We had breakfast at this lovely cafe. The food was lovely and was served with a smile. I would definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast and coffee.

Stopped for a coffee, cake and a rest. Friendly staff with a good quality coffee and cake. Sat outside on tables and chairs on one of the few sunny days in June.

Stopped for a coffee but the good looked and smelled so good we stopped for lunch. Glad we did. The smoked salmon bagel was spot on, and the crispy bacon one was divine. Fwor!

Absolutely perfect! I had a Chicken, mozzarella and pesto sandwich and my partner had a Pastrami & cheese bagel. Both freshly made to order and very reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend

I came in here for a bagel and a drink. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bread they were selling also looked incredible! Highly recommend!

For my first visit here I bought a sausage roll which melted in the mouth , a Cheese and Onion Pastie which was quality and enjoyable, and for a treat for later in the day I bought a rhubarb and cherry strudel which I thoroughly enjoyed and wished that the portion had been a bit bigger as the cake was delicious.

I'm a local and I have now had breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails at the village kitchen. Quality food and excellent service and it's always been friendly. I'm very pleased to have thus business in our village.

We recently spent a few nights at the adjacent campsite and went to The Grapevine for breakfast one morning. It was an excellent breakfast - possibly a little pricey but you don’t mind when you get a generous and tasty meal. Cosy little cafe which was very much appreciated on a rainy, windy morning and it also doubled up as a shop with essential items for campers.

Very sad to say that our experience of papa’s tonight was appalling. My 84 year old mother went in to order, she was snapped at because she couldn’t hear, she was tutted and commented at in a rude way because she adjusted her face covering, we were made to wait in the smelly alley way for the food , and when I asked if there were any napkins I was told “no” No explanation just a curt “no” Won’t be going back there again there is no excuse for rudeness !
