Probably in the top three martinis I've had in my life. I wanted a Gibson but the onions didn't make it in the delivery that day, but the dry martini I had (two of them to be exact) was outstanding...so much so that I asked exactly how they made it. As a martini lover, the precision was impressive. If you go, you MUST have the buttermilk chicken from the snack menu....you'll have an audible reaction (Etana!). The staff are fantastic...super friendly, and helpful with choosing gins and garnishes. Next time I'm in Manc, this is my go-to place for martinis and food.

Visited yesterday for my wife’s birthday along with 4 other friends for the gin tour. I found it rather boring and wouldn’t recommend doing it. £30 per person, (£180) After it ended we requested a table so we could have more drink. We were told it would be irresponsible to give us a table as a member of our party had been sick. That was news to us so two member's of our party went to find the person who was apparently being sick, she had simply gone to the ladies room, no sickness at all. Bear in mind we are all adults and had consumed a total of 3 drinks at this point. We left very disappointed and with a sour taste in our mouths for being accused of something that just never happened and secondly for being spoken to like children when our average is is 50! You’ve lost 6 loyal customers which will never drink in your bar again. In response to your reply, you have spoken with my wife and it’s very clear no one was sick. You can review your cctv as much as you like, until you can show me evidence of a member of my team being sick, I also stand by my decision to take my business elsewhere.

Been there last night, the food came in random order, sides came long time after the mains so had to eat our broccoli on its own. The quality of food was ok but not great. Our complaints were ignored initially and then they gave us a bottle of wine for free, didn’t even want anymore wine. Basically, keep away as for the premium price you will get rubbish service and very average food served in random order.

We held our wedding reception at Three Little Words in May 2024 after having several lovely meals (and more importantly gins) here and noting impeccable service and a beautiful venue. We hired the venue privately for 70 guests eating in a sit down meal and holding a total of 110 guests by evening for drinks and dancing. The first thing to note would be the incredible team that run Three Little Words. Despite not being solely a wedding venue, the organisation and accommodation that came from the team was second to none and if you are considering TLW as a wedding venue, the added flexibility of using a non traditional wedding reception is a real advantage with no strict supplier lists and openness with menu requests. On the build up to the wedding, Chloe and Kirsty (the event planning team) were incredible. They regularly communicated with me and made sure all of the finer details for our reception were noted and accommodated. The TLW's team (incl Chef, Bar Manager) were very honest and transparent throughout planning giving advice with costings and knowledge from their experience on the best way to run the day with timings to get the most out of their team. So many guests on the day said how good the food and drink was. Our vegan guests said they had never been so well accommodated and other friends said they had never been so well fed/it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We had the Sunday Roast as our main and it went down a treat for everyone. The portion was a great size and made sure nobody was too tipsy! The bar staff were amazing, with lots of friends saying how attentive and friendly the service was. We truly couldn't find a fault with the team. Thank you so much Three Little Words!

Been here for a drink years ago, not been back since until friends told us they do a nice Sunday Roast. Being dog friendly was a bonus too. Great staff on entering and during the visit. Only issue was took 20 mins+ to get the plates taken away for the roasts. Have to say the Sunday Roast was one of the nicest we've had in a very long time!!! Yorkshire pudding wasn't rock hard like it is in most places, carrots and Roast potatoes had great flavours to them, big pieces of beef too. We had a 2 course deal for both of us, it was £24 each. Bill came to £77 in tota including 10% surchargel!!! Can see why alot of people can't afford to go out for a meal much these day 😪 we didn't even have any alcohol!!!

Fantastic experience! We did a gin tasting followed by their date night deal, where you can get a cocktail and 3 small plates. Fab, overall. The gin tasting was hosted by Josh (I think), who did a great job going through the gin distillery process and walking us through the tastings. One suggestion I would have here is around tonic: I personally didn’t care for the light tonic in the G&T, and I prefer to try gins neat but also with tonic, as it can substantially change the flavor! So I think I would have preferred having a bottle of tonic to taste with the gins (after trying them neat). Otherwise, really great tasting experience. The date night deal with the cocktails and small plates was very good. The choices were quite limited, which I could see some people finding disappointing but our choices (fries, padron peppers, and chicken) were really nice. It wasn’t quite enough food for dinner though, for us, and I don’t think we tend to eat a ton. We then stayed for cocktails, which were FAB. Tom and Kieran took great care of us. Tom, in particular, let us try some of their other spirits and gave good drink recommendations. Also, worth noting that the venue itself is absolutely wonderful!! Under old railroad/bridge arches. So lots of exposed red brick but also wonderful yellow and dark blue velvet furniture. Really lovely and tastefully designed. Overall, this is absolutely worth a visit, whether for the distillery, drinks or food (or all 3!).

