Went for breakfast yesterday with my girlfriend, was very quick to get us seated and order taken. Food was just what we was looking for. Look forward to coming back

Amazing American and English breakfast and a great selection of coffee and hot chocolate to go with it . Next time I'm in manchester I'll definitely be going back .

Our server Taylor was lovely and the food was amazing!

We got here on a Saturday about midday and there was a bit of a queue but waited a max 20-30 mins. When we got inside The FOH person seated us at one of the bigger tables which was nice! We had lots of space and we quickly became comfortable and it was clear to us that the restaurant cared more about service than filling up the tables (as they could’ve gone up the queue and asked if a bigger group could fill it like some establishments might). I had the special which was Pumpkin Spice and cinnamon pancakes, which were so delicious. And for drink I had the Biscoff hot milk drink, such a yummy brunch to get into the autumn feels 🧡 my mum had the avocado and egg bagel which looked really good too. All the food that came out from ours to other people’s looked really well presented like it was from a picture in a cook book. On top of that the guy who served us (brunette & slim, quite young) was so lovely and made our day with his quick witted banter and friendly service, we gave him a tip ❤️ I would definitely come here to eat again and not even mind waiting in a queue for it as it’s worth the wait :)

Came here Saturday morning with my girlfriend. As she is Austrian this was her first time trying the English breakfast and our first time visiting the 19 Cafe Bar. The breakfast was lovely and the service was great. Thanks guys!

We always come here when we want guaranteed good food, the service is always incredibly fast & friendly and the portion sizes are great. Best coffee’s in Manchester by far. The blonde waitress (didn’t get her name) was so lovely she even gave us an umbrella to leave with when it started raining. Thank you guys :)

First visit to Cafebar19 have seen the long queues to get in when passing, now understand why, lovely coffee and fabulous French toast Apple and Cinnamon dish. Highly Recommended

Every time we go to Manchester we visit Cafe 19. It’s part of our staple diet there, we absolutely love it. You’ll read on every other review how amazing the food is, the generosity of portion size and how the queues are always long, all of which are very true, however, I want to mention the staff. What a friendly efficient bunch they are, who never seem stressed despite what demands are made of them. We are regularly served by Taylor, a nicer more helpful individual you are yet to meet. Whenever friends visit us from different parts of the world, our go-to spot is always 19 Cafe, and that’s largely because of the incredible staff. Taylor, in particular, is the sweetest person you’ll meet in Manchester – always warm, welcoming, and attentive. The desserts and food are equally fantastic, making 19 Cafe not just a dining destination but a must-visit when we introduce people to the city. All in all a wonderful place! The Team was very calm, even when the Cafe was full, very professional and great teamwork and always attentive. My server, Taylor, was the most sweet person, he made my day and he was one of the best servers i met in a long time. The food was excellent and it was easy to get something with my dietary restrictions.

Well worth the 40 minute queue (although we did arrive at a very popular time). Excellent service and high quality food - will definitely be back. Thanks.

Saw this brunch restaurant on here and was highly recommended so we went there on our last morning in Manchester and absolutely loved it! The menu choices were so different and what we had was delicious! Was busy when we went on a weekday so can tell it’s a popular place but I’m not surprised. Would recommend to anyone!

Best American breakfast I've had outside the US, bacon was very smoky and crispy, maple syrup was proper maple syrup - almost savoury. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere.

Second time I've been here for breakfast/brunch and it's amazing. Medium queue outside but it was fine - I expected no less as it's a popular place and area and also weekend if ykyk. They checked if everything was ok before paying and also before taking plates. Great service and fantastic food. The guy who took the order was so lovely, I forgot to ask his name, but he was very welcoming and he should know that it is much appreciated to have that warmth when you go to a new place xx

We regularly come for a weekend breakfast or brunch and wouldn’t go anywhere else. As other reviews have said, the food is amazing and the portions are very generous. Whether you are after something sweet or savoury, there is a great choice and some brilliant specials. The service is also excellent and a special mention must go to Taylor, who is a real star. It is definitely worth the wait if there is a queue outside (and they will lend you an umbrella to keep you dry)!

