The place is a little gem. Fantastic food, mouth melting plates, great atmosphere and spotless! The hygiene is a top priority and the people working there are a great team and really working hard to deliver an amazing result to the customers. Highly recommended to those who want to have a real taste of greek food. 👏👏👏👏

The food is cooked to perfection you wait because its cooked from fresh and not pre cooked and they all work very hard to make this moreish its not rushed just cooked properly prepared to high standards and staff front of house and back of house make you feel welcome recommend this to anyone who has an appetite for Greek food I eat in too I wouldn't go ant other Greek in thr sefton Borough thank you santorini for fulfilling my appetite x

Found this restaurant by accident while searching an address on google maps, stepping through the door is like stepping into a typical taverna on a Greek island. The place is spotless and brightly painted with typical Greek style furniture with the eating area spread over two floors with greek music playing in the back ground and a warm welcome by the staff. The menu is very comprehensive with most of the typical Greek favourites available and very reasonable prices. The food was excellent it arrived promptly and plenty of it! From the number of deliveries going out of the door it is obvious that Santorini's Taverna is very popular in the area. Well worth a visit just remember it is not your typical city centre restaurant.

Highly recommend the food here, I have ordered from here a fair amount of times now and tried different things each time, it never ever fails to amaze me on how nice their food is. They are also very accommodating and very generous with portion sizes , will definitely continue to order from here going forward xx

The best Greek food I've had! 11/10! You need to order the mushrooms starter dish because it was so gorgeous and creamy. The service was outstanding. They were so welcoming and happy to have us which was really lovely. Thank you! Also, it BYO beer for a tiny charge which I loved and they had perfume in the toilet that you could use to freshen up which was such a lovely touch. We will be back, thank you!

Ate on a Sunday. Food was really good. Great value for money with the mains served with rice, salad and of course Greek chips (the best). Mousaka was excellent. Really authentic. Definitely will be returning

Simply outstanding. A herald to the couple that run and own it. I have never flow a flag this high as I can cook and produce most foods to an exquisite level: Yes I am going to be that egotistical, if you don’t like it get then get a grip. Most recipes I can create to simply an astonishing level lol 😂. This however is a place to learn from. Their food, passion, creativity is something to be enjoyed and loved. I’m not getting into the nuances that per-say I lived in Crete for nearly two years, experienced most Greek culinary delights as well; yes the extreme of all the ways they can cook lamb and beautifully execute tzatziki it’s true Greek essence and experience. So delighted to becoming a regular xx 😘

Dined in a few times and alway been perfect. Had takeaway last night for the 1st time and quality was exactly the same as eating in.

We booked a reservation here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, with the atmosphere lovely and unhurried. Best of all the food was exceptional. Currently unlicensed, they were happy for us to bring our own wine and they didn't charge any corkage. A little Greek oasis that should definitely be noted.

Waited 1 hour 50 mins to have order cancelled by very abrupt ignorant woman when calling to find out how long order would be. Not for the first time this as happened but definitely the last. If you want to wait all night for you're delivery then use this place. Because I won't be ever again.

Lovely Greek food!! We ordered from here for a takeaway and the food was so tasty. We ordered the mixed meat kebab, the chicken skordo, calamari and the meatballs, the meat in the kebab was full of flavour, the chicken was succulent and the salad was very fresh, I would recommend giving them a go for quality food, the staff are friendly and even the delivery driver is smiley. I honestly have nothing to say but good things about this beautiful restaurant. The restaurant forgot to put the meatballs in the order but they contacted me and delivered them a day later with a generous offer to choose something on the house, we let them pick and oh my they sent halloumi fries which we’d never tasted and they were also amazing! Forgot to add…… the meatballs are a must! I will be visiting the restaurant to eat in next time to enjoy the Greek decor and atmosphere 😊

I absolutely love the food here. However its worth noting that the Gyros is not thinly sliced as we've had in previous Gyros so the Husband didn't like it as he had pork. Just worth a look note. But the food quality is amazing.

Seen this place recommended by a friend on Facebook and decided to give it a try.. great food, good sized portions and friendly staff. The place was spotless, bright and colourful and the staff were friendly and efficient. Would defiantly go back just for the halloumi fries. Easy 5 out of 5

Wow! What an amazing place, a real gem and can't believe it has taken me so long to visit. The food was amazing, reminds me of my times in Greece. The portions are massive and taste gorgeous. The homemade chips are fantastic too.... The venue is beautifully decorated with that little Greek tavern look. Spotlessly clean, excellent friendly service. No alcohol licence yet, so allowed to take own wine or beers (small corkage cost if large group). Once you've been here, you'll be back time after time. As everything or most is freshly made, possibly charcoal cooked, things may take longer to cook. So bear this in mind....take more wine, starter or pre order. We were in no hurry and was happy with service. Go along and support local, you'll be pleased. Thank you

Just been in to get cold starter, what an amazing place. Been here many times before but I needed to review. I encourage anyone in the area to support this local gem!! Staff are amazing and the decor just completed how good the food is. This restaurant is the best honestly.

Very good food, maybe a little too oily but still delicious. We had generous portions at a friendly cost. Totaly worth it!

Had a fantastic meal for the first time eating in. Would certainly recommend, ordered Greek salad and moussaka. My friend ordered garlic mushrooms and Santorini Chicken, salad, rice and home made chips to die for.! Took our own wine and payed corkage. So looking forward to returning. Honestly I eat a lot of takeaways and this place is flawless…fresh pitta well cooked meat…always on point! Amazing!

Just had a wonderful spring chicken 🐔 cooked on a charcoal grill, the accompanying dishes were excellent as was the tarasmatalta and the suprise at the end a lovely Greek pastry which I put in the oven. Well where do i start. This is the 3rd amazing meal I've had from this outstanding restaurant. The staff are so friendly and kind. I'm a huge fan of the chicken or haloumi gyros, tonight i went for the mixed kebab. There was enough food for 2 and it was piping hot when it arrived. The chips are made by magic I'm sure, they're so fluffy and tasty! My tip is mix the salad and rice together then scoop it all up with a pitta bread! Just had a takeaway for first time for hubby's birthday. Santorini was recommended .it was gawjess .. cudnt eat it all so do tmra nights tea aswell x well done guys

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 🌟 🌟 We had two Pitta Chicken Suvlaki for mains, a Greek farmer’s sausage and hallumi cheese as starters. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very welcoming and willing to help with our food choices. I would definitely visit the taverna again and recommend it to everyone.🙂🙏🏻

Had a takeaway tonight and everything was absolutely spot on tasted gorgeous, super hot and as good as we can get to the real thing. Would absolutely order here again and visit when open:-) staff were really lovely and helpful on the phone- definitely order over the phone rather than on just eat if you can too- really easy to pay. :-)
