Best curry ever very friendly service with a smile

Mahal is the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to. The food is absolutely beautiful. The lamb chops main is to die for. The service was outstanding from Hamza and Abu. They treated me and my family with so much love and respect. Definitely coming back!

First I thought the lady on the phone was absolutly lovely. Secondly I dont normally get that many takeaways as I am normally quite fussy on where I eat. However this food was absolutly geuoarges one of the best i have had.

Second time at Mahal tonight and both times were excellent. Really good curry, sides and starters. Good service, big portions and good values. Highly recommended.

Staff were rude, also shouting at other staff members, the whole restaurant stunk of cigarette smoke, when I went to the toilet I could see the chef smoking a cigarette with no shoes on, in the cellar

Mahal Indian Restaurant exceeded our expectations with its delightful cuisine and warm ambiance. The chicken tikka vindaloo was perfectly spiced, and the naan was the best we have ever had. The service was impeccable, making us feel truly welcomed. We highly recommend this gem for an authentic and memorable dining experience. Five stars! Will be back 👍😍

I went there based on the rating on google but just to realize that restaurants shouldn't be chosen based on ratings alone. I ordered prawn cocktail as a starter which was just okay. For the mains we ordered mixed grill sizzler and chicken biryani. Sizzler looked tempting but tasteless. Biryani was nowhere near to how biryani should be. It was flavourless and no seasoning at all. Hardly ate anything while I was starving. Wouldn't recommend anyone to go here if you're craving an authentic desi food. Complete waste of money.

Only had a takeaway from Mahal. The starters and curries were really good. The pilau rice and chips were rather tasteless, and the garlic naan was disappointing too.

I love to find a good restaurant, when you are in the mood for an Indian one, then this is the place to go. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was absolutely top of its class. We was lucky to be there when it was opening and lucky to get a table. I believe this place books out. The atmosphere and setting is a pleasure also. Highly recommended

We had a takeaway of Chicken Jalfrezi and Ameri Murgh. Both dishes were delicious. They were very tasty with fresh ingredients. We will definitely dine in next time. The ordering process and customer service on collection was friendly and first class.

We go all over trying different curry houses. Last time we went to this place it was with previous owners,it was shocking. Was dubious to come back but so glad we did. The food was mega, staff were lovely,very attentive without being too much. Can honestly say best curry we've had in ages. We generally go to the plaza,aamani,etc will definitely have this as our local curry house now. Great place

Great place. Been there quite a few times now and the food gets better everytime. ordered butter lamb last night. chicken came out (which was great btw) as a gesture of good will, they gave me a butter lamb, rice and naan bread to take home (dinner for today sorted) They didn't have to do that as the food was fantastic. Great place, great staff.

Had Christmas lunch here today with my family. Wonderful food, as always, lovely atmosphere and brilliant service. The staff are amazing...pleasant, friendly and incredibly helpful and obliging. I cannot praise this place too highly.

8 of us went for a curry at the Mahal and the food and service was excellent. Special shout out to Ahmed who was our waiter. He gave us plenty of time between courses and never rushed us. Will definitely be back.

Wow. Amazing. It’s hard to get a good curry these days but this place is 1st class. Beautiful restaurant and friendly and attentive staff. The popadums were super fresh and warm. Starters were amazing and the main meal equally as good. Highly recommended.

Had my 40th birthday meal here We pre ordered food to help the restaurant out as there was 20 odd guests. The food was all served prompt, staff were all excellent as Always, food exactly the same as every other time we have been amazing! For someone who doesn’t like Indian food I can honestly say this place changed my mind. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and clean. 10/10 for the overall experience, will definitely be returning!

Came here for my sister's birthday. Haven't been since it was taken over but I'm so glad we went. Every member of staff we came across were very friendly, they couldn't have done more to ensure we had a good time. The food tasted amazing and the rest of my party agreed, when the bill came we were pleasantly surprised at how low it was considering there were 8 of us. Will definitely be going again

Alright. Fairs fair. We were a party of 20 on a Wednesday night, but it took over 2 hours to get our mains. It wasn't busy, and tbh I've had far better.

I went there for something to eat.parking there for all people. Not a big car park,but adequate. Entrance for all people. Met at the door shown to a table and given menues. Staff were friendly and good with service. Food was reasonably quick in coming. Hot well cooked and tasty. Prices were not cheap, but competitive. Will go there again.

The food was okay. It was spoiled by a very noisy group of guests it was more like being at a football match than a family restaurant.

A group of 4, plenty of parking, clean, and an amazing choice of dishes. The food was truly amazing Thank you we’ll be back again
