Amazing food and atmosphere. No expense spared on the building and interior. Extremely tasty food and drinks, attentive and friendly staff. Best curry house I know.

Very noisey restaurant, can't hear what people are saying at your table, no problem at other restaurants! Food was poor, prawns were rock hard and tablecloth had stains on, waited an hour and half for food to arrive. It was very busy but they may need to not take as many bookings so the service and standards improve or employ more staff! Drinks took ages to arrive, normally have 3 drinks or more, only had 1. Won't be going again, been quite a few times with similar poor service but food has always been good in the past but not bothering anymore as we don't go out often and when we do it's a treat so want a good time with good food.

Very very busy, table booked for 7pm didn't get seated til 7.30. Food was good but due to being so busy it wasn't very warm ☹️. Again, service wasn't great due to the amount of tables. Maybe better not on Saturday evening

Brilliant place this always looks after us

Booked for a party of 45 for an 18th Birthday. Service and staff were great but it did take almost 1 hour to take the food order. Food did arrive in good time and the food was fantastic, we were informed we had over ran our 2 hrs booking (not informed it was a 2 hrs booking) but staff were polite and we cleared out. Have been several times also in smaller group and I think food, staff and value for money is fantastic.Very popular restaurant and car park will become hectic when busy.

Went this evening without a reservation and even though it was very busy they still managed to find us a table in about 10 minutes and kept us informed during the wait and could not have been nicer. The food was excellent- my wife wanted very mild Korma and it was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and engaging including the owner who was very professional and courteous. We will certainly be returning even though we are only visiting for a couple of weeks. Highly recommended.

Always a great experience. Currys are exceptional, staff friendly. A tad expensive but worth it for the quality of the food.

Wow! We had our Christmas dinner here today, and what a lovely experience it was! The food is awesome and the staff can't do enough for you. The head waiter knows his stuff! Our bill came to £105 on Christmas day! I paid more than double that before for rubbish on Christmas day 🤷‍♀️. Absolutely will be back, thank you so much. The prawn cocktail was absolutely delicious and so worth every penny and more 😋

Recently celebrated my son’s 21st birthday here with 18 family and friends. The service, food and atmosphere were excellent. Will definitely becoming back again.

Been here a few times, it’s my boyfriend’s favourite curry house as he loved the naga sauce. I didn’t mind the food however found portion sizes quite small especially considering the price. We recently attended for a party and the curry’s were good, however when we chose the party set meal option we weren’t really given choices of what sides we wanted and had chips and rice thrown at us and the starters were very small. I also find every time I go here there are lots of rowdy people in disrupting the atmosphere.

Food was pretty standard starters are quite small, the mains were quite large in portion but tasted slightly bland. Asked for the dish to be made spicy but it wasn’t really that spicy.

Came in with a group. We didn’t book but they sorted a table out for us. Excellent food and service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ friendly staff….

When we arrived it was busy and they managed to fit us in. So book. Even though it was busy the service was excellent. No long waits between courses. I love curries. I have had good and bad. This was excellent. I am always honest about what I write. They are rich and flavoursome. The Naan was to die for. Soft fluffy and quite large. And importantly tasty. If you fancy a takeaway then you get 20% off the menu prices. Make sure you book.

Went with family (10 people) to celebrate a birthday good ambiance food was average however was angered when heard the staff being derogatory towards the indigenous guests no apology racism works both ways!!!!

I have eaten many many times at the Amaani Restaurant plus numerous take aways,the excellent selection of dishes and friendly service is what keeps me going back.I have yet to find a better curry house in Tameside

This restaurant is a jewel in the crown if you are looking for top quality Indian Cuisine. It has an extensive menu and the meals are reasonably priced. Service is exceptional with all staff trained to deliver an excellent customer service experience. Staff are very pleasant, professional and courteous. They are very much on the ball throughout your visit from the initial reception at the restaurant and throughout all the courses of your meal. They very much enhance your total dining experience. If you are unable to visit they also have a quality takeaway service which is also used extensively. Top customer marks from a man who is hard to please! They are thoroughly well deserved.

