakfast one morning. It was an excellent breakfast - possibly a little pricey but you don’t mind when you get a generous and tasty meal. Cosy little cafe which was very much appreciated on a rainy, windy morning and it also doubled up as a shop with essential items for campers.

Very sad to say that our experience of papa’s tonight was appalling. My 84 year old mother went in to order, she was snapped at because she couldn’t hear, she was tutted and commented at in a rude way because she adjusted her face covering, we were made to wait in the smelly alley way for the food , and when I asked if there were any napkins I was told “no” No explanation just a curt “no” Won’t be going back there again there is no excuse for rudeness !

I stayed here in November. The place is spotless the staff are very friendly and the rooms are perfect. I would recommend to anybody, staying one night or a week. The room has plenty of space as well. The food is also great via room service, it is attached to an Italian.

Found a recommendation on line to to stay here in our Campervan. The friendliness of the staff here is whelming. The guys all so helpful and the the place is spotlessly clean! In the Loft café, again the helpful friendly and professional staff provide excellent food at a very reasonable cost. And will accommodate all diets to the available food allowing. Open until 11PM with Booz available too! Ok, so sleeping over night in a truck stop isn't expected to be silent, but. It's safe. No one's going to hammer on your camper at 3 AM. The 'boy racers aren't going to shower your moho in shale. Lone female campers are safe and welcome. The showers are clean spacious and hot. Try it. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. You've got 24 hours here so plenty of time for a lie in.