From the moment we arrived, Faye was an absolute star. We'd had a bad start to our day due to flight delays and a broken phone but that was soon forgotten due to the thoughtful welcome we received. We got a lovely booth along the plant wall and the two course Sunday Roast and the food was superb, not only in terms of quality but also quantity and value. For drinks we had 2 different gin and tonics, a glass of wine, a pint of craft beer and two delicious spins on the classic espresso martini. First impressions were great- it is a lovely space and there are so many good options on the menu- loved the 'star map' helping you to decide which cocktail to try. I mentioned to the kind lady taking care of us (Fay, thank you) that we were there for a birthday treat and she brought my wife a free glass of bubbly- an entirely unexpected but very appreciated gesture. All the drinks were excellent- everything we tried was using spirits/vermouth made in-house. The presentation as well as the taste of the drinks was awesome and I've never seen ice like it before- the biggest and coolest (pun slightly intended) I've ever seen. Came here with our Christmas present Sunday funday vouchers. Distillery tour interesting; thankfully not too much time stood looking at the stills, and really good fun to try the different gins. All a bit too 'Seb & Jen' for me (even the bottles have the story), which is far less interesting than the gin itself, but still interesting and excellent tour guide (didn't catch her name, but Scottish!). Sunday lunch really tasty; fabulous duck pate, beef cooked to perfection, fab Yorkshire puddings and delicious sorbets and attentive staff. My only grumble was the paying aspect. Went up to pay at the bar and basically not given chance to see what I was paying for. Assistant tapped lots of buttons and presented a large bill. I then pointed out that we had the voucher, and he tapped more buttons, and was presented with a not so large total, but was not given any chance to view the itemised bill. I am assuming service charge was included, which always irritates me, particularly when I could not see at what level it was charged (left wondering what one earth had brought the cost up to £68). I would have tipped as the staff were good, but not being given a chance to even see what I was paying meant I left with a bit of a sour taste; shame that that spoilt the experience.

The ‘ Manchester Gin ‘Gin Making Experienced was absolutely fantastic. We went for the gin making experience last Friday and what a fantastic evening! From the moment we arrived the excellent, friendly and Knowledgeable staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a great time. The evening started well with a generous G&T to get the evening going. This was followed by a highly amusing and instructive talk interlaced with the opportunity to try small samples of the different gins so that you could learn the complexities of different ingredients. After a tour of the Sthil’s we had a short break before another G&T of our choice and onto making our own bottle of gin using whichever ingredients we wished to take home… Guidance was given at every step. What a great way to spend an afternoon! A tour round the distillery, gin tasting, followed by Sunday lunch. I would highly recommend it.

We came here today at 5:30pm just for a drink with my girlfriend to be turned away saying they were full. There were at least 8 tables and seats at the bar empty. Not sure why we were told they were full, we were there for a drink nothing more no food, the staff who greeted us spoke down to us and made us feel we weren’t good enough to be there, we happily went away and took our money elsewhere down the road. Shocking behaviour

Every time I come here I love it more, from the minute you walk through the door, it has such a cosy and welcoming feel, always a lovely atmosphere. We had some small plates before we went to the theatre and they were all beautiful. Staff as always were super friendly, engaging and well just bloody lovely.

We visited for Sunday lunch and had a delicious beef roast served slightly pink. We did complain about the cauliflower cheese that we had as an extra: it was just a grey mush that didn't taste cheesy at all. It didn't enhance our meal at all. The waitress said that she would let the kitchen know but nothing more was said - not even an apology. Otherwise the service was very good, but special thanks goes to Faye at front-of-house who was wonderful and a real asset to Three Little Words.