Really warm welcome , place was busy with a lively ambience , interesting shape building with lighting to match. Staff attentive but not overly so, good menu with wide choice. Excellent chili naan the bindi bhaji amazing !

Visited the restaurant today on a works do, I'm not one usually for complaining but was disappointed tonight. And honestly not with the food, the food was great, hence the two star, it was the service, and how I felt treated differently. I was told to order my drinks at the bar but yet others in our party was getting drinks at the table, I was charged £9:10 for a vodka and coke. When all the food arrived, I was waiting on my egg rice and chapati bread, I was told egg rice was not ordered, that was funny as I distinctively ordered the egg rice with everything else. Then to top off my experience here, I asked for a take out box, I could not finish my meal off and others in our party had asked and received take out boxes I was told they don't do that but will take my food away and wrap it up for me. I felt like why am I being treated differently after making a point of that, a member of our team offered me one of there take out boxes, I told the waiter, that it doesn't matter now. Great food but shame about the service, honestly felt not welcome. And my colleague felt the same.

We visited Amaani on a Saturday evening without a booking they were more than happy to accommodate us. The staff are friendly and I asked the waiter what he recommended and OMG it was absolutely the best curry I have ever tried. It was a specialty curry and the chicken had been pasted through flour and the fried and added to the curry 😍 Highly recommend and I will be visiting again soon 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I went here with my family that lives in the area, it's one of their favorite places and they had taken my folks years back when they visited, and they highly recommended it, so I really wanted to check it out myself. I was not disappointed, the food, decor and service was fantastic. I had Indian dishes I've never had or even heard of before, I wish I had the chance to eat more of the menu items because it all looked so good!

Best Indian restaurant in the area. Food is always exceptional. Service is top notch. I come here with my family and with my friends and am a regular visitor. Never had a bad meal here. I just wish they delivered takeaways ☺️

Great food but cursed by its own popularity and can be a bit loud.

Great evening with my Girlfriend for a date night. Excellent service and food was amazing. Only downside was 2 large groups who was being very loud and we was struggling to hear each other talking for a little while but luckily they left before us. We will be back for sure what a great place.

Just been here for our anniversary. Our waiter Naz was exemplary. The food, damn its was good, probably the nicest curry I've had and I've had a lot of them. Do your taste buds a favour, bring them here, you won't be disappointed. I can highly recommend Amaani for its excellent food and customer service. We will be returning. Thanks for a wonderful evening lads.

Great Indian restaurant, best to book early

The starter was lovely but the main course which I order in every Indian restaurant was too hot to eat! The staff were also very “in your face” pestering every 5 mins I was 2/3 through my pint and they asked twice if I wanted another ! When I explained the food was far too hot to eat they just ignored me I won’t be going back

This place is fantastic. Great looking and the food is amazing.

Ordered starters missed 1 off then food came ordered a chicken tikka on hot plate which was cold I could pick it up .Then 1 meal missing so waited again . Onions on the hot plate was not cooked and not a lot of chicken . It's put me off going again as it cost 168 pounds for 6 adults. We had water and 4 cokes no alcohol.

Normally love it here and service tends to be great however we went tonight and it was not. When asking for starters one meal did not come out whilst ordering we had to ask for a jug of water 3 times and we still didn’t get one, after asking again it took 5 minutes to get to the table , when ordering mains once again not all the food came out and we had to tell them that food was missing. The food tasted off and not to the usual standard, we came to the resturant with a child and was in shock when inappropriate videos were playing on the TV we had to ask the staff to turn the video off as the child was slightly upset. Also when our mains came out we mentioned that the food was not sizzling as stated the waitress then touched the plate and went yes it’s cold, we also mentioned that the food usually came with vegetables the waitress said ask for it next time and if you don’t like it leave a review.

I have dined here many times and never had any complaints , yet tonight was a different story , the table service was appalling! Witnessed member of staff insulting his other colleagues and then asked ‘ oih you have u finished to my friends and told , and told they haven’t had wine glasses for 15 years and served the wine in a pint pot and then told dont You need to learn how to order’! What the hell totally ruined the evening and will not be visiting again the food was cold And the hospitality was absolutely terrible Totally ruined my daughters special day!

