This is a hidden gem!!! We came in as kitchen closing but they couldn’t be more accommodating. Never rushed us and Becky was amazing with her hospitality!! The food was phenomenal. Manuel the chef and owner came out and made sure we were happy and well taken care of. We stumbled app. this restaurant while visiting our daughter. We are from Sourh Carolina. Must visit!!!!

Lovely looking hotel from the outside, great location to the town as its only a 15 minute walk. The rooms are decently furnished. There was only 3 pillows in the room which were very flat but the reception kindly organised another pillow. The issue for me was that there was a 50th Birthday party and we were only informed via the booking.com app and not via email so we were unaware that the music would be going on until midnight, not the hotels fault. We would have liked to have relaxed and gone to bed earlier but couldn't because of the relentless thumping from the music, if we had known I'd have probably gone elsewhere as we were up early for a long drive. The TV now doesn't have terrestrial channels but only pay on demand ie BBC iplayer or Netflix. We did stay here last year and the room was brilliant for a wedding. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent with a very attentive lady running the breakfast sitting. Overall I like the hotel and location, friendly staff and a brilliant breakfast, based on this and the £80 price for a double room with breakfast you can't go wrong, in future we will ask the hotel before booking to see if there are any functions going ahead but against the fact that Premier inn are charging £150 for the a double and breakfast you can't have it all.

Parkgate is such a little gem on the Wirral and Chows Eating House has one of the best views over the Dee estuary. The food matched the view and the service was exemplary! After seeing that I was celebrating my birthday, the staff kindly marked the occasion with a cake and traditional gongs. A memorable day in every way. Thank you all at Chows.

Our regular go to for superb Indian food. Was here at the weekend and in September for a birthday meal with friends. It is friendly, homely and we are always greeted and welcomed like good friends. My little treat to the wonderful staff, a small piece of my birthday cake, so very warmly and gratefully received. The food here is outstanding. The staff are so friendly and always have time to spare to have a genuine chat. We love being able to take our own wine which helps keep costs down for us. Nothing is too much trouble for this family and team of staff. We have been going since day one and it keeps on getting better. If a dish needs tweaking to your preferred taste, just let the staff know. Nothing is too much trouble. Keep it up mangrove family.

Lovely surroundings, comfy sofas, very tasty local gins, and a tasting plate of 3 small beers. Perfect, couldn't wish for better.

Staff friendly, comfortable seating and excellent food. Three of us all ordered the mixed grill, it was a huge plate of food two of us ended up taking some home. Pork chop, lamb chop, gammon, steak, sausage etc and proper hand cut chips. The service was spot on.

We go to The Bridge about 4 times per year. We are not very extravagant but when we do eat out we want it to be better than I can make at home. Any guest we bring with us all love it too. Every meal we’ve had here has been excellent! My favourites are Twice Baked Cheese Soufflé, The Seafood Linguini, my hubby loves the Fish & Chips (he has this every time he goes, lol) . My son loves the Squid starter and I also love the Pate when it’s on. I had a gorgeous fish course in spring but I forget the name of the fish which was the whitest fish I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend Bridge Bistro.
