The best restaurants in North West

The food was very good and we over ordered based on Tripadvisor reviews. The service was pretty poor and we kept asking for water and the waitress at one point spilled it on the table and didn’t bother cleaning it till 15 mins later (when bringing our desserts). Left 12.5% but this should not be added by the restaurant as I believe it impacts the service! Had to call her so many times. Good atmosphere.

We came here one morning for Breakfast after it was recommended to us from our Airbnb host ! It was a lovely place, warmly greeted and the food was delicious - highly recommend !

Visité aquí el sábado por la noche con la familia durante un fin de semana fuera de Lancaster. Nos encantó aquí. El ambiente es relajado y acogedor. La comida es un poco rústica, sin pretensiones cocinada en casa comida de Langashire. Realmente disfrutamos. La camarera del bar era genial... La pobre estaba sola y el lugar estaba bastante ocupado. Sentí que un par de clientes eran groseros con ella, pero ella lo manejó bien, a través de los dientes apretados... Sacó bebidas rápidamente a pesar de lo floja que estaba. Sin duda volveré cuando sea el siguiente en la ciudad.

It's my favorite Italian in town for coffee. They got bigger! They had the cafe and the resto apart (farina) and now it's all in one: resto, cafe, gelateria and chocolateria, one beautiful big place! Cappuccino with any pastry is my go to. Watch out when it's busy, it can become noisy...

Ellie and Jed was amazing, quick service at bottomless brunch , soon as we finished our drinks they was there straight away asking us for another. Highly recommend the pornstar spritz 😍 worth the money, food was fresh and tasty 😋 Staff was approachable and service with a smile 😊 😁 even when it got a little busier Ellie kept her eye on our drinks. Visited for the first time, lovely fresh food and well served pint ! Well kept establishment, all staff friendly and professional.

Was very excited to try this but sadly it's permanently closed I was told by their neighbors. It does not exist anymore.

Delicious salmon shashlik, decent sides. Really enjoyed our meal. Staff are hit and miss. The younger ones are really friendly, some of the older ones we find miserable 🤣🫣

Great place, loads of variety, good atmosphere and lots of choice on food.

Enjoyed a mixture of hot and cold mezze and grilled lamb which was done to perfection. Portions are generous and we over ordered a bit. Were a walk in but lucky to get a table on a Tuesday night. Atmosphere buzzy and service attentive. All round great experience

Ist time going there, first impression!!! Absolutely brilliant, service was brilliant, food was good and delicious. Couldn't fault except that they could do with some ambience music in the background

This is my first and last time ordering from roots. The chicken firstly didn’t come how it looked like in the advert pictures. The chicken (all the chicken was burned/overcooked) They burnt the chicken and still thought it’s a good idea to still sell it to a customer instead of making a fresh new one. The rice was average and was only decent adding my own mayonnaise. 0 flavours and the chip was the only good thing about it. I was surprised they didn’t over salty the chips and sell that too. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Stay far away it’s a waste of money.
