Very nice and reasonably priced

Chips were either reheated or sat for a long time as most of them were too hard and crispy, hardly any beans and expensive for what it is. Cheaper and better quality Fish & Chip shops around.

been told after ordering and paying that the chips will be a 10 min wait multiple times, which is okay sometimes, but when i’m in a rush i need to know before i commit. mushy peas are just over done peas with no form of sauce. chips are average

Went here on a whim but won't be rushing back. Never a good sign when there are gimmicky meal deal offers with pictures on the wall in a chippy. The lady who took the order was friendly, the order of fish, chips & peas was taken & the fish was cooked fresh. The portion size is large but the chips had a bitter, peculiar aftertaste & the fish was predominantly a thick, heavy batter but worst of all the potted peas had added salt.

Ordered via deliveroo yesterday, can't fault the food at all and I'm fussy! Large Haddock was massive, it's definitely for 2 people and the large chips contained loads. The curry sauce and mushy peas were all great. Would definitely order from here again!

Omg the food is so freshly cooked every time. The chips are excellent. And I don't think I have seen gravy so thick any tasty from a chippy ever. Well done, guys. The staff are super friendly every time I have been. And when she said to me what chips do you want confused the crap out of my, I thought what type of chips do you, but she meant small normal or large ffs!

I tried contacting them after placing my order to try change something and 11times I rang and got no answer the last few times didn’t even ring went straight to voicemail and one of the times it’s like they answers and put the phone down straight away

Food was good ordered through just eat. Unfortunately the meat potato pie was off, looked like mould and something blue look liked ink.

Food was AWFUL. Fish batter was spongy and cold I drove 5-10 minutes home. It was 8;45pm they open til 10. The chips were like warm and the peas were dark green and stuck together. When I rang, they asked me to go back but who wants to do that- don’t have it sat there waiting and use fresh ingredients. Really disappointed. No offer to deliver a replacement. I ate the chips around it and sat here a bit frustrated. Chips soggy. Best part was my drink of vimto.

Chips were pale and stale. Barm came with just a lump of butter slapped in the middle without an attempt to spread. Curry sauce was spot on.

Original report stated delivery will be 7.40pm and it arrived at 8.05pm approx. The driver took a detour of at least 3 miles as I watched him head towards Levenshulme when I live about 10 minutes from the restaurant. I have no doubt this was the drivers fault this food was not fit for eating!! If you need it, I screenshot the app to show how far away he went!

Large fish had batter that was very undercooked. Mushy peas were not mushy. Remainder of the order was very tasty.

Just bought fish,chips and mushy peas for here,omg what a mistake,cost £11.62 The lot is in the bin what a waste of money, should of none never buy from a empty chippy,shame the food was not like the fancy boxes and carrier bag,should of eaten them instead of the food.

Great Halal Fish & Chip Shop in Stockport. Small Fish & Chip doesn't look small at all, hugee portion. It's one of the best Chippy I have been to. Very clean, friendly staff, good service and prices. highly recommend, it's definitely worth trying. You won't be disappointed. 17/06/2024 update Very, very disappointing with the food quality. This is the 2nd time the food was awful. The chips were burnt cold when I ordered the 5 portion of fish & and chips. I special told the staff to make sure all the food is fresh, but it wasn't. Find the updated pictures, don't recommend anymore, and now have to change my rating from 5* > 1* as this is 2nd time now in a row

Awful taste worst food chips, ordered 5 portion of Fish & Chips, soggy burnt and cold chips received in order, I did told the staff to make sure everything is fresh as this is the 2nd time, but unfortunately disappointed as usual, not recommend waste of money and time,

Store does not have a clue about allergen’s. I asked for the allergen menu and at first I was told there wasn’t one. Then a scrappy piece of paper appeared which was hand filled in and was completely incorrect which stated products which clearly contain milk did not.

Says 20-35 mins delivery… yeah sure ! Deadest fish and chips I’ve seen and the sausages looked like they’ve been there all day and was solid ! Didn’t even put salt and vinegar on It to hide the blandness. Gravy was flavourless. All in all if you like to waste money and wait so long you even forgot you ordered a chippy until they knock on your door then go ahead.

I ordered online from here and the portion sizes are amazing, I wasn't expecting so much for the price, the food is cooked to perfection and I even got some free chips and sausage, thank you so much I'll definitely be ordering from here again everything is so worth it plus its the first place in stockport I've found to do saveloys since moving from my old city