A must visit in Manchester. If nothing else for the tremendous cocktails and gin - building is also a five star experience. Refurbished industrial warehouses with brick vaults intermingled with modern aesthetics with steel, glass and a fair amount of greenery. Is pleasing for both eye and bustling atmosphere. My company only had drinks in the bar, so I cannot say anything about the set menu (it looked mouth watering though) However, the drinks we had were second to none - my issue is that I wanted to try the entire menu. But I’m not sure a roaring drunk me would fit well with TLWs vibe :) Staff is professional and friendly, taking care in providing a great experience to the customer without feeling aloof. Thanks for the visit (Also! A little expensive, the locally distilled spirits you can buy from the bar allows you to go home with a slice of Manchester and pretend you’re your own mixologist )

Deeply disappointed! Came here for the New Year's party, so I cannot speak of the distillery or gin tasting side of things this time, only the experience on the night. The staff, while bare minimum pleasant, were not very good at their jobs. From a F&B stand point, the sheer amount of spillage on their pours was horrendous, and the cocktail menu of the night wasn't to any one of our groups liking, which was unfortunate. At one point we ordered prosecco and the glass was cracked and broken, the barman didn't notice till pointed out, but was rectified easily. The spillage of the liquor in one case meant the 'g&t' was just tonic. The bar is horrifically laid out for such a large gathering party, meaning no matter where you are, you're getting aggressively bumped into. On the right hand side of the bar, several of us stood when we arrived and staff kept moving from the bar to another room, so us, and the groups near us kept getting bumped into by the staff, so we moved to the dance floor, where there was no space. We eventually returned and a staff member hit one of us with a trash bag causing liquid to spill down them. We kept having to shuffle about as there was no where we could stand. On the flip side, the atmosphere was electric, and the toilet area was clean and the staff on the door who welcomed everyone was very fun, pleasant and informative. Overall, the night was just a let down for a place that usually seems to be high 4*.

Really quite unprofessional service and behaviour from staff , First impressions were good despite being made to sit at the bar (not quite sure why at there were loads of free tables which remained free for the elation of our stay). Order two gin and tonics - lovely! Unfortunately the staffs behaviour left a sour taste! Staff swearing in conversation in eatshot and staff taking shots behind the bar in sight of customers - highly unprofessional! To top it all off we were charged a service charge when we ordered from the bar! What a joke!

Made to sit at bar despite plenty of seats being empty! Staff demanding and taking shots from bar man in front of paying customers! Staff in conversation and swearing with each other! Also had the audacity to charge a service charge when we ordered from the bar! Highly unprofessional! Will not be returning!

My friend and I went for the Sunday Funday which was the gin making experience followed by a Sunday roast. This was a present from my friend, for my 50th birthday. She had bought it for me back in March but I had waited to book it as she lives in Norfolk and always comes up to visit at Christmas time. We had a fantastic afternoon! The gin making was really good fun and we learned a lot while doing it. Our host was really informative and told us the story beforehand about how Manchester Gin was started. We had fun making the gin and had plenty to taste, plus we had two gin and tonics as well while making our own gin. My friend decided to pay extra to make her own bottle. Afterwards we had a roast lunch and it was really lovely. Just what we needed after all the gin sampling! I would definitely recommend this experience and I may even book again myself! Thanks for a great afternoon.

Yet another wonderful Sunday Roast at this gorgeous venue, from the minute you walk through the door, to be welcomed by the lovely smiling Faye this venue is so warm and welcoming, gorgeous roasts and wine, and a lovely unobtrusive singer. Cannot wait to come back again, we all love it .

This place for us was a little gem. From the moment we walked through the door we felt welcome. It's cozy with a friendly and knowledgeable barman serving a range of beer including a number of cask ales of which we tried two and both were well kept. The place was traditional with wooden floor and tables but seemed to have a modern vibe about it.. we got a menu which was a variety of tapas and ordered a number of them. The food was well presented and was fabulous every one being very tasty. We finished with the Basque Cheescake for desert and wow its amazing, worth a visit just for that. We wouldn't hesitate to go there for a drink and something to eat again.

Wednesday bottomless brunch for my other halfs 40th. Great food, small but nice selection of alcoholic drinks to plough through if your in that rhythm. Service was great from Evie & Chandler, well worth the money. Plus some music I never heard before which was good

Was very excited to try this but sadly it's permanently closed I was told by their neighbors. It does not exist anymore.

We used to come here regularly for brunch or occasionally a Sunday lunch when they did that, but it's gone downhill. Their menu is just a bit weird now. They have 50% off on Sundays, yet only for a small fraction of the menu which is a bit of a strange mix of sandwich and light bite options. You've got to do a lot of work to figure out what's on offer, not on offer, and what someone should order. They used to do fantastic breakfasts and brunches, but they've scaled these back to an unappealing one permutation of a breakfast sandwich (sausage, bacon and hash brown. Nothing else). No eggs anywhere on the breakfast menu these days. I might be wrong - they obviously know their market better than me - but it seems like they had a lovely food offer and they've lost it to offer an average lunch offer instead. Would love to keep on supporting this independent venue, but it's not what it was.
