Ordered roots more times then I no and it’s normally ten outta ten but this was the first time the full order was stone cold and ABs tiny portion compared to usual

AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!! Customer service is a absolute joke they literally don’t care about the customers. The guy who answered the phone did nothing at all even tough my order was completely wrong and we spent £60 on food !! Stick your company so far up a place I can’t say on this review. Work on how you treat your customers and look at your menu because had the food is spelt wrong you dumb piece of off Donner meat

The burgers are absolutely gorgeous , been twice , first time was a philly cheese steak burger , to die for. my mate had a tofu and said it was of the tastiest veggie burger . Second time was tonight, wife had the dope burger , she loved it , I had the diabolo burger , loved , so tasty and my daughter had the hotdog. The staff were pleasant and charming and I will be travelling again to gem of a place. I take photos next time.

Food was ridiculous for the price and was spoken too incorrectly from staff. The donner kabab had like 5 peices of donner with dry chips. Food also cold. All because they are closing they have been lazy which isn’t right

When me and my friends first walked past Roots we saw an amazing deal of £5.00 for a chicken burger with fries and a drink. It was perfect with my friend only being 50p short. We got the money and the next day we were ordering. The lady at the counter was super nice, food was served fast, lots of different options that they gave to us. When we received our food, I took the first bite. It was just perfect, the sauce and the chicken were just so greatly matched, the fries were very good. The atmosphere however wasn’t as good, there wasn’t people there I don’t understand why. They have great prices, food and service. 5 stars.

Burger was lovely and fresh however Parmalat chips an chicken strips were awful! Not upto usual standard nothing were stale! Chips hard and no flavour waste of money ☹️

Mac and cheese is just pasta with pepper on. No Parmesan on the ‘Parmesan fries’. Grilled cheese wasn’t fully cooked

The pizza looked and tasted like a cheap frozen oven pizza, the chilli beef chips were literally just mince beef on top of chips, no seasoning, chilli beef is literally meant to be chilli con carne on chip but this wasn’t. Wasn’t very happy with this order, the only good thing was the milkshake, at least that was nice.

Fantastic quality food, really delicious, delivered right on time. Maybe a little heavy on the garlic in the mac and cheese grilled cheese but it was still real good.

Tonight I was so looking forward to my philly cheesesteak & bbq chicken tenders. Tenders had a decent flavour & the bbq sauce was tasty. But absolutely stone cold, overcooked & dry. It was really late, & I get the feeling they'd been cooked a long time before being collected by deliveroo, & just left till an order came in. Philly cheesesteak was lukewarm, cheese had gone hard & the beef was totally overdone & hard. Such a shame, as my first few orders had been great. Won't be ordering again.

Didn’t know weather I would be able to get a take out delivery on New Year’s Day, but roots stepped up. Omg that has to be the best hotdog and steak fries ever, was ready within 10 minutes from ordering online. And was red hot which is very rare when ordering online but roots were excellent, and the driver was lovely also great service and food will defo be on my fave list from now on. Thanku roots happy new year 😍😍

roots has always been my go to place,best food ever but dont know if they have changed hands or decided to be cheap and generic but ordered pizza and garlic bread which is new,thought I would try...nope... also salt pepper box (now so so tiny)....disgusting...will never ever order again...such a shame was best in Salford...not now.dont bother go else where

Food was unreal the chicken burgers, onion rings, hash browns, the daim milkshake was to die for, very quick delivery and the driver was lovely. Living in ireland and I’d actually fly over again just for this food😆

Great as usual. The burgers are so tasty. On the otherhand the carrot cake was so dry and a waste of money.

I ordered parmasan fries, which used to be fries with melted garlic butter, parmasan and parsley over the top of skin on fries. What I recieved on this order was very salty bog standard fries with a quarter of a teaspoon of cheese (not an exaggeration) I feel ripped right off. Won't be ordering again.

Never had a problem with roots until last night, the delivery was wrong which got rectified but after consuming the food my front and pack passage did not agree, in pain until half 4 in the morning, I wouldn’t want anybody else to go through that. Unfortunately I will not be buying from there again due to feeling so ill after eating the food.

Due to my error order was initially delivered to wrong address but driver sorted promptly and food was delivered still fresh and hot Highly recommended
