Ego at The Green Dragon, Lymm in Warrington

Well, at least it was cheap - 20% off with email sign up. The food was very average. My veggie friend had the sweet corn fritters - they looked disgusting and tasted only a little better. The wine was white, warm and woeful. Service was friendly enough - that was the only plus point.

Party of 10 with varied choices from the menu. Steaks were feeble and fatty, shouldn't have been give the Title Sirloin. The pizza came on a very hot plate but was cold. The pizza was also not cut, suggest buying the Chef a pizza cutter The Chicken dish that came with flat bread, had been sat under a heat lamp to long, dried up and in edible. This was brought to the waitresses attention, the Waitresses spoke to her Manager and we were offered a replacement. No SIGN of a MANAGER. PARMENTIER potatoes, as an extra side needed seasoning and garlic The waitress needed prompting to clear the mains. The kitchen must have been a long walk away as the table was cleared 2 plates at a time at 5 min intervals. Service Poor Food Poor Not going Back

I didn’t book this but apparently it was very easy to do online. We had a table booked for 1pm and it was enlightening to see it had a number of tables already taken as it was relatively early. My papa is currently using two walking sticks after surgery and after greeting us the next question was are you ok with the small step. The small details are actually quite massive.😍 We were taken to our table up the small step and were greeted by our server. Arabelle was just a lovely friendly, smiley relaxed young lady completely professional and helpful Ok so all that was lovely so what about the food? It was fab. Plentiful, tasty and really good value for money and next time I will definitely leave room for a pudding. No wonder this place was busy everything was on point. Great service, great food and a really lovely environment. We couldn’t fault anything and will definitely go back

We visited Egos Green Dragon Lymm to celebrate my Wife’s birthday and there were 10 family members in total. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the food was excellent with everyone being very complementary on their food choices. We were looked after by a young lady named Evie who was outstanding and her customer service skills were exemplary.

Restaurant is lovely, staff very friendly, food delicious , the king prawn linguini was the best Iv had, there were so many prawns I couldn’t believe it, 2nd time Iv had this meal & still had as many prawns in it , fantastic

Excellent service as usual. Would love the chance to have the fish and chips on a Sunday, and my wife would love the steak pie but as it is the food is very good.

The food was lovely nice and hot and very tasty, especially the roast potatoes! Our server was very nice, nothing was too much trouble. A lovely restaurant that’s very pleasant to visit. We really like to go there so will be back.

Went for my daughter’s birthday with family. Great service, fabulous food. My Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Clean plates from everyone.

Birthday meal that was not as pleasant as we hoped for the waitress was quite brisk I pointed out the chips were not nice no discount not not knocked off our £300 bill the WiFi for payment by card is stressful as the card machine struggles to connect needs looking at the atmosphere was subdued for a Saturday night

Food is always consistently good and staff are always great with us , they always know what we are having ! The atmosphere is always good too .
