Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos haciendo pubs por esta parte de la ciudad cuando decidimos pasar por The Vernon Arms Pub, hemos estado aquí antes en muchas ocasiones a lo largo de los años, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un pub de gran aspecto, dos habitaciones, un bar de servicio de aspecto fresco domina la sala principal, decoración ecléctica y muebles, pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, es solo un pub muy bueno para relajarse. Estábamos aquí en una tarde de febrero amargamente fría, pub estaba ocupado con un gran ambiente, un estudio rápido de sus cervezas reales y los dos optamos por tener cervezas pálidas de White Brewery, estos se sirvieron en condiciones prístinas, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este pub ocupado y popular mientras bebíamos nuestra cerveza pálida. Mi pale ale era realmente buena, dorada, lúpulo, llena de sabor, una esencia sutil de cítricos que da un acabado ligeramente amargo, una pale ale clásica británica servida en un pub británico clásico. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra cerveza pálida aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a The Vernon Arms Pub nos lo pasamos muy bien. El Vernon Arms Pub es fácil de ubicar a lo largo de Dale Street. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a jueves, 11 am a 11 pm. Viernes y sábado, 11 am hasta medianoche. Domingo, mediodía hasta las 11 pm. The Vernon Arms on Dale street was one of the many pubs and bars we visited on a bit of a pub crawl around the city centre.It's a superb old school pub that offers a superb range of cask ale's and a great food range and it's a pub that we've been to hundred's of times over the years. It's housed in a very distinct building with a two roomed cosy interior.The main area as you enter this pub has superb fixture's and feature's and excellent seating options.The backroom has a brilliant interior with many posters of magicains from a bygone era.Its a pub to relax and unwind with a few beers and a tasty meal. On our first visit this year this excellent pub was fairly busy and it only took us a couple of minutes to get served.When we visited in the afternoon we had a few glasses of real ale which were as usual superb and where reasonably priced. It's a brilliant old school pub that's located in a superb area of Dale street and it's well worth visiting if your around this area.(This is my sixth review of the Vernon Arms). Opening Hours. Hermoso pub! Muy limpio, y encantador personal de bienvenida. Gran selección de bebidas y comida, todo a excelentes precios. Encantado de haberlo encontrado en nuestro viaje a Liverpool, y sin duda volveremos.

Nos alojamos en un Airbnb muy cerca, y nos estrellamos el Vernon varias veces. Buen ambiente y come, buena música, deportes en vivo, y gran servicio. Gracias!

This was my first time in Vernon arms and I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice, small, old fashioned pub. We ordered the "lunch rush" special which was 2 main meals for £12. Which was AMAZING! We also ordered 2 Kopperberg ciders and our total came to £24. The only reason I am giving 4 starts in stead of 5 is because I feel like £6 for a cider is a bit expensive....don't know if there was some mistake.... But the food was so affordable, and great value for money, that I couldn't be too mad!! Service was great!

One of our favourite Liverpool boozers. Great ale selection at good prices (and well kept) plus a lovely traditional pub atmosphere and decor. Well worth a visit if you’re passing. You won’t regret it!

Un pub que siempre espero visitar en cualquier viaje al centro de Liverpool que tome es The Vernon Arms Pub, que ha estado aquí antes en muchas ocasiones, siempre lo pasó bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita. Un pub de gran aspecto, muy tradicional, decoración y mobiliario pubby, un llamativo bar de servicio domina la sala principal, dos habitaciones y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, es solo un pub realmente bueno para relajarse. Pedimos cervezas pálidas de la cervecería Fyne Ales Farm, estas se servían en condiciones prístinas, agarramos una mesa en la habitación de atrás donde nos relajamos y planeamos pasar la noche mientras bebíamos nuestra cerveza pálida. Mi pale ale era muy buena, una cerveza crujiente, pale ale bien equilibrada, toques de toffee, un delicioso aroma y regusto con un acabado suave, una cerveza pale ale clásica británica servida en un pub clásico británico, era tan bueno estar en un pub tan encantador disfrutando de una cerveza de calidad y se sentó con mi hermano gemelo, mejor compañero de cerveza del mundo. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra cerveza pálida aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a The Vernon Arms Pub nos lo pasamos muy bien. First rate real ale pub in Liverpool city centre

Visited this pub on and off for over 30 years,nice local atmosphere with a good selection of beers at reasonable prices.Always pop in there when we're around Dale Street area.

Las mejores noches de mi estancia en Liverpool fueron en The Vernon Arms. El personal y los clientes son siempre tan amables. Te sientes como en casa de inmediato. Y el pastel de carne de Nev es celestial.

If you're after a great pint in a great environment then this is the place for you. The staff are so friendly and the sloping floor is something to behold (and over come when you've had a couple 😂)

Cracking Classic Boozer with good value pub grip, a good selection of real ales and friendly staff.

Great Pub to have a drink and interesting slanted floor. However, a serious case of black mould in the toilets. There should be a health and safety concern and they shouldn’t be opening the toilets with this harmful substance everywhere. As well as a lot of damage to the toilets in general. Surely it doesn’t take a huge amount of money to renovate and make it look less like a Third World toilet.