Fancied a bit of brunch whilst in Manchester for work, we looked on google and a cafe 19 came up with good reviews and so we walked across on the off chance. It’s slightly off the Main Street and hidden by a bus stop so we wouldn’t have ever passed it had we have been looking for something without checking first. I was surprised at how busy it was for a Tuesday at 11am, so we choose to sit outside. The people working here were so friendly, we had a very smiley person looking after us. We went for 2 of the bagels, one with halloumi and sweet potato hash which was utterly delicious, and one smoked salmon and poached egg which was equally yummy. Really impressed by the vegetarian and vegan options and that they had halloumi on the veggie breakfast. Wish we lived closer as we would be back all the time.

I've been here before and honestly it's my favourite cafe in Manchester, the food is consistently on point and full of flavour. The poached egg, sweet potato and haloumi breakfast, I could eat that all day. Staff are super friendly and a delight. I'd say come here if you want a good breakfast whilst in the city, it's super close to the bus station and train station.

Food was unreal with lots of different options. The American breakfast lived up to expectations and was absolutely incredible. The matcha was also unreal. Would come back again and again. Price was also not too bad seeing that it was big portions. My fave breakfast place so far in NQ

Seriously though, it all began at the door. We locked Taylor's eyes and he offered a warm, inviting seat on an alluring and comfy sofa. Food's good, in fact it was great, oh thank God that I ate at this bar, oh so late. But whatever, for want of better words, I've never had better. Top marks bonnie lad Taylor what a true gentleman and connoisseur of the coffee and brunch experience. Miss Taylor is lurrrvley. She did rock my whole damn world. Werk Taylor. Werk! She betta. Short staffed, drink left to melt but was rudely replaced by being slammed on our table by young waitress. For the prices you need to do better and improve quality of food service and your staff training in dealing with a range of customers. The wait was not worth it

A warm welcome from the friendly staff. I had the American breakfast and my wife had the Irish breakfast both were very tasty indeed and I highly recommend it. In my eyes this is the best place to have breakfast in Manchester. Absolutely delicious food every time

Wow! We came to Manchester for a pre-Uni visit and found this little gem when we searched for breakfast venues. We had to queue for a short while as this is clearly a popular place. It was worth every second! My daughters and me were blown away by the amazing food and coffee was delicious. What made it even more brilliant was that there were only 2 ladies front of house and they were fantastic, they didn’t stop working but greeted everyone and every request with a smile and chat. The barista also never stopped and clearly took pride in his work. The chefs are clearly super talented too! I haven’t seen or tasted quality like it for a long time, customer service top tier. The 10% service charge was more than deserved so no problem with that being on the bill. Can’t wait to come back!

Just had the most delicious breakfast here (bacon and avo on bagel with an iced blueberry matcha). Staff were lovely and really welcoming, food came out quickly and frankly I’m annoyed I haven’t visited sooner! Can’t wait to come again.

Well, what can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. Cafe 19 is simply as good as the photos suggest. Ofcourse there are cheaper cafes out there, but trust me, it is worth the few extra quid to occasionally treat yourself here. The portions are definitely bigger than they look in the photos and can be a challenge even for big eaters. May I suggest, if you come here with family or a loved one, you should try ordering a savoury dish and a sweet dish and sharing both half each. That way you avoid a sugar overdose!!!

