Really enjoyed lunch and cocktails here today, the food was delicious and the drinks hit the spot, if you like a sweet drink I recommend the cherry Bakewell friendly welcoming staff 10/10
Paid for parking nearby to go here. To then walk to here to see they had decided to close early(its 8pm and says open till 10pm) really annoying that a business cant be bothered to update their business hours!
Very friendly service with great teas and coffee and the tea bread served toasted with butter ss amazing. If it wasn't misty looked like a greatcview across Windermere.

Discusting should had checked reviews before coming here, think the chef here must have worked on a pig feeder previously, food is discusting the taste and smell is worse than anything we've ever had. Either get a new chef or you will be closing down -1 out of 10.
Took a gamble and was not disappointed. Had a selection of wings and fries.
Absolutely fantastic, best chicken I've had, loads off flavour n juicy, just fell off the bone
Looking forward to try the Manchester one.
Note..10% service charge added to bill
We decided to try here after seeing the proprietor of Moor Hall (a Michelin starred chef) rave about this place.
We visited on an early Friday afternoon, expecting to have missed the lunchtime rush. There were two tables available, all the rest full, and we clearly got there just in time, as there was then a queue of people awaiting to be seated. Just in time indeed!
Our order was taken promptly by the waitress, and our meals appeared very quickly, piping hot and full of flavour. I went for the haddock with chips and mushy peas, my OH for the cod with chips and peas. It's incredible value for money as it is, coming with a round of buttered bread and a drink, but it genuinely is one of the best 'chippy teas' I've had, and the cost is probably cheaper than my local chippy! The flavour is brilliant. I genuinely can't see how anyone can complain for the quality of ingredients you get, for the price you're paying.
If you're in the area, give it a whirl. If you're not in the area, make the trip anyway. It's very much worthwhile.

Bit disappointed with the menu choice, not much that is healthy just pub grub. Fish choice was turbot special for over £30 which was a poorly presented meal. We had to ask for more fish as the portion was tiny. In contrast the roast beef was extremely tasty and good value. Staff were friendly but lacking in experience or anyone to direct them. We barely got a glance when we saying goodbye. It's a shame that we probably won't be rushing back as it used to be one of our favourite places but if you like traditional pub grub it might be worth a visit for you.
La comida aquí es muy buena. Un ambiente agradable también, se siente muy japonés. El servicio en un sábado por la noche ocupado fue muy educado, aunque un poco lento, como es tan común en todas partes en estos días. Un gran resto para visitar con familiares y amigos
