Had a lovely evening. Great company great food and great service from Aliyah. Superb value for money. A bottle of wine for a tenner can't be beaten.

We visit the punch bowl as often as we can, since moving to north wales. We love the food and atmosphere couple that with friendly staff you can’t go wrong. As many places you go for a meal they can run short on menu items, but this is rare in the punch bowl and to be honest not a big deal. We would recommend a visit and see for yourself how nice and friendly it is.

Wow food and staff amazing, nothing too much trouble. Also as a disabled person, the access was really good. Also the disabled toilet was spotless, had all the right adaptations, also for once the toilet seat was higher than normal. Well done whoever designed this bathroom, makes such a sifference

Lovely place but sad they dont serve pistachio ice cream anymore that was my favourite so no desert for me . Staff lovely , must admit I prefer dogs not being in restaurant because some bark and my grandaughter is terrified. Just want to say I am a dog lover but just think they should stay outside for reason above.

Excellent service from the word go, our waitress was called Emily she went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience, she was very helpful and was very good at recommending what gin was the best I really appreciate her opinion. I think the Sunday lunch is over priced. I expected a really nice Sunday lunch but I was disappointed. The roast potatoes were not fresh and tasted like frozen potatoes that had been placed in the oven. My pork was tough and so was my chicken . The beef was cooked really well The service was great and so was the place itself. I just did not enjoy the meal. I didn’t complain but would not go back.

Everything about the visit was perfect, the restaurant was lovely with very enjoyable food, a good variety of choice on the menu, excellent service and very reasonably priced.

We arrived early and our table was already prepared. Our drinks order arrived promptly and we chose what we wanted from the 'Festive' menu. The mushrooms were least exciting, but the turkey escalope and traditional veggies were delicious and looked as good as they tasted. The dessert was a generous portion. We were served by a very cheerful and helpful elf called Heather! Heather was really lovely, and when one cracker had no gift another cracker was provided. This is our annual Christmas visit and we will be back next year.

From arranging the table, paying deposit and pre-order to dining, I can't fault this place. We were a large group of 15 attending for a pre Christmas celebration. We were served by Cath and Heather and nothing was too much for them. They double checked our pre orders, were very attentive and chased when one of the desserts was a little slower to arrive. The food itself was delicious with very generous portions that catered well for the vegetarians in the group. We were all really pleased (and full!), thank you very much Cath and Heather for a lovely afternoon!