Amazing experience here; me and my mate wanted a banging Full English, so looked on google maps for photos and reviews, this place LOOKED appealing and it LIVES UP TO THOSE EXPECTATIONS. 10/10 FLAVOUR TEXTURE GENUINELY THE BEST ENGLISH BREAKFAST IN MANCHESTER FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE GOOD GO HERE (I would've taken a photo of the full meal but I was dying to eat it icl)

Having arrived for a late breakfast this morning, we was welcomed by a lovely host in a very busy environment. We waiting around 10mins on door before being seated. The young lady was very welcoming, polite, professional and very accommodating to us, as we needed to catch a train 😍. Food was absolutely fantastic, we had halloumi and avocado bagel, alongside very nice freshly made coffee. Service was very fast and friendly. Definitely be back and would certainly recommended. I had brunch here with my friend last weekend. The pancakes were amazing and had really large portions. The restaurant however is usually very busy as such we had to wait on a queue to get in.

This cafe was recommended to me and I’m so glad it was. The food was amazing, such friendly helpful staff, can’t praise it enough. Next time I’m in Manchester I will be back. Excellent!!

The stuff was very rude. Were ignoring me on purpose even though it was not crowded. It had to be me to ask for menu and ask several times to make an order but In the end I left as no one reacted.

Went here for breakfast for the first time as visiting Manchester. Wow. Food was amazing & plentiful! Four of us eating, 2 were veggie, & each had a different meal. All the food was beautifully presented & tasted amazing. Beautiful flavours. Staff were happy & friendly which created a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.

Service was impeccable, with immediate seating upon arrival. The drinks were served first - presented extremely well, with their taste matching the looks. The food was utterly divine which was served a bit after the drinks. The veggie breakfast encompassed a hearty, wide range of flavours - being a delicious meal for those who enjoy a savoury breakfast / brunch. The lotus biscoff french toast was magnificent. The brioche used was fried as to create an amazing aroma as soon as you slice into the bread, pairing perfectly with the biscoff hot drink; dipped in or sipped alongside. What tasted like almost an entire jar of smooth biscoff spread was appreciated when spread across the french toast, paired with forkfuls of vanilla ice cream, biscoff biscuit, bananas and a lovely caramel syrup. Generous portions, wonderful service and excellent food. What more can one ask for? Thank you for having us, we’ll be sure to see you soon!

Lovely place for brunch!! Food was amazing no wonder there was a queue, but luckily we went early so it wasn’t a super long wait. All the staff were wonderful but we were served by Taylor and he was so lovely! I could have chatted to him all day, and thanks to him my friends understand why I love Manchester so much! Definitely highly recommend ❤️

19 Café Bar offer the best pancakes you can find in manchester and that's a fact! I went for the Kinder Bueno Pancakes and they were huge, delicous and worth the price! Super generous with the toppings aswell. Nice and fluffy pancakes that weren't dry at all. The service is quick and friendly too which made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend.

Seriously good food and coffee. Really made my mornings in Manchester that much better, especially with the really fair prices too. This is now my go-to café in Manchester whenever i'm here next.

THE STAFF ARE SO KIND AND HAPPY! Not only did my husband and I go twice within 24 hours because of the food, we also went back for the great staff. I felt so comfortable, and welcomed, in this establishment. It takes a lot of confidence pushed by fear traveling in a new country and these staff members made our visit so wonderful. Absolutely recommend this place for their amazing food, AWESOME fruit teas, and EVEN MORE WONDERFUL staff! Thank you for making this American feel safe, heard, and happy. So in love with the environment at 19 Cafe bar!! And the wifi. Really really appreciated that hahah

The food was as good as always - I like that its got Irish breakfast which you can't find in any other cafe here. Chai latte was ok but didn't have much of that spice taste. Staff were friendly. The indoors was quite spacious

Can't fault it! Came at 10 am on bank holiday Monday - no queue outside but busy inside. Ordered a dirty chai & the Belgian chocolate chunk pancakes - holy sugar overload! The pancakes were VERY good - fluffy, piping hot, way bigger than expected, and loaded with choco chips, but they were incredibly sweet after a while. I couldn't finish even half before I started feeling a bit sick, so I definitely recommend splitting it with someone else. Dirty chai was good and a decent price. Staff were lovely and brought out the food quickly. About £17 total for both items. Overall would return, but maybe for the English breakfast next time 😂