Muchas gracias a Conor y al equipo por la fiesta de cumpleaños de mi marido que fue todo lo grande - gran cerveza, gran personal, gran servicio, gran ambiente y buena comida. El personal trabajó duro para garantizar que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos, mostrando gran profesionalidad y cuidado. Llegamos a la sala de actos decorada con las banderas de nuestros invitados internacionales, con globos y pancartas ya instaladas. Esto fue toda una hazaña, junto con dirigir el pub lleno en un viernes ocupado. El buffet tenía una excelente relación calidad-precio, con una amplia mezcla de platos fríos y calientes, que simplemente seguían llegando. La discoteca y el karaoke de Phil se sumaron al animado proceso. Después de pasar la noche cerca, volvimos para tomar una relajante bebida a la hora del almuerzo, encantados de encontrar que nuestras tarjetas, gifs y decoración ya habían sido empacados para nosotros, todo listo para llevar a casa. Simplemente, el mejor pub de Liverpool, por todas las razones anteriores.

The choice of real ales was very good. A true character pub. A sure inclusion for a pub crawl around Liverpool City centre.

Estuvimos con amigos en Liverpool un par de días El primer día usamos el servicio de autobús hop on hop off El guía turístico dijo que mientras Vernon’s no ofrece un descuento a los usuarios de autobuses, tienen un precio razonable y que su papá recomienda los pasteles. Así que lo intentamos Era un pub pasado de moda y mi única crítica sería que los baños eran anticuados y sucios Los cuatro fuimos con las patatas fritas y los guisantes. Decent old fashioned British pub. Sport on the TV. Rev James on draft. Lots to like. Never too busy, never over quiet. Friendly staff. Take cards. Beer can get a bit cold in the winter due to cellar temperature. Otherwise you get a good night out, no hassle, no frills. More a drinking pub - but see some eating too earlier on usual bar fayre.

My twin brother and I had just enjoyed a great day out in our beautiful city visiting some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, before catching the last train back to Kirkby from Moorfields Railway Station we dropped into The Vernon Arms Pub, always had a good time here and do it proved on our latest visit. A great looking pub,two roomed,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main drinking room,pubby decor and furnishings and big screens and tv's to enjoy the sport, its just a wonderful pub. We had a study of their real ale's and in the end we both opted to have pale ale's from Ossett Brewery, these were served in pristine condition, we chilled out and enjoyed our last real ale of the night. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale, hints of toffee, very easy to drink,a classic British pale ale served in a classic British pub, its hardly surprising that this pub is so popular with ales served in this good a condition. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Vernon Arms Pub we had a great time. The Vernon Arms Pub is easy to locate along Dale Street, a street and area teeming with great real ale pubs. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, midday till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, Midday till midnight. Sunday, midday till 11pm. Well worth seeking out if you're in the area.

Fine original old pub with great choice of beers

An old pub on Dale street which appears to have musical entertainment on some evening. We visited on Sunday night as close to our accommodation. Great music from Joe Pailin from 5pm for 2 hours. Thoroughly enjoyed our pre dinner drinks with the entertainment.. Worth a visit if you’re staying near Dale street.

Best pint of Guinness in town. Wherever I go I always look for an old traditional pub full of locals. Not disappointed here.

Before starting a week's holiday in Torreblanca ( Costa Del Sol ) my twin brother and I decided to have a day out in Liverpool City Centre visiting some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, at the top of our list was The Vernon Arms Pub ,been here before on many occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, its a two roomed Victorian era pub, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, eclectic decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a fabulous pub to unwind in. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, pub was just starting to get busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered a pale ale each, these were served in excellent condition, we grabbed a table in the back room were we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our pale ale's. My pale ale was outstanding, crisp, hoppy but not overhopped, hints of toffee, a very smooth pale ale that was just easy to drink, its not surprising to me why this pub has such a good reputation for the quality of its real ale's when you taste a pale ale this good. We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Vernon Arms Pub we had a great beer experience. The Vernon Arms Pub is easy to locate along Dale Street, a street and area teeming with great real ale pubs. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Fantastic choice of real ales, I had the scarecrow by Brimstage and a very friendly atmosphere. I didn't try the food so can not vouch for that but plenty of people were having food so I guess it must be good.

Been holding monthly meetings here for the past 4 years. Curry and chips is the best meal and reasonably priced. Always has an excellent selection of beers and service is always quick.

Travelled from Blackpool today to meet 2 of my oldest friends for a catch-up. Went to the Vernon, was made very welcome, the atmosphere was really good, the food was excellent and the staff were so polite and friendly. A credit to our home city. Thank you Jom and Barbara. I'll be back.

Didn't have any food but the ale was superb and great service this will be my first pub next time I'm up Liverpool worth a visit.

Ordinarily my type of pub, a real old-fashioned boozer. Unfortunately, the larger was awful. Although the barrel was changed whilst I was being served, the Carling was flat and tasteless. My wife and I had a few mouthfuls and left the two pints to find a better pint elsewhere.

The Vernon Arms is just the type of pub that I look for, a good old fashioned boozer with some magnificent real ales on, all on top form i might add. As i expected the bar staff were really friendly and asked what sort of beer i wanted, giving me a few tasters on the way, and i went for a Cheshire Cat which was perfectly poured and went down a treat, so i had to get another as it would have been rude not to. 10 /10, a must for real ale drinkers. Ps I couldnt rate the food as i don't know if they did it.

Great pub on the corner of a lane. Good selection of beers available. Music played in the background. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the toilet cubicle door was broken and wouldn't lock. Apart from that, no problems at all. Also friendly bar staff.
