Lovely and cosy Greek restaurant in Liverpool with live music in specific days since 1970s. Lousia and her daughter are great hosts! Should try their fresh made meals , specially meat and lahmajun along with an ouzo, raki (if you fancy) or wine and finale with one of their delicious deserts!
Visited for my husbands birthday, the staff had kindly put a birthday banner out for him. Service was efficient and friendly - the place was quite busy for a weeknight after the bank holiday - a lot of other places were quiet. Food was presented well and tasted lovely and they brought out a birthday dessert for my husband with a candle in it. Only very minor issue was the temperature was a little on the warm side
A real gem in West Kirby! We loved Aubergine Café so much, we visited twice during our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home as soon as we walked in. The café itself is a beautiful, airy space with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
The coffee was excellent, and the food was just as impressive—everything fresh and full of flavor. But the real standout? The cake! Absolutely delicious, with a great selection that made it hard to choose (so we didn’t—we came back for more!).
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, quality café experience in West Kirby. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
Thai food is my fave and this place really was mediocre at its best! We got 5 dishes and not one of them was half decent. Pad thai less than average, chill an garlic ribs more fat/grease than meat, char sui fan bland and the stuffed chicken wings just nasty! Not authentic Thai at all, definately won't be returning here! Over priced and made me feel ill, we left starving!
Second time we have visited Ocean Palace now and it is a fantastic restaurant. Family run and the staff were outstanding , making a fuss of my little boy and making sure we had everything we needed. The place has some personality aswell. Nothing was too much trouble.... Food was fresh and tasty . Couldn't fault a thing
Only here for a few minutes after a walk. The choice was great for food and drink! Highly recommend. Mostly used by me after a walk and occasionally for other situations.
The food is always beautiful, fresh and quick, been many times and never had a bad meal.
Staff are always so friendly and welcoming.
We have had many special occasions here, and look forward to coming back.
Went in for breakfast with my husband & dog after reading positive reviews. Sat down and ordered, Ted the dog was whining slightly but nothing excessive or loudly, we were tucked in a corner, out of the way. After 10 mins we were approached by a long haired man & asked if there was any way we could shut our dog up or we would have to leave. We promptly got up & left , without even a drink served, let alone food. After a while, pondering on what had been said, l returned to the cafe & reminded them it was supposed to be a dog friendly establishment & in 8 years of owning Ted , l had never been asked to leave anywhere!
Also the long haired gentleman needs to be reminded he should wear a hair net as he is preparing food, not have it loosely tired back with strands of hair hanging out !