Disappointed, the poppadoms were overcooked and tasted as though they had been cooked in old fat they were changed but still had a strange taste 😕

Best place iv ever eaten at, the food is out of this world, the service is friendly and warm the atmosphere is buzzing I love there food and even when we get takeout the quality is still top notch and the food is piping hot! They just need to add delivery to homes and it would be perfect

Food was nice, customer service was terrible, paid for our meal at the table, then another member of staff came running after us as we was leaving and asked us if we had paid, embarrassing us in front of people. Not organized or professional.

Absolutely fabulous food at this restaurant Great price's and the staff are amazing, portions sizes are so good the food is piping hot when it arrives at the table . We will definitely make another trip back to this restaurant again.

Interesting place this. The main course was so much food for me and the misses however I must say that the starters were abit disappointing. The servers were top notch! There were loads of them!! The one improvement I would make is the servers to tend to linger a little waiting for you to finish your food. Oh yes and make sure you try the garlic and kemaa nann

The manager (owner maybe) reminds me of Donald Trump, he is that divorced from reality. We order food at 6 for collection at 8, we get there at 8 and let the staff know we had arrived and get told to take a seat and it would get bagged up and sorted. Cue a 50 minute wait for our food. When we eventually stopped letting them fob us off with 'its just being bagged up' after 30 minutes and actually found out that they had only just started to prep it, we were obviously not happy. Complained to the manager/owner who went ballistic at us, blaming us for his incompetence. In his own words, we should be grateful it was only 50 minutes late and not 2 hours 🤣🤣🤣. The most surreal experience I've had in along time.

We were visiting nearby and noticed this place enroute ,so glad we decided to return to eat here .The staff were friendly and so helpful I asked for recommendations as to which fish dish to choose. The fish Biran was recommended and it certainly didn’t disappoint, my husband had chicken tikka Biriyani best he had ever eaten .peshwari naan was freshly made and tasted amazing . The choice of dishes is good something to suite any palate . We live 35 miles away with a number of authentic Indian restaurants but none compare to Amaani we would have no hesitation in returning.

It's a curry house, which means they serve the same dishes as every other curry house, apart from a few signature dishes. The food was good, though, but the service was somewhat lacking.

Lovely meal for 6. Food served promptly piping hot - we had meat eaters and vegetarians in our party and we all throughly enjoyed it. We can always rely on Amaani to deliver an excellent meal

The food was incredible at the restaurant and would highly recommend to anyone. We went as a large party for my husbands 60th birthday celebration and had a fantastic evening, the staff made sure everything went to plan and looked after us really well.

We were seated at our table for 4 and once our drinks arrived, starters followed very quickly. We were continuously interrupted by different waiters asking us are we ready to have our main meal. I asked could we finish enjoying our drinks first, but within minutes we were interrupted again as they wanted the plates cleared and one of us still hadn't even finished! Again, we were asked are we ready for the main course. Served main course and after i put my knife snd fork down just to take a minute, the waiter was there asking if I'd finished! Felt rushed, even though restaurant was getting quiter as people were leaving. Would not go again even though food was tasty.

Everything on the food side was excellent, But the drinks are expensive :- £5.50 for a small white wine spritzer, is a bit over the top i thinks. Would go again but not buy alcoholic drinks.

I had a wonderful time at Amaanis food experience. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I especially enjoy the lamb Naga special or any Apna Desi curry, which is tender and flavorful. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend Amaani to anyone looking for a satisfying and authentic meal.

We don’t like that you get pushed in the waiting area when you have booked a table you should be shown to your table on arrival. The staff have been there for ages & are not as welcoming to customers, perhaps because they are too busy. Once you get to your table the service is good & efficient but they have no time for pleasantries. Food is very good, maybe not authentic as it could be but enjoyable.

Looks like they have changed the old staff bad move as the new lot are miserable as hell the food not the same as well will not be going again
