Sultan Turkish Mediterranean Bar & Grill in Sefton

Very clean and a menu to suit all ages. Meal sizes are and plentiful. The Sultan is very Covid aware and guests are separated accordingly.

This was the second visit to the Sultan and, like the first time, did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in it was a most enjoyable experience. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is absolutely amazing, as are the portions! Excellent valuefor money . Drinks are very reasonably priced too. I can't recommend the Sultan highly enough. We're already planning our next visit.

Visited on a Sunday for a Family Birthday meal, Staff where pleasant, great service. Well laid out tables with plenty of space. Food was excellent, well prepared with a very good selection and choice at good prices. Would recommend will definitely return again.

Excellent value for money and service. Was a Monday so fairly quiet but food very tasty & hot. Lovely flavours. Really creamy garlic mushrooms & chicken kebab - huge chunks, rice, salad & handful chips. Will be visiting again soon.

A two-course early starter menu for £12.95, I had the mixed souvlaki (three types of kebab cooked on an open grill) and full chargrilled fish of the day, a choice of salmon or Sea Bass I chose the latter as it's my favourite fish. It was cooked to perfection, To be totally honest I was surprised by the portion size which was a decent sufficiency, the chips that accompanied the meal were quite possibly the best I have had.The staff were friendly and welcoming which when you are a stranger in a city is always a bonus. 5* food at very reasonable prices you couldn't ask any more.I also like to inspect the as you can tell a lot about a place by checking them out, it they a spotless 99.9% of the time the rest of a place is, an in this case they were spotless

Excellent meal, very good value, friendly and attentive staff, well worth a visit. Good location and lovely atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant mainly for the sea bass which we seen in the menu via the website only to be told they only do it of a weekend? I had the humans for starter which was lovely and my boyfriend had the garlic bread (which would of served 2!) He then had the souvlakia which was nice and I had the vine leaves which were also very nice although he was told he would get chips with his meal but just got rice. Also I got a side of rice which I thought was abit strange as most of my meal consisted of rice??I ordered a porn star martini that come with a glass of Prosecco.. we both couldn’t quite distinguish what the ‘proseeco’ was as it was warm and not a bubble in it. I was pretty sure it was either the flattest Prosecco I’ve ever tasted or some sort of wine?? They did offer to change it but I really didn’t want another glass of warm wine with my drink. Based on the sea bass being served only a weekend with nothing to tell you this and the warm wine with my drink and lack of chips I feel that 3 stars is acceptable. I would go back to see what the sea bass is like but obviously only of a weekend and I’ll stay away from the Prosecco, I’ll stick to coronas.

Visited this place for the first time as the menu was good. My girlfriend and I both were really happy with the food and service. They tailored the food with for our needs and well deserved a nice/honest review!100% visit again ! In fact already booked one !

Myself and my husband went here for tea on Friday - we were so pleased with our experience. The food was delicious and plenty. The decor was relaxing and comfortable. The staff were all very attentive, helpful and friendly. The value was amazing - we had the Early Bird menu which was £12.95ph for two courses... well worth it. We will be returning and would definitely recommend for couples, families, friends or celebrations.

I don't often leave reviews, I think I have only done 5 in 10 years, but left this place 15 minutes ago and what a wonderful place it is. The food is tasty and well cooked and the staff so friendly and attentive. I won't hesitate to return when we are in the area again.

Walking down south road couldn't decide where to go for something to eat when we came across this restaurant! As we were looking at the menu in the window a member of staff came out to see if we needed any help, he explained the menu to us & we decided it sounded nice so in we went. Lovely warm inviting atmosphere & really helpful staff that were so friendly showing us to our table, taking our orders & we didn't have to wait too long before our food arrived! Hot fresh & beautiful also vegetarian on the menu,will definitely be going again well worth a visit

Great meal couldn’t fault it salmon was amazing and the chicken thighs were great too! great place to go with a baby toys available to! Lovely interior and atmosphere

Loved every moment I was there. Hospitality was great young girl served us and what a fantastic member of staff you have. I have been quite a few times and the latest visit was amazing . Food was awesome and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat.

One of the better restaurants in the area. Excellent hummus and very tasty lamb shank for me. I will be back!

Been here a lot in the last few weeks and the food is always incredible. The service is friendly and personal which I like. They make beautiful cocktails and they are always strong! Keep up the hard work guys we will be back soon

First visit there with the family, food was very good. Service top notch, thanks to our lovely and beautiful waittres Elda, she made sure we were well looked after, and made it a very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you to the manager for the desert, was absolutely lovely. Overall, delicious food and impressive attitude from staff. Looking forward to visiting against. Highly recommended.

I've been several times and would highly recommend this place if you like traditional, freshly cooked food. I love the Acili Tavuk, juicy fresh BBQ,d chicken thigh fillets marinated in a delicious spice. It's the best Turkish restaurant that I've been too in Liverpool. The service is always outstanding, the staff are very friendly and always attentive. They also have Efes Turkish beer on draft, which goes down nice with the meal. It's also close to Crosby Lakeside so it's always the perfect place to finish off after a nice walk. I'll most definitely be back again very soon. I just love this place.
